  1. Seems to be recalled correctly (as far as the picture is concerned. I'm not sure this is a ARC-164V though) Here is a zoomed screenshot from the F-4E pre-order announcement trailer @5:13
  2. What about configuring the key to a repeat-key-as-long-as-it-is-depessed-functionality? i.e. you just press and hold it till you have ejected, no matter if the system recognised exactly all 3 presses. Would also avoid unintended ejection by hitting it once/for a very short period of time.
  3. Some reasons can be found here: I'm a big fan of the idea of using in game voice chat. It still needs work but it's on the right track.
  4. Sehr leicht wär sie gegen ne Su-27 zu tauschen
  5. For comparison. It's 9 months old: And 2.9 edit: the FOV is pretty different and the camera at the beginning of the older video seems to be a bit misleading.
  6. Just a hint to investigate the burn time: Destroy a vehicle Enabe active pause Take a look at the mission clock Use time acceleration till fire stops I haven't experienced unlimited burn times myself, but if there is an issue with some special units, please try this suggestion and provide a track if you see that kind of issue.
  7. That comes from the Joint Electronics Type Designation System https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joint_Electronics_Type_Designation_System
  8. Well you can't "transfer" modules from Steam to Standalone anymore. This change happend several years ago. You can link (and unlink) your Steam account to Standalone version, to decide whether to use one of them at a time. AFAIK there is a certain delay of time for the link and/or unlink process but don't know the details.
  9. Just to clarify, I'm on the Eagle Dynamics store and it still says: "Key features of the Heatblur Simulations DCS: F-4E Phantom II include: The simulation of both the DCSG and DMAS equipped -E variants, the DMAS version and early DCSG versions following later during the Early Access period." Link: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/de/shop/modules/phantom/
  10. You guys are aware that the ED store description for the F-4E still has the incorrect info? "Key features of the Heatblur Simulations DCS: F-4E Phantom II include: The simulation of both the DCSG and DMAS equipped -E variants, the DMAS version and early DCSG versions following later during the Early Access period."
  11. Is the F-14B the only DCS module of yours with this controller binding for gear down?
  12. that sounds great and a bit scary at the same time. After the mission, will there be a technical debriefing, so we can see the system's condition? I mean, we all need to know whether stange things with the aircraft are caused intentionally by this new wear and tear system or by software-related bugs (i.e DCS's or Heatblur's).
  13. ok, the comms menue and the rearm/refuel menue have two different key bindings. You need the "\" e.g. for repairs, wheel chocks, ext. power... You know that, I guess. You can't open the rearm/refuel window on airports that are not the same coalition as yours. That's all what comes to my mind regarding that issue. Sorry. Maybe a short track replay could be of help!?
  14. damit keine Diskussionen entstehen, könnten wir uns darauf einigen, dass wir es schade finden aber es Heatblur nicht übel nehmen?
  15. thanks. are you aware that MP srever admins determine whether or not easy comms can be used, and most of the servers I saw have easy comms set to off. But I don't know of any settings that prohibit the use of "\" on the ground.
  16. Yeah, lots of threads with this "issue". I wish ED renamed the "\" key to "ground comms/easy comms" or something similar to end this confusion.
  17. Yes, Heatblur confirmed a Naval F-4 comming later to DCS.
  18. Thanks so much for the F-4E! Still can't believe what we're about to get. Totally impressed by today's live stream and the innovations the Phantom will bring to DCS.
  19. wow... lots of brand new stuff for DCS or any sim out there. take my.... whatever...
  20. jo.
