  1. @stingray77, by all means, keep us posted :-). I'm currently fondling with the idea of getting the VKB F-14 grip for my Warthog, but this kind of issue could be a no-no.
  2. Kinda want to bump this and hope to have an answer from ED.
  3. I've already repored several bugs with the F-14 and SC (not this one, though), and ED don't seem to give a sh*t about it, never got an answer.
  4. Strange that it only happens if you start with a delay, though. Hope this can be solved someday.
  5. Hey folks, apologies if this has been reported before: When spawning hot on a parking spot on the carrier, if the start is delayed by even 1 second, the nose is kneeled and launch bar extended. This is happening with both F-14A and B, on the Stennis and Supercarriers.
  6. Hello folks, So I hoped the new update would fix some of the F-14 LSO bugs, but I can confirm this is not the case: - F-14A: Once hooked onto the catapult shuttle, deck crew gives signal to raise the launch bar, same as with the F-18. This signal should not be given. - LSO still not correctly calibrated and constantly advise you as being slow when on AOA, for both A and B. - IFLOS not calibrated for the F-14A and B, still showing a ball that's too low and will grant you a 1 or 2 wire even if perfectly centered and not sinking.
  7. Monkie, a bit late to the party here, but any way you could share your skins for the Sea King? I'm working on a couple 80's missions with the F-14A and would love to replace the Sea Hawks with the Sea King!
  8. Agreed! Maybe this could be setup as an option?
  9. Except for the A, this still hadn't been fixed yet.
  10. Again, I completely fail to understand how this is not a priority. Light wands are vital for night ops, it's impossible to see the ground crews without them or without using the NVGs. But ED prefers developing things that are not essential to the gameplay, like the ready rooms...
  11. If you're on or above glidepath, but sinking, or with a too high AOA/low speed, that could be normal?
  12. No, the IFLOS overlay is the issue. Honestly, you wouldn't want missing out the most immersive module just for that!
  13. Doesn't kill immersion if you get rid of the IFLOS overlay and use your eyeball to spot the IFLOS on the deck, which shows correct line
  14. 100% agreed on this! It's pretty ridiculous we have to use the NVG on the deck at night. Ready Room/Air Boss decks are all nice additions of course, but not having them doesn't detract from the gameplay. Having to turn your NVG on to be able to see the signals for the crew does...
  15. This is only a minor distraction and doesn't detract anything from the F-14. Just make sure to be on AoA despite what the LSO is saying, keep the ball high (as in upper half of the IFLOS) and use the F-14 built-in trap sheet instead of the LSO quotation. The F-14 is by far the most immersive module in the game. If you want to go for it, do not be stopped by the minor SC flaws.
  16. What's the reason behind this?!
  17. Operation Reforger, mission 5 launch: Damned weather... Weather clearing, and we're off!
  18. Bumping this thread, I'm tired of getting slow calls and grades when I'm on speed with the F-14 as well as as incorrect IFLOS. I have the feeling the SC module doesn't get the love it deserves from the devs at the moment...
  19. Personally, I wouldn't mind at all, and at least we'll have a really nice looking live carrier. The vanilla Stennis looks really bland once you are using the SC module .
  20. Same here, with a shaved AB detent. Here's what I'm using, let me know if this helps:
  21. What's the throttle you are using? But yeah I concur, there is something like a "surge" around the middle somewhere.
  22. Greg, what's the curve you are using? I had to modify mine to get as close as possible to 1:1 to avoid this.
  23. So, in case of battle damage and hydraulic loss on one of the circuit, best way to prevent total hydraulic loss would be to turn the hydraulic transfer pump off, then switching the hydraulic isolation switch to flight?
