Did you modified your DCS MissionScripting.lua per readme.txt please? To enable campaign persistence, comment out following lines in the file \scripts\MissionScripting.lua inside your DCS game/DCS server install. --sanitizeModule('os' ) --sanitizeModule('io' ) --sanitizeModule('lfs' ) --require = nil It is only reason I can think of why campaign doesn't work. Please show me your MissionScripting.lua and dcs.log maybe there is some other problem. Also where did you placed missons? They must be in Missions folder root.

Yes I need virtual Shiraz as tankers are spawned parked into C-130. Well I tested it with elevation 2400 and still got despawned on shiraz. Just at lower alt. I do not know how this works It do not make sense to me why it despawn Acs that do not belongs to that virtual base. So I do not know how to fix that tankers problem. bah. It was so cool campaign. Also I think this alt trick maybe stops player despawn but it also break despawn for Tankers and thats whole purpose of this virtual airbases I added. Can you please point me in code where is this despawning? i will try look so I will understand it.

So set elevation for Bandar Abbas to 1000 and Shiraz to 2400? Bandar has elevation of 6m and Shiraz 1485m on the map.

Yeah, confirmed. Just flew mission and I got despawned near my home base. No damage. So it must be that fake bases I added over real ones. Here is tacview: http://prekladytextu.eu/DCS/Tacview.zip BTW I solved this in one of my missions by adding despawn script at last group waypoint. Here is demo: Delete at waypoint test.miz So what I need to do? Think about fix tankers problem in different way or you are on track to fix this despawn bug? I think fake airbase should only despawn it's own spawned flights right? Nothing else

I removed them and made new version only MiG-21 vs MiG-21 for balance reasons and for story - It is air clash only between Abkhazian and Georgian air forces that are very limited in equipment. This version is without foreign help of Turkish F-5 or Russian Mig-29. Aim was to balance both sides for player MP. Helicopters was removed as they do not survive until enemy air force is eliminated. Simply this is pure MiG-21 campaign. For helicopters I am preparing new separate campaign.

Nah it was always on way back to my base Shiraz Intl. Near base I got always despawned. It happened twice and I was always damaged but still airworthy. No track recorded. After I saw your question maybe I caused it with my fix as I added two fake airstart airbases for tankers on the coordinates of Shiraz Intl and Bandar Abbas Intl? Maybe it is not tied to damaged status and it will happen always. I will retest. In that case my fix is not good. One interesting bug about that deleting aircrafts I think. My Tomcat got damaged and I got despawned when I was back near to home base at certain alt.

Thanks Miguel21. I have question please. How those fake air start airbases works? Spawned flights will be deleted when they reach last "landing" waypoint over fake airbase or they simply revert to default DCS behavior and simply fall out of fuel or try reach closest neutral airbase? Later will be pretty bad for attrition record keeping.

Flying great IRIAF Tanker War DCE campaign and find bug where Iran tankers are blocking runways on airbases that are not able to accomodate tankers as parked aircrafts. Fixed it by setting tankers to airstart fake airbases. http://prekladytextu.eu/DCS/IRIAF_Tanker_War_tankers_fix.zip Replace files in init folder

Campaign devs are aware of this and they said it will be handled better in next update. It has something to do how is return waypoints done for AI. Same for me, after successful CAPs and SEADS nearly all my squadron dies. Row of radio ejecting messages at the end is so bizarre -
Another feedback batch. Some unit placement should be reconsidered to more flat areas. Those armor and shilkas looks strange on such slopes. Blue "fake" ground units that are used to mark CAP zones should be set to late activation - if it still makes zones visible in planner or deleted after mission start. For now they ride CAP zone borders in 3d deep in enemy territory. Also it will be nice to have F10 view option forced to FOG OF WAR instead ALL. As last I have bug when I hear AWACS bogey reports even before authenticate.

Decided to put together some feedback after some play. Overall it is great idea and campaign is very atmospheric with all chatter during missions. What noticed: There is some leftover tip Misleading flight callings. In the instructions You are told Phoenix 11 and during missions you are Colt 1-1 - it cost me some time to realize first during AWACS authentication that they ask COLT 11 and that's me. Better to use DCS callings that you gave to flights instead Phoenix. Maybe it is too late to change cos voice overs. Com1 and Com2 preset plans are somewhat jumbled. I had 305 on com1-1 and 124.40 on com2-1 Next, in the mission when I got message from HQ that air threat was eliminated (I flew CAP with other three AI packages and I left last one as SEAD) AI pilots starts randomly die for no reason. Looks like they hit terrain or whatever on the way back. My own wingman crashed near boat during my own landing. It looks stupid and breaks immersion after successful mission you just hear series of eject messages in row. This probably goes to DCS AI and nothing can be done about it. Next, It is very unclear to me what Strike task do when I assign it to AI package. What they will strike? Do not take me wrong. I love concept and feel of this campaign. I love dynamic or procedural stuff. Take this as small nitpicking feedback in hope this awesome campaign will eventually be better. Thanks for great product. I do not regret buying it.
