  3. Little nerd nitpicking about Instant Syria: Border Patrol mission. There are three Jordan units wrongly placed on Syria side. I can clearly see why mission author automatically placed them there. Sure I punished them in my mission play Fixed it locally by moving three units behind border on the road.

  11. Seems EP-13 sight model is now "disconnected" from cable. Looks like sight has been rotated a bit and cable stays in original position. See pic. It is visible in VR. Also cockpit side walls bleeds thru fuselage when you lean out of cockpit with canopy open.
  12. I know that, it was parking for F-14, it is ordinary fighter parking. It worked at the time when I played Tanker Wars on 2.6 Anyway I decided not use this.
  13. Hmm strange. I tried and Instead D parking as defined in oob planes are spawned on E parkings.
  14. Hmm I found uncontolled flag is commented out.
  15. I think I found reason: mission missing this ["parking"] = 27, and only contains this ['parking_id'] = 'D36', what is not enough as it seems.
  16. I think static aircrafts missing uncontrolled flag - they appear "alive" with crew strapped into cockpits. How is this supposed to work please? parking_id = { ["C"] = {1,2,3,4}, }, I defined parkings for suadron and it have no effect at all. Planes spawned on different parkings.
  17. Same what Grennymaster said. Got recently Virpil WarBRD base with F-14 grip and absolutely love it in compared to TM Warthog stick base. There is no more center play friction and stick deflection is smooth as silk over center compared to Warthog. Don't get me wrong, I love Warthog HOTAS as I used it as my entry into DCS and I think Warthog Throttle is one of best. Just Virpil/VKB bases with real gimbal is next level in sticks. TM Warthog / Hornet grips are bit better in quality and materials in my opinion and mate them with Virpil base is ultimate solution for me. As bonus you can use your Warthog grip with Virpil base so you only need buy WarBRD base and done. I will keep Warthog Throttle as it is great. VKB is not compatible with TM grips out of box and you need extra adapter. Also with Virpil WarBRD base I recommend get their 5cm extenison if you plan use it with table or other mount to have stick between legs. For desktop usage you can go without extension. All this is just my personal preference, your mileage can vary.
  18. Take your time, I am very grateful for help. I got pure Air2Air attrition war working now. Just enabled only CAPs for player now as Intercepts doesn't work yet. Works pretty well so far. Idea is air attrition war where Iraq wants decimate Iran Tomcat numbers. Campaign starts with high altitude Mig-25 intrusion and next mission whole Iraq AF starts violating Iran airspace.
  19. Perfect thanks a lot for integrating this. I tested CAP, Fighter Sweep and both works reasonably well. Just Intercept task always ends always in "No eligible player flight in 20 attempts". Here is my testing environment for test intercept. Player is set only to Intercept and enemy sq is always Fighter Sweep. Looks like it is last problem that prevent pure AA campaign. MyCamp2.ZIP About that reported bugs, I will keep eye on them but probably it was result of my always "bending" player flight into pure AA roles.
  20. Thanks a lot for your time and effort guys. I used base mission and briefing lua and it works like charm. Will this change interfere somehow with original DCE idea or it will be incorporated as regular update please? I think it can fix some campaign stall bugs.
  21. I see PB0_CEF, now I understand why I had such a problems with DCE campaigns. I just went to point where no strikes can be generated as I always edited player squadron to do only A2A tasks and engine was stuck on player flight assignment or raised other error. For me it works opposite than it should. Engine should always generate player flight and when it is not possible it should end campaign is some sane manner. Something is inside out in ATO generation. I just set two opposing squadrons with one with CAP or Sweep task and other with CAP and Intercept and it should normally generate those flights until end campaign is triggered - I am missing such triggers in my campaign but it is not a problem here at first mission of campaign. In debug i see both my and enemy flights are generated but it fails allocate player and I don't understand why.
  22. I don't want strike flights, want just Air 2 Air action. Simple task for beginning, trying setup two opposing squadrons that fight each other. If this is limitation of engine then it makes sense now I was not able to finish any DCE campaign as it always later ended with this issue or other crash caused strike planes was out on one or both sides. I think it is fundamentally wrong. Engine should generate mission to player always. then generate world around it. Anyway thanks for explanation and as I see engine can't handle such a simple A2A scenario I am trying to do as first step I am abandoning my idea. Now all problems I encountered during my DCE plays make sense.
