Hi kobac, Is it possible to use the grass airstrip as FARP replacement and to rearm and refuel on it, if the necessary vehicles are close?

Nach dem Release der MiG21Bis hatten wir hier noch einen ehmaligen NVA MiG21 Piloten aktiv im Forum (nach "Buschi" suchen). Ich hatte mich mal länger mir ihm unterhalten und er hat auch in Beiträgen im Forum bestätigt, daß der Sound "ziemlich genau so" klingt. Nun sind Erinnerungen und Sound immer subjektiv Empfindungen die von Mensch zu Mensch variieren. Das der Sound in keinster Weise mit den Orginal übereinstimmt entspricht also erstmal der Aussage einer Einzelperson, dagegen stehen die Aussagen anderer. Über das Triggern von Soundeffekten und die Bezeichnung der Geräte kann man sich natürlich streiten und da herrscht teilweise Nachbesserungsbedarf, aber da gibt es meiner Meinung nach wichtigere Baustellen bei der MiG (wie z.B. ASP, FM, Schadensmodell ect.)

Hiermit habe ich abgefangen: Konzentriere dich einfach auf kleine Schritte und nicht auf das ganze. Suche dir ein Muster aus und lerne damit einen kleinen Abschnitt. Wenn der nicht klappt such dir einfach einen anderen. Nicht verbeissen, lernen macht Spass.

Sorry, this workaround does not help for us. We use very complex and detailed F-10 options. Simply doesn´t work. Again I wonder, why the Open Beta is not used for this trail&error releases...:mad:

I would not say it doesn´t work, but there are still some bugs, which disturb the gameplay as a kind of "multi-crew" experience. For example: -The scope of synchronization depends on when the backseater joins the seat, if he joins after start-up, his instruments and sound are not synchronized and he sits a cold dark pit while the front seat pilot is taxying to takeoff. -Sometimes the planes explodes if the planes is in an hangar when the second pilot joins. -The exhaust gas temperature gauge doesn´t work in the back seat? -Sometimes the oxygen depletes extremely fast, sometimes not -If you have for example 4 L-39 on a server with 2 pilots in every plane, the server starts to produce extreme lags (here we only tested this once and had this result, never got 8 people back to reproduce the frustrating experience) So there are issues with the multi-crew that should be addressed, but I never read somewhere that they are, that`s the pity.

The latest version I uploaded here. I didn't change anything meaningful in the code by then. You Ightfield need to tweak it here and there for your purpose.

They would not have their SR active for periods longer then necessary to aquire a picture in the first place. Then they would listen to the radios and know the MAGNUM call is the signal to pull the plug. Generally that's what the ARMs were used for. To frighten the SAM operators and to limit their picture to EWR reports by just being airborne and available. The ARMs were little effective in actually destroying the SAM sides. That was done by cluster bombs. Since we don't have real SAMs in DCS the scripts are good work around.

You could use MBots ARM script he wrote for the dynamic Caucasus Campaign. It does basically eactly this. You might need to tweak it here and there for your purpose. ARM_Defence_Script.lua

Ich denke nicht das es hier um Team A vs Team B - Gewinnen oder Verlieren geht, sondern ein Szenario nach zu spielen und daraus Erkenntnisse zu "gewinnen". @Fire: Strike oder Escorte ist uns dann egal. Wie es passt. Eventuell können wir auch GCI stellen. Hängt aber alles stark vom Termin ab. Ich z.b. bin fast nur jede zweite Woche planbar zu Hause.

Ich frage mal ob welche Lust haben LoATC zu übernehmen. Haben da zwar ATCler aber das noch nicht für GCI genutzt. Ansonsten können wir leider nur als M2000 Piloten auftreten.

Ok, sorry. You are right. So far I only had the issue that the mouse pointer remains the white arrow, which I first thought is what you are referring to. The completely disappearing mouse pointer is really a bigger issue, as I just found out.

So you are one voice, but consider that there are many other voices and I for example enjoy the the features of 1.5.5 even though there are some bugs. They could be kept in 1.5.5 OB but finally they they have to make a decision to update or not to, and they updated... For many its ok, for some its not. No reason to get excited.

In 1.5.4 und 1.5.5 ist MiG21 auf Grund des Radar Bugs sehr eingeschränkt wie ist das bei 2.0.x?

It is not only TacView. Other scripts are limited by this too. For example, in our squadron w wrote a script to track the inventory an we have to earn our weapons and planes by doing missions and contracts. Currently I cannot differentiate between MAGIC and S530D, which is a pitty. Would be great to have this fixed.

For me trading is that you give someone something and expect an return. If you borrow someone your bicycle so he can learn to ride are you considered as bicycle trader? You still paid for your bike and the guy who learnt to ride will likely buy his own bike from the retailer when he found out that it is quite good to have a bike. If I buy 10 licences at a event sale and resell them on ebay for normal price that is trading.

There should be way to temporarely give someone a licence. For example if a squaron wants to teach students via a L39 but does not want to force new students to buy the licence. So the squadron purchases the licence and gives it temporarely to the student. After he decides that he wants to continue he returns the licence to the squadron and purchases the licence on his own. ED would sell licences and squadrons could actually make a use of the trainers.
