Thats what I did in the past too but its not working to well in VR So the DDI's were blurry and unreadable when exporting to my second monitor ...I fixed that by changing the following values in the MDG_strokesDefs.lua : Old: stroke_thickness = 0.8 stroke_fuzziness = 0.5 New: stroke_thickness = 0.4 stroke_fuzziness = 0.2 This worked great for that now that I'm flying in VR the DDI's are blurry again while the hud looks great ....I can make the DDI's look very good and totally readable by changing the values in the MDG_strokesDefs.lua further so they look great and readable but then the hud looks terrible and unreadable...... Does anyone know if there's a way to edit the DDI's and hud separately? If there was this would be an easy fix ....... .

Wait a minute, I seem to remember loading a mod to sharpen the text of exports to another monitor ...I wonder if that's messing with it .... Don't mind me just chatting with myself in my own thread :music_whistling:

I started flying with my Lenovo Explorer recently and have found my F-18 DDI's are blurry and washed out and not very readable ....not that way with the F-15 ...Anyone else come across this?

No just zoom in and you have to hold it or it snaps back ...

I can't say much about the 1070 but like you I wanted the higher res over the Rift .. I just got the explorer hooked up and I really like it so far ..very comfortable and light ....the flip up feature is very handy and the res is pretty good too. I can read all the gauges and text fine ...I haven't messed with settings much yet (so much to learn) but I did swap the headband cushioning from back to front and it made the sweet spot bigger and I got more FOV. Good luck ! P.S. I got mine from Wal-mart and have till march to return it ....just get one and try it ...you can always return it if it doesn't work out ...

I guess you missed this part :smilewink: Was on windows 7 Ultimate forever the only reason I went to 10 is I ordered a Lenovo explorer windows mixed reality headset to give VR a whirl . If not for that I'd still be on 7.....

figured it out ......weird issue ....Turns out The win 10 install flushed the DCS password from the game for some reason but none of my others ....DCS never prompted me for a password when I tried to open it so I had no idea ....after thinking about it for I bit I realized I must not have any DLC content available because my login is missing regardless of whether DCS is prompting me for it or not .....went into setting and reset it all and its all good .....doesn't change the fact that DCS is still the one game that frustrates me the most :)

Updated to win 10 last night now I can't connect to the DCS server to authorize for multiplayer ...Although if i run DCS updater it says I'm up to date so I assume thats connecting I'm running as admin and have run repair ....anyone else ever have this issue? All my other games connect online fine .......So essentially without being able to authorize my DLC content I have hundreds invested in a game that I can only play free content with offline .......seems legit

So I've upgraded to a Acer 38" 3840 x 1600 monitor and DCS looks awesome with it. I'm wondering if anyone has a any settings tip's for spotting contacts .....At the moment I'm running it with AA off but I'm really not sure what the best settings are at this res .....Thanks

I didn't see one .....I don't see where you could even bind it to an axis under the axis tab....

Ever since the update last night my Radar elevation carrot seems to climb straight up on it's own after a bit and the radar seems to get stuck a lot now.... Cleared out all the bindings and added my saved ones from before my update and I don't see any conflicts with anything... Anyone else?

i used to run a 32"curved 1920x1080 and recently went to a Acer XR382CQK 38”UltraWide 3840 x 1600 and it's a huge diff .....expensive but worth it ...looks amazing to me.
