  1. While in the ABRIS: MENU/SETUP/OPTIONS/PERF they are listed there. Each Waypoint lists fuel required also.
  2. Page 7-29 in the BS Manual has reference to the fuel burn values that can be edited in the ABRIS. Check that out.
  3. I know the ABRIS has some fuel data in the PLAN mode. All I know is: If I use up both tanks, I have to go sit down and rest a awhile. :p Hope you find what you are looking for. I too love doing the pilot-sh*# with the Ka-50.
  4. Note: Tracks are paused at the start. Hit pause to get them to play. You may have to wait a bit for your plane to show up.
  5. Looks like an easy one to build. If you have the time, save the money for other things. To tell the truth, I would rather be comfortable. :)
  6. Great start! You're ahead of the game. :)
  7. You have to reset monitors in your Helios profile. Make the monitor numbers match the Windows monitor numbers.
  8. Gear levers are over-glorified switches. :) The biggest gear lever still uses one or two micro switches. I would like better bindings for and control over the axis though. Most of all, I just want bugs fixed.
  9. I was in the same boat as you, returning to DCS after a long layoff. Helios does not like changes and I saw all kinds of strange errors, some unfixable. If an interface just does not seem to work correctly, you probably have to delete and then re-add it. That means redoing all bindings for it. Like I said, Helios is picky about changes. If you edit and save your Helios profile when your hardware controllers are not loaded or turned on, it will screw up the bindings associated to those controllers. For my cockpit, if I change the system hardware (new computer, ect), my Helios profile won't work. Backups won't help at that point and a new profile with deleted/re-added interfaces is the only fix. My setup is unique though, as I use so many virtual controllers. Best of luck to you,
  10. Also try disabling G forces. I had to do these two options changes to keep my cockpit view straight up while turning
  11. Hi, Make sure head movements are off to stop the head from tilting. See if that helps.
  12. Hello, Has your system updated Windows lately? I've noticed that the last auto update changed the ID address of my controllers and it produced the same symptom of cockpit switches working the wrong switch in DCS (through Helios). I thought I would ask as a trouble shooting step.
  13. You can lower Y saturation for a smoother flight. You lose maneuverability for dogfighting though. Didn't LOMAC allow you to chose different curve profiles? Refueling, ect? Just create a profile with less Y sat and fine tune the curves. Then practice a lot.
  14. Oh man, Win10 got me good last night with an update. My cockpit uses 5 HID controllers for all the switches and axis required. Win 10 saw fit to change the ID numbers of these 5 controllers. This means DCS and Helios see them in a different order. Hundreds of switches and all axis are now inoperative. This took weeks to get running and it is gone. Restore didn't fix it. Wow! Went to bed with a great running cockpit and it is now gone. yeah, I'm not liking Win10.
  15. Ka-50 enthusiasts have hitched their wagons to a horse that is headed to the glue factory. It makes a great cockpit though. :)
  16. Those are some nice looking rudders!
  17. Thanks again Frederf, I guess it's just another pre-flight function that does nothing.
  18. Clean schmeen. If I could go back to Win7 I would do it in a second.
  19. Right side wall panel, there is a switch for just what you want Mag/Gyro/Manual. It doesn't do anything now though (I think). AP will follow PVI-800, Shkval (auto turn) or it will hold your current heading (DT DH middle position).
  20. I really need some new pictures.
  21. Thanks guys. Hopefully, I'll find another person to test the DL with soon. Maybey we did something wrong, though I am pretty sure I know how to use it. To tell the truth, I had no idea cheating was so rampant. Makes one think twice about all of this. What a shame.. If I may say so, I find it odd that these export limits are needed in the free-flight, non-pvp servers I have been flying in. Thanks again for replies to my cry baby post heheh
  22. I enjoy seeing hacked joysticks. :) It is how this hobby starts. Your collective holds position with all the leverage on it? thanks for posting the pics.
  23. I/JG2 Bouma: People have been wishing that for a long, long time. :)
  24. Man, I do hate those download sites! They are like minefields trying to choose the correct link. Your link took me to a page where I finally DL'd "GeForce_Experience_v2-4-5-28.exe". (?) My computer won't let it load as it says I have a same or newer version. If I start my Geforce Experience up, it asks me to log on using an account, I don't see any Shadow Play buttons. I don't see why I must use a Facebook account just to use this on my system. Is the Shadow Play icon that human head silhouette in a gray circle? I cannot use it until I log in with the account.
  25. Thanks for the detailed answer Gunnergolly. This is very exciting and a much needed SoftTH replacement for the multi monitor setup. I'll report my findings soon.
