I'm from Germany too and my main interest lays in the F-14, but lately I developed an interest in the Viggen. Currently my knowledge of the airplane is VERY limited but I had some fun with it in public server doing a pre planned attack using the (forgot the name...sitting at the beach and reseted my brain).......tool. You should read and understand the whole post hb made. Yes, they improved chaff resistance for all aim-54 but declared in the same post, that it is a interim solution until Ed figured out the new msl model to be then toned down again. Did you read also that the aim 54 isn't worth anything in the moment due to the F-14 radar being bent and this not being fixed in the next patch. Oh, there are some aim 54 guiding problems too. Guess not, otherwise you wouldn't wine about your conspiracy. Maybe I should claim that the Russian developers sabotage the western planes. Yeap, as silly as your claim. Said that I would be more than happy to get my hands on some decent eastern planes. Got the Fishbed and will for sure will get the Flogger. Would love a Fencer and Fitter as well...... Cut it out, please. Repeating, over and over again the suspected parameters is tiring. Even if airbreaking is not possible with the heatblur marvel, I wouldn't care less. My goal is to, someday, manage the landing consistently adhering to the SOP. If somebody figures that belly landing wouldn't be so demanding on the hook..... be my guest and train it for yourself. Die Hind(s) waren nach der Wende wohl bei der WTD 61 in Manching. Kann mich noch gut daran erinnern als ich auf "Wochenend" Heimfahrt war und ich auf der Autobahn dachte dass sich mein Auto anfängt zu zerlegen, da ein wummerndes Geräusch immer lauter wurde. Dann sind zwei von den Dingern relativ tief über die Autobahn. Extrem respekteinflößend, vor allem a sie kurz vorher noch einer der Haupt- "Bedrohungen" in meinem Job war und keiner so recht wusste was dagegen zu tun war (Stinger gab es noch nicht in der Fläche). Lately I crashed my Viggen due to unsafe flying. Guess what, nothing happend to me. Conclusion: it is safe to be unsafe in Dcs. Will try on other airframes as well and report back. (that was ironic, if in doubt) :rolleyes: Gesendet von meinem LYA-L29 mit Tapatalk

I believe that both items complement each other very well. I turn my butt kicker off during late hours flights, due to shaking the whole house, which is not very appreciated by my family, and find something missing. I had the same. What I do (won't work for you in the moment), I keep a copy of a working voice attack / vaicom install. Had after the last update the problem that jester won't work any more, couldn't figure out why, replaced the broken install with the copy, updated and was back in business. Since the 07-15 Update the CB doesn't pop any more but for me the 109 and the 190 A8 is no longer recognised by vaicom. No chance to contact anybody (Wingman, ATC etc...) via VAICOM. Since this happend AFTER the update, I assume ED changes something for the warbirds. Could someone confirm ?

Meine Brille ist leider gerade in der Reparatur, sie fehlt mir so. Ich habe eine ähnliche Geschichte wie ihr, bei mir fing es mit einem selbst programmierten "flight sim" auf dem Sinclair ZX81 an, dann ging es ähnlich wie bei euch weiter. Bin auch erst seit Anfang des Jahres dabei und habe mir der VR Brille endlich einen Kindheitstraum erfüllt. Jetzt fehlt nur noch ein wenig hardware um nicht andauernd in der Luft nach irgendwelchen Schaltern meiner F 14 zu suchen, sieht affig aus (man hat mich heimlich gefilmt). Denke ich werde demnächst mal anfangen zumindest die rechte Konsole in einfach nachzubauen bzw entsprechende Schalter zu montieren. Es ist doch immer was.... Gesendet von meinem LYA-L29 mit Tapatalk

I almost s_it my pants, using the wwheel while in VR. I'm suffer from some fear of hights and the plane suddenly disapering under you isn't exactly fun

I just have to say thank you for fixing the lighting. Just for a quick test I hoped in a night mission and stayed there for an hour, just switching between the two office spaces and enjoying the new lighting in VR. As a butcher method (I actually have no idea About anything Software related" couldn't the "Salut" command be interceptet + X Sec - launch - x sec (dunno how Long the shot last) end of launch?
