  1. It's not so different from the AMRAAM, once shoot it follows a fixed path to the point where it has to become pitbull. Optionally, it has the option to be updated by datalink, but it needs the plane to mantain the radar lock to send those updates.

  4. F/A-18C Aggressors BFM Campaign by Revientor :pilotfly: Me esperaba un dogfight sin mas, y menuda sorpresa !!!!!! Animo con lo de los sonidos, seguro que consigues dar con un efecto de radio impecable, y luego ya una vez que sabes ya no te costará tanto hacerlo. Facil no tiene que ser, ya que en la campaña Bear Trap de ED no suenan muy bien, mucho peor que en las de Baltic Dragon.   6. I don't think there are many 4K displays ready for VR right now, so my guess is all HMDs comming this year with more than 1600p use that display, the Qualcom reference design too, the pico one too.

  8. That comparison has nothing to do with OLED ... it's just pentile vs RGB. PSVR has an OLED RGB display, and being only 1080p on resolution is very good
  9. I like the nose gap too, but many people complained about the light that entered ... Have you seen videos or captures of that 'pass through' ? I thought it was wireframe, like what they showed for the Quest on OC5.
  10. For DCS Reverb and Cosmos should be quite equivalent. With Cosmos, we have to see how much increases the tracking volume of the controllers, but that will affect other kind of games. Rift S is gonna be much worst fpr DCS, with Reverb, even if you render at the same resolution that for Rift S, you'll have less SDE.
  11. What's AAR ? On VR, you have a lot of depth perception for close objects, like in real life, but it's related to binaural vision, so in your case I don't know if this will be true. For far objects, seeing them on real scale helps also to make you an idea of how far it is.

    Me pasa lo mismo. Pregunté en el hilo oficial, y me dijeron que eso pasa si empiezas con el avion en el aire, que si empiezas en porta-aviones o en tierra eso no pasa, pero me sigue pasando. Si me paso de la zona de cables de parada, no me explota, pero me voy al mar, pero en la zona de cables, siempre me explota.
  13. That fixes it for me too ... sometimes I have to do it once, sometimes 20 times, but it finally works. I suspected NVidia/Windows related issue, since I didn't have it on the past, and I reverted to Oculus 1.30 runtime, and I still have it.
  14. Por cierto, veo que te estas aficionando a las carreras, conoces las misiones "Vegas Tour" de FC3 ? Estan para el F-15C, Su.27 y algunos mas, es una contrareloj de pasar por puertas verdes de esas, si vas despacio es facil, pero yendo rápido a mi no me parece nada facil, especialmente el cañon de despues de pasar la presa Hoover ...

I'm loving learning SEAD with this plane and this mission: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3302675/ This is a perfect plane for land attack, I guess the F/A-18 will be nice, but it will miss this analog charm !!!! Amazing, 3 in 1 mission for practice, i have put it in Saved Games\DCS\Mods\aircraft\A-4E-C\Missions\EN\QuickStart for entering it quickly. Also I learned how to edit other single player mission for this VR Fix, many thanks. When I try to land inthe Stannis, I allways explode, should I make something with the tacan, or it's just that I'm making bad landings. Me best landing was not very good, but an exploxion seems a little extreme to me ...

No hace falta algo muy formal, ya que si te curras una review, para muchos modulos se puede quedar obsoleta enseguida, algo así sin preparar, ir pasando rapidamente por encima por los modulos, y lo primero que te venga de cada uno, un minutillo por modulo para no hacerlo muy largo, y yo creo que podría ser interesante como continuación de lo que tienes que saber de DCS para empezar ...

    Lo acaban de comentar en el Hilo del MOD, parece que le pasa a todo el mundo en la estable, si te pasas a OpenBeta te funcionara.
  19. No, that's not an Issue changing the plane, I have already done with other missions. The issue for me are those kind of missions, the are randomized, and you don't have a detailed briefing, I guess those are cool for veteran pilots, but I'm really lost there.
  20. Can I play that in single player but starting a multiplayer server on DCS ? Is the only way to have the A-4E cockpit with clicable controls "on place" I'm looking at the .txt files of that mission, and I see you have to edit it to select what you want. I think this is for veterans, I'm already having problems in simple missions, just to undestand what is the objective, how to reach it, etc ...

    A submarine can't go too deep, even light doesn't reach beyond some depth, so no sense to make anything beyond 300m
  22. Yes, on SteamVR you can change that easily, even if the game doesn't support it directly. That's what I did for runing Fallout 4 VR smooth on my Rfit.

    Como no tienen acceso al SDK, el apontaje debe de estar hecho con trucos, y tiene una serie de limitaciones: Limitations of the Carrier Ops System Only the Stennis can be used as a carrier The Stennis must be in its own group with no other ships The carrier may have only one waypoint and must drive with a constant speed and the speed must be greater than zero. The TACAN signal must be set on waypoint zero and must be unique (be aware of static TACANs already present on the map). The A4E uses only channels “X”.
  24. A less dark grey ... but also you have less MURA effect (the kind of white dots) with an LCD It's not dramatic, but I like more the Rift in dark scenes
  25. So yo are telling that the differences I see between Rift and GO are only on my imagination ?
