  1. Agreed. I just tried it and got the same problem.
  2. Gotcha, couldn't quite make it out in the picture. Was this a hot start mission?
  3. Check the 'chart light' dial.
  4. Probably because it's a different aircraft?! I'm guessing it's not that it couldn't, it's that you shouldn't.
  5. I own both VKB and Virpil offerings. Both good sticks, and probably personal preference which one you'd like best. Both nice and precise.
  6. Hmm. Not sure about Virpil selling a twist stick. VKB had a bolt on module planned to add a twist axis to their gunfighter sticks https://vkbcontrollers.com/?p=7363 That was over a year ago though.
  7. :shocking: What were you using before?! It must have been bad! A VKB or Virpil stick would blow your mind  I'm glad you liked it. Maybe your friend has one of the better ones? Mine was awful and was glad to be rid of it. Couldn't recommend it at all.
  8. It's based on the wings being locked/unlocked, rather than their folded status. Subtle difference, but thought I'd point it out.
  9. No. lucky-hendrix is correct. Radials are always given from mag north whatever the ship's course.
  10. 250 for 55 should mean the carrier is 250 degrees and 55mn from your current position.
  11. Sure, but turbulence doesn't make you only roll in one direction only or the other does it. That's how I read the OPs post (rightly or wrongly).
  12. Kinda. When this happens to me, the rudder is off, but everything is centred (including rudder and rudder trim). You're right that it can be corrected, but it's still strange. Assuming this is what's happening to the OP of course.
  13. No it isn't, and don't be so dismissive. I occasionally get this too, the cause is an off centre rudder (as shown on FCS page) when spawning. My hardware is fine (centred) and so is the trim. I'm not sure why it happens, but it doesn't happen frequently so I re-trim and ignore it. No, wind doesn't work that way. An aircraft moves with the airmass in which it flies, with only ground track being effected. Takeoff/landing and windsheer being exceptions, but that's not relevant here.
  14. Oh sorry, since it's off topic I thought you needed that explaining to you.
  15. They said no such thing, and you've broken a forum rule with your first post.
  16. Can someone explain the use/purpose of the DLY1/DLY2 views?
  17. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3679744&postcount=86 I'm going to try the Wags mission. Hopefully it'll work.
  18. Yes. The wing position isn't actually important, it's just whether they're locked or not. From the manual:
  19. It's a hold when the wings are locked, toggle when they're not.
  20. Perhaps, but that's a totally separate issue to the one the OP raised.
  21. We squirrels are a sneaky breed.
  22. And it's happening again tomorrow, hurrah!
  23. Yes. And while it's a shame the update was delayed, remember: while ED don't often give dates, when they do they almost never miss them (at least I can't remember a time before this).
  24. You need to set it to night mode to adjust brightness. There's a switch on the right hand console. It'll turn green when night mode is active.
  25. ...after 3 1/2 years of lurking your first post is to dismiss someone's idea that has no downsides? Sigh.
