  1. Oh boy, even modular so it will fit thrue doors. So nice. I wait for the phantom and then deceide which road I want to follow. Still dreaming of a full sim pit, even so I envy LASooner for his deskpit. Sadly I currently don't have enough room to go that road. The full pit I could assemble in my shop and as soon as it is done I need to kick one off the kids out of the house and conquer the room. If I kick both, I can have a F-14 and a F-4 pit. Kids, come down please.... daddy need to talk to you.
  2. He shows you the gross weight, which you would have to acknowledge from what I get. This figure is used to dial in the cat. Oh, and I see a green shirt. (all just hearsay, don't know for sure)
  3. I made myself a Voice Attack command. Ready, Rodger, Yes sir and a bunch of other end up pressing shift for me.
  4. For the Tac Turns, I did it as we do it in our group. Flying out either with 11 AOA or fly it to keep the speed as where it was starting the turn. Throttle to mil power.
  5. That looks sexy, well done. For me, your plans are fine. If I ever decide to build me a new set of controls (the current one is just held together by hot glue and some desperation - it's a prototype), I will change the trigger design anyhow. So whatever you want to do, I'm fine with it.
  6. The thing is, everyone knows how bad the AI is to perform well in tasks, that requires some "common sense." For example, in the group I fly in, I also, as in the campaign, don't need lead to announce a turn, but he starts easy to give me time to react and tightens up in the process. The AI just do 100% instantly with some added <profanity> (hitting AB or stuff). During the course of time one is able to adapt, but only so far. The problem now, induced by you, Reflected, is, everything is perfect, one is completely immersed (at least me in my VR world) and suddenly the instructor does crazy <profanity>. That gets me out of this "I'm there, I'm doing this" daydream, which make me cuss and yell at poor Paco, perfectly well knowing it is well in the limits of "the game". In case I did not make myself clear, it was a huge compliment to Reflected for putting me "in there" and some bit.hing about the AI. One just expect everything to be perfect, even so the technological base is not just there yet and thus be unhappy about being dragged out of the situation. It is the gaming the game part that I don't like, I already have enough to do to understand the instructions, comprehend them, and then, the hardest part, get the virtual plane where it is supposed to be. So, if I get bad grades, I know I screwed up. If I get bad grades and cuss, I know I screwed up, but wish that the base game would get better to keep me into my little world and not gaming the game, in addition to the already hard task at hand. Just my 2¢
  7. One last time, cussing, laughter and tears, and then it is all over. One more time to cuss about Paco's (actually the stupid AI) formation skills, one more time of hard laughter with Chig, and a secret little tear about the warm welcome a true naval hero receives, and then it is over. This is by far the best SP Campaign I ever played. Usually it is hard for me to do all missions, because I lose interest very quick, but not here. Man, will I miss all these characters and the unsat grading due to over-g. But rest assure, I will keep on returning to the RAG Missions to get gut. Thank you Reflected for this marvel.
  8. Take a look. That thing has already some decent throw, paired with a 20cm extension it comes close to what you looking for. https://discord.gg/Vm7s6qFx
  9. It has. You put in a screw and no more twist.
  10. Are you using XRNecksafer? If so, disable it.
  11. That was a pain in the butt. Those pesky 21s...One realy has to hold on the head on shot. I did the mission a couple of times (first was actually the best, but I ran out of fuel because it took me some time to tangle these MIGs) and they never hit. I was a little confused what has to be happening after the Report of the SA-5 being up and Paco doing some "fancy flying" in the hold, so I deceidet to go for myself. Looks like the Triggers fired anyway, because he fell into trail and the rest of the mission came together as intended, I believe. Again I was very short on fuel, so I really would have appreciated a recovery tanker. 1 - 2000 lbs would have been enough to make it back save and sound, but since I did not had that luxury, I had to be inventive to bring the plane back. Maybe think of adding an tanker. One note: I skipped the first part of the mission. I cheatet a little and used time acceleration to get into the hold without spending half an hour, since I was running out of time. Cudos to Reflected, all the triggers worked.
  12. Since I had to fly the mission a couple of times, for different reasons, I took the time to let autostart set up the Jet, and meanwhile took a look at the beehive, called flight deck. I like what Reflected did there, to immerse us in the life of a Navy member, looks great, even so the AI does her thing to screw up. Looking forward to the new S-3, the current model is just too outdated

  13. Just did it on MT, but guess St will be the same. Everytime the Emergency Store Jettison is pressed the "separation" Sound is played, regardless if there are stores left.
  14. Paco's ears must be ringing. I found some very graphic words in different languages for him, sitting there and looking at me how I did burn all my fuel to get that stupid MIG. At the end I could not make it back, mostly due to that second tasking. All my objections went unheared. Would have been tight otherwise as well.
  15. Not my best performance, but I came back in one piece. Guess that is all that counts. Recovery was kind of messy....lots of stuff flying around - but it is possible I misunderstood Chig again.
  16. Known issue - as per patch note
  17. VKB "can" support TM grips but you have to get a adaptor and mount it inside the grip. I will always buy a VKB again, but you limit the choices of grips, or have to work around the proprietary design. It is doable, but mostly not plug and play.
  18. Geez, that was something
  19. If I'm completely honest, I could not find them. After two circles I gave up frustrated , but not without calling Chig all the names I could come up with. That's the only grief I have with this campaign. Even so it is very nice how Chig is scripted, it is still that, a script. It would be so great to do this as a multicrew, but I also understand why it won't happen.
  20. I came from a VKB GF3 with F-14 Grip. Now I use the Rhino FFB with that grip. Out of this world.
  21. I have no idea what went wrong there. I think I did not do anything wrong. I did the same mission twice, because on the first try, where both bombs found their mark, I did not find the carrier. That's why I especially payed attention for signs of an borked INS in the second try. I might opt for 13 (wonder what else is to come). That mission gave me a huge headache but I think it is very challenging.
  22. The goods and the others ....
  23. We had this before in our online group where, during startup, the carrier took a turn into the wind, and we were puzzled why 3 our of 4 Tomcats had a faulty INS alignment. I'm not sure if it is the turn or if the bumping during turns is back. The chief is constantly complaining "hey, what are you doing" during the turn and I just sort of sit there with my hands in the lap. ED fixed this bumps a couple of patches ago, not sure if it is back. With delaying startups there were problems in other campaigns, but since you suggested it, it seems no problems are expected. Will there be more missions with a turn during startup coming up?
  24. Here we go, I'm now a full blown Naval Aviator. Nothing can stop me now, can't it? We will see....
  25. I guess I know now why I wasn't able to find the carrier. The waypoint (HB and MAN) is around 20 Miles in front of the Carrier Group, while it should be roughly 40 miles behind. The reason for it, I believe, is the ships turn for Pacos start, while oneself is still aligning the INS. With the first engagement of the Flankers it is already apparent that the own position is roughly like 10 miles or so off, compared to the Link position of the enemy fighters. This might accumulate up to 20 Miles during the mission. I did a autostart, in order to not screw anything up in the startup. As soon as YouTube is done, I post the play-trough video as reference.
