  1. Don't know if it's still a problem with DCS but check and make sure your sample quality output for your sound card isn't above 48khz. It's generally under the Advanced tab of Speaker properties if you click on your windows audio icon and click on playback devices.
  2. I don't think it does but I use ATT for game specific profiles.
  3. well you can play it in first person and shoot frost and firebolts. :music_whistling:
  4. Believe it's north in relation to the orientation of the pods view.
  5. You can also click the Payments button and it should list your keys in the relevant payment boxes
  6. that is what we're wondering.
  7. The in game Encyclopedia of course has an entire list of all the in game munitions.
  8. As far as BS2 is concerned I don't think many people have trouble parting with $20 bucks for it. It's been more of an issue of how it was marketed so to speak. It would be like if they charged pre purchasers for the Nevada update after they said it would be free for pre purchasers. You would be pretty pissed in a way because in essence it was included with your pre purchase. Common belief as per developer statements and "Wishes" was that BS would be upgraded with every release of a module as part of the program you bought and not as a seperate program you would have to buy new with each module. Hence the reason for most of the so called "Whining". As for Nevada update It would seem silly that they wouldn't incorporate it into BS2 just like A-10C in some way. They are supposed to be compatible hence one of the reasons to purchase BS2. However I believe that Nevada is being given free to pre purchasers to somewhat make up for the fact that it wasn't ready for release with A-10C. It was intended as a feature in A-10C from retail until they realized that it would take more time to implement the features. It stands to reason then that since it's another Upgrade, that it's not really a patch for either A-10C or BS2, that you would have to buy it for both programs. I truly hope not but without any confirmation from ED it seems the most logical course of action.
  9. Looking to sell my TrackIR5 + Trackclip Pro. I'm asking $89.99 for the bundle. I'll try to get a picture up of it, it's practically brand new. I'm willing to see how much it would be to ship outside of the US but I can't guarantee I can.
  10. It depends on whether you consider customer dissatisfaction/dissent to be trouble for ED. Said with the utmost respect I might add.
  11. I actually have no agenda. You make it sound like I woke up and decided to hate ED today. I'm appalled.
  12. Pretty sure they can still see through them and you can still fly through them.
  13. Don't know if that applies for BS as well. And remember, EVERYTHING IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE!
  14. Trust me that's not why you want to read through it.
  15. No really read through the 477 posts, it's worth it.
  16. It all depends on how you write it. If you write it so that you can input Flight Model data, systems data, weapons data, avionics, etc.. It could be done. I'm not saying it wouldn't be hard, I'm not saying they could even do it now. But it could be done. It's also a better system and it was the idea they had but either they couldn't do it or they think that this is a better/easier way. I would rather pay 100 dollars up front for the sim engine and possibly 20-30 per plane than wait till the 6th so called module following this system and this logic and pay $649.79 total if every module from this point on cost $59.99 and every upgrade for the older planes cost $19.99. I'm not saying they can't do it but I am saying it's going to cost them and it's going to cost us a whole lot more. that also doesn't factor in anything for stuff like Nevada or any kind of upgrades like that. Factor that in and your looking at close to $750-900 if you wanted Nevada with every module up to the 6th assuming it's $19.99
  17. I'm guessing since it will be a payed add-on for the A-10C it will also be a payed add-on for BS2 so like Cali said $10-20.
  18. I would think it would be possible. It seems honestly like even now would be too late since they have begun development on whatever the next plane is going to be. What would really make sense is a core engine that would be the sim itself and what you buy is the flight model and the plane model and so on. Then if you had an upgrade for the engine itself it would only need to be bought once and irregardless of the planes you did own it would always be compatible and you would only need to buy the upgrade once. The way they are doing it right now is going to cost them more and us more.
  19. I don't think he's complaining about delays between modules Viper. I think what he was trying to say is that as they develop more and more modules It's going to become harder and harder for ED to keep up with taking older sims and making it compatible with the newer sims.
  20. Couldn't give you rep so +1
  21. AFAIK only BS1 is compatible.
  22. Move along as far as you want to Viper but the facts do remain whether you can see them or not.
  23. Answers in bold
  24. No but instead of releasing a clear statement to their users they instead let the idea build momentum. Also it was inferred that this upgrade would not cost money and even though the FAQ may have changed from patch to upgrade that is not a clear sign or indication that it would cost money. To be more blunt it's not like saying " Guys we are going to charge for future software compatibility upgrades". Instead they changed the wording around to more suit their needs down the road when they decided what it was they were going to do.
