  1. Had those ID-change-based losses myself, but so early in my DCS journey, that I did not lose too much. Since then, I always store every controls setting for each controller of each module. Like you described above (and even add a version number, and backup those in the cloud). Never had issues aigain nor fear. Don't give up DCS. edit: after @Art-J's post (6 posts down there) I don't recommend my method anymore
  5. I see/measure improvements in smoothness with maps and high settings that I couldn't even play before those changes, e.g. Apache over Marianas in VR.
  6. Well done indeed! Thanks a lot! Feels great so far!
  7. That's a CV-63 Kitty Hawk, isn't it?
  8. Wenn mein Vernunftengelchen was gege diese F-4E gesagt hätte, dann hätte es das, was auf der anderen Schulter sitzt weggepustet, aber heftig
  9. Will those wear and tear issues be saved in the track files of DCS or/and will there be a log to distinguish bugs from features?
  10. Will there be training missions where some of the wear and tear aspects are introduced to new pilots that are not familiar with those (I.e. most of us)?
  11. I guess spherical earth will attract "some" people from those other sims, by giving them a task or a meaning for flying hours around the globe. Maybe even excitement flying alongside SAM-defended areas or having a fighter escort in certain regions, landing in war zones... AWACS or A2A-refueling could be interesting when you have to plan and execute the whole mission within a (dynamic) campaign.
  12. A Navy F-4 that is not a Naval F-4 would only be a USAF F-4 with a livery, right?
  13. Q: Will there be a Navy F-4? A: Yes! Our Phantom journey only begins with the -E. However, owing to the complexity of the work and investment of time and effort, it will not be included in the DCS: F-4E product. We’re instead choosing to focus on providing the most content rich F-4E we possibly can, and then set our sights on further telling the legendary story of the F-4.
  14. Heatblur stated that they will do a Navy variant as an own new module for DCS in the future.
  15. Don't know if it is related to this thread from 2020 that is tagged as reported but not fixed yet: Have you tried RAlt+\
