I was spectating an F-15 fight the other day when one of those guys did the "yank back, full rudder, brake" thing they all do, and saw 25 Gs for a couple of seconds.

Is the server down? I know it was having some problems yesterday with rubber-banding and disconnections, but I don't even see it in the server list now. :(

Sadly, that's the norm around here. That, guns on the merge (first pass), multiple people piling on one individual for an easy kill when there are several others left unengaged...frustrating to say the least. But yeah, getting shot while on short final and/or on the ground is so cheap. That's the only way some of the guys can get a kill it seems. However, when you get people in there that don't do that stuff, it's an absolute blast of a server! :thumbup:

Do you guys know if it's possible to have any fuel tank text displayed ONLY on the centerline spot? Is there a Lua to edit somewhere? And, if so, could you point me to the proper line? Thanks!

I think you'll get a lot more, and better advice (than mine!) in the PC Hardware section. I am NOT a computer whiz by any means, but I did research a lot to build mine this last winter. Just looking at that, the CPU doesn't seem very fast if it's not over-clockable. I'm not familiar with the chip- there's no "K" designation, so don't think you can OC it. Also, 8GB of RAM is low. Will DCS run on 8? I was thinking it was 16GB min. The GPU is also on the low end of things, but I don't know enough to comment on how it'll run DCS. Honestly man, I would go to the Hardware forum and have some guys spec out a build for you. You may be able to get a bit more "bang-for-buck" by building yourself instead of buying a pre-built. Here is a quick demo mission I made for you. It has a working FARP (rearm/refuel), a Pickzone for troops, and a Warehouse (logistic) for crate spawning. Hope that helps! CTLD_demo.miz

Do you have this set to False?? ctld.hoverPickup = false -- if set to false you can load crates with the F10 menu instead of hovering... Only if not using real crates! Don't know if you can name a FARP as logistic, but I've never tried. I just use the warehouse, or water tanks. I've never used "cratespawn" that I can recall. Setting that above script line to "False" should enable crate spawning from the F10 menu w/o the need to hover. Of course, if you simply can't even spawn a crate to begin with, then not sure what's wrong.
