  1. Well I like the idea mentioned in OP. While waiting for ED to grant your wish, isn't it possible to do a two ship flight as the leading aircraft, save the track and while replaying it, jump in the wingman's plane and follow your own manoeuvres? This way you could plan and execute your own level of difficulty. (Never have tried that myself yet.)
  2. Aus den MiG 29 News:
  3. In 2D there is very little difference between the Hornet cockpit and more modern ones, imho. But my first experience in VR in the Hornet already showed the cockpit's flaws right away. E.g. the UFC's corners and edges are geometrically "perfect". The whole UFC is perfectly flat. This feels unrealistic. Even the screw heads on the UFC are flat and you recognise them as textures only on the first sight. Same with the fuel/engine display. Don't get me wrong, the Hornet is my favourite module. There is no other module I have used as much. I even see advantages in not updating the cockpit for users with older/slower hardware. But the 3D model of the Hornet's cockpit is obviously not at the level of the modern or update modules in DCS anymore. So I get the point of OP, and understand why people ask whether ED is planing to update their "best seller module".
  4. Real time weather has been a huge game changer in the civil flight sims for me. Would love to see it in DCS. The big difference between those sims and DCS is, in DCS we simulate historic areas and days in the past. I don't know how immersive it would feel to have today's weather for a day in e.g. 1985 Germany? But I'd like to find out.
  5. The coupon code is not where you use your spare miles that you have collected by buying products that gave you those miles. Right before you finish your order, there is a button on the lower right of the window where you can use your miles, if you have enough of them. (There is a small minimum, which is stated right at the same spot IIRC)
  6. There aren't DCS modules in the Razbam store. Only manuals for the modules are available for download.
  7. Does it make sense to add a wishlist thread to CH's section of the forum or is he busy for the coming 2-3 years with converting and adding his other assets to DCS core?
  8. +1 Bo 105 is incoming
  9. @cfrag your Tourist-Map is so cool. Don't want to reveal too much but it is worth visiting the Reeperbahn even here in DCS Exploring th GCW map feels much more alive that way. Thanks for your effort!
  10. Thanks for that. I read "Straight of Hormuz" literally hundreds of times here in the forum so I was almost believing it was correct
  11. Thanks a lot.
  12. Btw it is possible to edit a title, just act like you want to edit the first post and there you go. You might want to change "Jaggel", too.
  13. Mit oder ohne Damage Model?
  15. +1 Even the performance over Berlin in VR rocks. It's almost unbelievable how they draw so many objects so many times per second. I'm not a heli guy but flying along the entire Berlin Wall in an Apache was the most impressive sight and feeling I had in DCS. Living that part of history from that point of view is a gift. Thank you so much Ugra and of course ED too! Can't wait to see phase 2 and 3 (and 4, 5...some day? )
  16. keybind for active pause has moved to the GUI-Layer section of the settings. It's not in the aircraft settings anymore for quite some time. IIRC you find the keybinds for time acceleration, deceleration and reset there, too.
  17. I just took a flight in an Apache along the entire Berlin Wall and I am overwhelmed with emotion. UGRA did a fantastic job so far. I leave it to others to find all those spots that are missing details (which is not a bad thing). I enjoyed every second of the ride.
