DCS works just awesome on Win7x64, so why I have to sell myself to slavery to MS for nothing?

Sorry for that. :) As far as I know - in W10, once you click "Accept EULA": - there is a lot of your personal data coming out from your PC to some mystical servers belong to MS (and some unknown "third parties trusted by MS"), and you can't turn this off legally. And even you'll do this - MS have everything to override your blocking efforts anytime. - MS will got rights to change anything in WIN10 using AutoUpdate if they decide to do so. One day your hardware can just stop working, like it happen lately with some joysticks over here. One day your software can just stop working as well. - MS will got rights and all possibilities even to delete any software on your PC if they think it's "inappropriate". Without asking anything. Same AutoUpdate will deliver this patch to your PC silently. -you can't completely disable AutoUpdate anyhow, except killing AutoUpdate at all (and this will cease some other things). - your PC can just reboot itself it the middle of your work. Nothing saved, no questions asked. Basically you easily can find a lot of things "you will can't and MS will do" with Win10 over internet explained better than I just did. After all "Windows now is Service ©", so you will pay for the shiny wrapper of the service one way or another.

If you 'd like to transfer control over your PC to some guys in microsoft, headed by narcissistic marketing-department, who will make changes over your data and you PC-life whenever and however they like, despite your opinion - go for it.

Хорошая игрушка. Использовал с экранами Lilliput. Хлопотно крепить рамки к экранам и экраны к столу. Хлопотно запитывать всё это хозяйство. Впечатления - положительный. Играть интереснее в разы.

Just for info. I've read and worried a lot about Cells Degradation on SSDs before I got mine. My Corsair with Win7 on it is 5 year old already, 12231 hours (1y, 4m, 24d) work time, 3500 on\off cycles and still in excellent shape (99% reported). Estimated lifetime at the moment - 8,5 years.

Win 10 is so bad that I stuck with Win7 as long as I can. One day DX12 and all that microsoft's commercial crap will force me to move to 10, but this will be really bad day.

I've cut mine to extend them to fit to seat. Not a problem at all. Only thing you should care is the placement of capsules with motors - you should place them in correct position to feel vibration once they are on, but not feel them once they turned off. Mine were inserted right under seat cover.

I did. Mine integrated in to my sim-pit made out of auto-seat. Works just fine.

Who need the box? Take my money and gimme WARTHOG compatible F-18 grip, even in wrapped in plastic food wrap! ^)

В моем случае самодельный из муфт все таки был хлипковат. Я так понял что шаг резьбы на муфте немного не совпадает с резьбой на Кабане, и из-за этого резьба на муфте постепенно съедалась. Самому делать кое что таки пришлось. Мне видимо не очень повезло с окружением и заставить слесаря за деньги сделать то что мне нужно - оказалось той еще проблемой. Вот один из промежуточных вариантов. http://journals.ru/attach/279/27841/951361.jpg Позже он был разрезан пополам, и в место разреза было имплантировано резьбовое соединение. (к сожалению нет фото) Теперь у меня основание и нижняя часть улиннителя остается в кресле (центральное расположение) и не мешает в обычной жизни, а при полетах - ручка прикручивается именно половинками удлиннителя, спасая резьбу на кабане, и что важнее - ограничитель твиста внутри основания. Но может быть я пререстраховываюсь. Кстати, тут на форуме предлагают за деньги точеные разной длинны.

Да там делов то на 15 минут и 1 пост. Дятьки из ED на самом деле хорошие. Мне, например, художник кто делал шкуры на А-10 - очень помог с моим собственным проектом. Причем пиво я принес после того как помог. То есть он мог бы и отказать. :) Не спорю. Просто возложить на GPU расчет дистанции до обьекта, расчет интенсивности отраженных от объекта прямых лучей, расчет высоты солнца, расчет угла обзора относительно солнца и прочие рассеяния Рэлея и Ми, температуру и влажность воздуха и все это ради внесения 100% точного подмешивания "синевы" - превратит DCS из авиационного симулятора в оптический, с фреймрейтом в районе единицы. Следовательно - нужен некоторый усредненный и упрощенный метод. Который, я почти уверен, и был реализован. Должен отметить, что синеву в опен-бете я для себя отметил, но в глаза при игре она не бросается. Воспринимается естественно.

Коллеги, спасибо что не прибили сразу за высказывание про шейдер. :_) Я не могу что-то аргументировано сказать за цветность, но есть пара мыслей за шейдер. На мой взгляд, камень предкновения тут в том, что мы не очень понимаем механизм работы этого шейдера, и пытаемся применять условия реального мира к условностям симулятора. Поясню свою мысль: мы говорим "синева должна линейно увеличиваться в зависимости от дистанции до обьекта". Мне кажется что механизм честно считающий дистанцию до каждого пикселя на экране и добавляющий синевы, будет потреблять огромные ресурсы. Мой вывод - синева реализована каким-то иным методом, который дистанцию до объекта может и не учитывать. Следовательно и реалии реальности могут быть к такому шейдеру неприменимы. Имхо, нам стоит: 1. найти конкретные цифры "подмешивания" синего в зависимости от дистанциии. Уверен в этом безумном мире кто-то уже это сделал. 2. Попросить ED пригласить в топик человека кто делал шейдер и: а. Попросить о разьяснениях принципа работы "синевы" б. Попросить о разьяснениях принципа управления этой синевой (что и как ковырять в конкретных файлах). 3. ... 4. PROFIT!!! C уважением.

Коллеги, наверное стоило приложить потраченные усилия не к обсуждению "где правда", а к выяснению где зарыт тот самый "синий шейдер" и можно ли его поправить на свой вкус. И если да - то как. P.S. Убежал прятаться от летящих в ответ табуретов. :)

And what if vendor decide to harvest your bank account access and some private information you have to improve their software or to use for marketing? But of course it is your choice not to accept their methods, keep you private data hided. In this case your PC will be just a overpriced nice-looking piece of metal one day. This is the way you offering.
