  1. Awesome! Thank you so much for all your tests and work on this, proves it is still 8nm as it was before, I wonder what we were doing wrong to only get a 5nm range, could be a buddy’s lase thing
  2. So how did you get around that? Double up the profile and rename it?
  3. Hi guys, looking for some clarification and a bit of more up to date knowledge. what is the range of any given laser designator? and how do we use this range correctly? (altitude, angle, distance etc) https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/184824-max-range-on-tpod-for-buddy-lase/?do=findComment&comment=3688018 this forum post was from 2018 and states that it’s an 8nm stick of light and anywhere in that beam Is fine, is this still the case? Or have things changed? in our tests we have found that buddy lase or self designate anything over 5nm distance to target (not altitude or lateral distance but actual direct line distance) and the bomb goes stupid Anybody have any deeper idea or understanding of the current state of laser range and designation? cheers guys
  4. Wonderful thank you so much! You have made my day, and made the job of making the gear handle a bit more manageable! Thank you
  5. awesome thank you so much for your information! what you have said lines up with what I had expected to be the case. just to be super clear and accurate, at what point does it pull out on the picture below? if I'm reading your post right the inner tube rotates and then extends out from the outer at point '1' in the image below. is this correct? the reason I ask is that in game it currently rotates and extends out from point '2' as seen below which just dose not look right as the thing that switches the hyd isol switch down as you drop the gear handle is just floating in space below the whole assembly and i doubt that it drops down in diameter after point 2 as you said though, about an inch or 2 is right for the pull, makes sense aswell if if all that pull does is "crack" the nitrogen bottle valve in the front gear bay to blow the gear down again thank you for your time and information on this
  6. Hi there, quick question... I’m about to start the process of making myself a f14 landing gear handle, I’ve read the natops, watched all the videos I can find and ofcorse looked at the animations in game and I just wanted to double check before I start building that the animations are correct. the natops says it push in hard then rotate 90 degrees clockwise then pull with 55 pounds of force to activate the emergency blow, I’m not worried about the push in or 90 degree part what I need to know is that is where the handle animates pulling out from the panel/base is correct and is the distance it is pulled out correct? any feedback is massively appreciated, especially any from real world experience! thanks in advance guys, cheers
  7. Wonderful thank you for clearing this up for me I will have to refine my approach to finding the targets! is there a maximum/minimum range that a target can be designated as the point?
  8. Hi guys I was wondering if there was a list or if we could make a list of weapons that can be dropped in CCRP in the cat im not sure if they can all be used or not, sometimes when I’m using weapons like the mk20 I switch to CCRP and it won’t let me mark the point, no matter what the range, this also seems to happen for the laser guided bombs, how ever if I use the mak82s there’s no issue at all, am I doing something wrong or are there weapons that won’t work with ccrp?
  9. Hey =Andre= are you able to help me understand how the limiting compressor works and how to use it correctly? I found in the manual what it does but not how to use it
  10. Decided to cut my losses and just load “summer - clear skies no wind” preset for weather. recommend you do the same, I will address this in an upcoming release of the mission. Making final tweaks now, testing as I go anything else you want done?
  11. I forgot about this post until I overloaded jessy again, I’ll try get it on video soon
  12. bugger. I was hoping there may be a single model way to do it, oh well, I can allways just note down the settings then quickly reset them :) thanks for your help and this epic program
  13. I know your all busy as heck getting this to work for us, and I love this program, it’s the missing link for the game that’s for sure, any word on a way to copy settings from aircraft to aircraft? Can I do it within a script somewhere? Is this a feature that may be added? again thank you a thousand times for this program, your work is massively appreciated
  14. I’ll take a look, but as far as I can remember it’s either the default it was on or a leftover from an earlier version. I’ll take a look and re up it here if needs be
  15. So recently I’ve been spending a bit more time in this beast. And there’s a strange problem effecting it I’m not sure what causes it, but it’s annoying as hell. When you get in the Huey, hot or cold start it don’t matter it’s fine for your first aircraft if you then restart in sp, grab a new one in sp or get into a new one in multiplayer the issue starts. Basically heaps of the switches just start flipping them selves, some don’t but most do, it basically renders the huey completely in flyable. it’s all the main switches involved in operation and starting of the Huey and they just keep cycling over and over and over again Manually resetting the switches does nothing. getting a new Huey in any way shape or form doesn’t stop it hot start or cold start it does not matter. the only thing I have been able to do that seems to stop it is get into a different aircraft completely in mp really not sure what it is, but it’s easily repeatable, happens regularly to me
  16. Is there a way to copy one aircrafts settings to another aircraft? Because I have one aircraft set up perfectly and I just can’t be bothered manually setting up all of them to be the same
  17. Nope. Not on discord lol, what was discussed?
  18. Will the a10c2 be supported as an option for cockpits and will the capt zeen a10c profile work for it?
  19. ok, I'm a bit confused, so helios is already doing the basic gauges? it's not working in single or mp, does anyone have a howto? seeing it in the changelog is good but doesn't help me, I'm all good with the viewports, that bit I have done, it's getting the gauges to work that I need some help with please forgive my ignorance
  20. I’m not sure if you have all ready figured this out or not but here’s how I did it. Make a copy of the background file, gots ya have ya backups! open paint3d... yes paint 3D, it worked for me. set the background (canvas) to transparent then open up the copy of the background (you can also just open it up and the. Change the canvas to transparent) remove the area you want to make transparent (select and cut or erase or what ever) save the file, make sure your saving it as a file type that handles transparency, png, or what ever Over in the profile area go to the background file and save change it to the new file. done. ofcorse, of your really clever you can use a real editing program And mess around with alpha layers and fades etc I am not this clever, and never will be so I used paint. here's a screenshot of it running on my desktop after doing the procedure above,
  21. Bit of a weird question is it possible to make a generic cockpit up that will work with any aircraft? So that I can have all the custom ones but when I’m flying one that dose not have a custom pit I can still have the basics? Ie, altitude, speed, bearing, rwr, mfcds etc?
  22. Awesome thanks a bunch!
  23. not sure if it can be exported yet, I've asked on there forum page, hoping for a quick reply
  24. any word on if the radar can be exported yet?
  25. can you post the file, please? i would love to do an a4 panel but i just don't have the time, it would be a big help if you could :) i know its a big ask, but I'm sure others would appreciate it too
