I wonder if the loadmaster will be able to walk around while th C-130 is airborne, and if so, whether he can jump out. Any info about that available yet? Same about the pilots? Leaving a burning aircraft in time could be helpful.

Sure. I know what you mean So, I start DCS and do the bindings e.g. for the joystick in "general" bindings. Like you described that did not work for any planes. Don't know If we both are doing something wrong, but here comes my work around: I then exported the joystick-bindings within the "general" control settings by clicking into the column of the joystick and then klick on "save profile as" (mine is german). Once saved, I imported this file into each aircraft setting by going into the aircraft's settings, klick into the joystick's column and klick "load profile". Then I selected the previously saved file from "general" (see above) and now I had the setting working. This is far from beeing a good solution for the issue but it saved me a lot of time. I'd prefer to get an explanation why my general bindings did not work as intended without this work around, but I'm hoping someone with better knowledge of things could lead me (or us) to the point I'm still missing. (Don't forget to make a backup of your "...saved games\DCS\Config\Input" folder, before you try this.)

Without knowing, may I suggest taking 2 screenshots of similar planes at same distance at similar aspects and measure the size of both planes? (Better just post about the results, not the screenshots, especially not from that other game.)

I remember having the same issue with the general bindings of my HOTAS controller quite some months ago. My work around was to save/export the general bindings for each controller and load/import those into the controller keybinds of the specific aircraft. (Plz make a backup before you try this.)

I hope your point simply is you are frustrated by the ED/RB issue, like a lot of us are, because if you really compare that with buying the C-130J, I guess it takes more guts buying the M-2000C earlier this year than going in for the C-130J, imho.

Just curious, why would you need to change it in each aircraft? In W10 I changed 1 key in each of my 2 HOTAS devices (makes 2 changes in total) and had all ID's I needed. Is that different in W11?

And if you have made your own modifiers, don't forget to edit the modifiers.lua of each module or redo those modifiers manually, like you did before.

The size of the module isn't metioned in the store yet. The 200GB are the minimum requirement of DCS. E.g. the MiG-29A also shows those 200GB in the minimum requirements but mentions a module size of less than 3GB.
