  1. I think you'll notice only in Night missions. I have Rift(OLED) and GO(LCD), and I can see the diference only in dark games.
  2. In X-plane you can get the virtual Yoke with your hands, and you move it by inclining the touch, you can control pitch and roll we enougth precision for whats normally required on a civil flight, I love it ... Then I tryed the same control scheme with VTOL, a combat flight game, and it doesn't work at all, you need a joystick/HOTAS for fast manoeuvers. Maybe one day with touch controller with strong haptic feedback it could be a thing, but I think we'll have HOTAS+gloves much sooner.

  4. RIP Didn't know him, but I'm gratefull for the gift he made us. He was my age, and suddenly ... we are nothing, we can dissapear one day, but what we build can stay alive after us, if we build something.

    Parece que es un bug de DCS, que lo arreglaron hace una semana, asi que con la proxima actualización se irá: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=232390 Por cierto, me esta encantando el avion, ya me se mas o menos los sitemas, ahora toca empezar a volarlo. Sabes de misiones chulas para el ? Que no sean muy dificiles que soy novatillo ;)

  8. I don't find the binding for "Bombs Arm Sitch". And I also don't find the "Bomb release button" on bindings, and also cna't click it on the cockpit, I'm unable to drop bombs. Edit: I found this one, it was called "Lanzar Arma", under the "Weapons" section, when all the other weapons where in the "Armamento". I don't know why somethings get translated and other don't I don't see either "BDHI mode" on bindings How is that going ? Sounds awesome !!! Someone can recommend me some nice mission or campaigns ?
  9. For navigation, I would like to switch it off, and that's one of the most difficult to click controls in VR, with the clic-area drift problems
  10. That's really backfiring !!!!!! :lol: Luckyly it will be too late when they make the politics changes, and Vulkan will be the dominant API in the future. That's amazing !!!!!!! Not only the performance improvemens, but also being free from Microsoft !!!!
  11. Yo don't need to use all the resolution right now ... you can set less that 1.0 supersampling, you'll have the same software resolution that Rift S, and less SDE. But when the software improves (FFR) or you have a better graphics card, your HMD will be ready
  12. Thanks :) "Select role" is only available in Multiplayer, isn't it ? Can you recommend me a server to practice with the "Scooter" ? I was in SP till now. BTW, the scooter is trully amazing, yesterday was my first day with it, still have to map somethings, and learn others, but I'm liking it as much as the F-5E
  13. Is this a joke ? I have the Clickarea problem, have to click outside the controls ... if it's not a Joke, can someone explain me how to do that ? Is it only for MP ? What's the Scooter ? I think the HUD ilumination keys are not working, Gun Sight roulette doesn't react

  15. Totally, for DCS is no brainer, HP Reverb I have Oculus Rift and Oculus GO, and the visual diference is small, and this Rift S has the Screen and lenses of the GO. In fact, it's a downgrade from the rift in many points: - No headphones included - 80Hz - Worst blacks (LCD instead of OLED) - No hardware adjustable IPD
  16. By default, Rift makes some supersampling, and everything is rendered at 1440p or 1600p, I don't remember the exact resolution, and then it's downsampled at 1200p. This increases qualily a lot, more than on a monitor, because of the lens deformation. So with the Rift S, they will do none or less supersamplig by default.

  20. Joer, yo he libetado 2.3GB gracias a esto esto, y ya noto que me pega menos tirones y carga mas rapido, no me quiero imaginar ganando 16GB. Respecto a la optimización del F-14, supongo que sí, viendo el mimo que pone HeatBlur, cuando este acabado seguro que lo optimizan bien. Optimizar cada release no haría mas que retrasar el modulo. Pero aun así, yo creo que será un modulo que pedirá mas maquina que el resto, yo no lo tengo, pero solo con ver a Jester y sus animaciones, es que esas cosas no salen gratis, los de heatblur son bueno pero no magos. PD: Lo que flipo es revientor y otros que con 8GB lo mueven !!!! :huh:
  21. Como te gusta el Mirage !!!!! Me molaría ver un video tuyo con tu opinión de los modulos actuales, cuales te gustan mas, cuales menos, pq. Eso estaba pensando yo, ya que la IA de DCS me parece muy buena, y que en vez de ser un bug igual es un comportamiento lógico. Aun así, estaría bien un modificador de esa IA para poder forzar Dogfights.

  23. Yes, they say also SteamVR, in a worst case scenario, ED shold have to do some small changes to properly support everything. At this moment, it seems the best HMD for flihtsims, if you have a graphics card to move it. And it seems is gonna release before Cosmos, that has similar resolution. Let's wait till the end of GDC, it's rumored that Valve is gonna introduce his new HMD.

  25. Fixec Foveated Rendering ? Pimax is gonna launch his version of that this week, they had support from NVIDIA, but it's only for RTX card with Nvidia Variable Bitrate Shading. I'm eager to see it in practice how much of an improvement is, or if it's just smoke, but I have faith on it.
