  1. My bad, my bad, it's the medium springs with soft center, the factory standard. I know that a lot of people had a really hard time trying to changing the cams, and that's why I need a opinion about to see if really worth the effort lol. Thanks mate. By Tapatalk + Samsung S9
  2. Hi guys, I'm in a dilemma between my T-50 base cams and I need an opinion from the other users. I have been using this excellent piece of hardware with my Warthog grip for about 4 months without any problems at all, my overall experience with DCS and the other sims that I usually play better now, but only in DCS I've been having some hard time with aerial refueling. Do you guys use most of the default setup with soft springs and soft center or did you change it for the hard center cam like in the most joysticks in the market? For me with the soft center I fell a little hard to "probe-and-drogue" with the soft center cam. I know that is a procedure that requires a lot of practice, but even the most little input on the stick produces the "wobble effect" on the center that makes the procedure more difficult to be done. Do you guys recommend the hard center or is it just a question of more training? Take off, landing on carriers, etc etc it's not a problem, even with helicopters I manage very well, but it's just the REVO that I think a little bit hard to be done with this cam setup. Thanks!
  3. Thanks man! I'm going to update some of my inputs based on your layouts. Really appreciate you effort! By Tapatalk + Samsung S9
  4. Well, I can speak for the T-50 base. You will not be disappointed For me it's the best of the two worlds. The F-16/A-10 grip conffort + the quallity of the components and the precision of the T-50 base. You'll never found this with Thrustmaster in a whole package for sure.
  5. If I'm not wrong, Sokol's used this hall sensor to upgrade my HOTAS Cougar throttle few years ago http://www.potentiometers.com/Series6120.cfm I don't know if this axis uses a pot with this same dimensions but there's a lot of options in the market to get rid of from conventional pots. Althoug the price should increase with a new upgraded throttle I would definitely go for the Virpil throttle without thinking twice. Again, I am not belittling Virpil and its products, they are a great company and as a customer I am just putting my opinion for more awesome products, with better components.
  6. Hoo really? Let's time say for itself. Let's see if this beloved pot will resist for more than two years with constant use. I'm not cursing Virpl man, I'm very happy with my T-50 base, but IMO it's sad that they not used a better pot for this axis. Anyway, good luck messing around with the software... 7. Well, I'm never used any Thrustmaster headset but judging by it's designed it's pretty much a Razer Black Shark that I had and fits the TCP with no problems at the sides. By looking the Thrustmaster headset you'll need to adjust your head size to make a space between the head cushion and the metal that holds the earcup. By Tapatalk + Samsung S9
  8. It's no matter of software, firmware etc etc, it's mechanical, it's a common potentiometer like Saiteks and CH Products. They must have a better quality, but they're not hall effect sensors so there will be spikes/jitters no matter what you guys do, unfortunately. It's sad because it's a well place rotary, you could use for many precision inputs like radar antenna, prop pitch and many other good stuff on DCS. Hope in the future that Virpil change this pot for a hall sensor pot or something more precisely. By Tapatalk + Samsung S9
  9. This is the new model I think.
  10. Would be awesome, but maybe they would bump on some kind of law, trademark, rights and bla bla bla. I would love to use the Bradley control unit for Combat Arms. Those heli grips are sexy too. Unfortunately for western grips we're still hostages of Thrustmaster.:noexpression:
  11. I think there's no fix for this problem since this axis uses a non hall sensor, only the two throttle axis has. Looks stupid but this rotary with a conventional pot was the reason that I've asked for a refund, I knew it that soon or later I would have trouble with this axis so I just kept the order for the T-50 base and I don't regret it. Maybe for a next model Virpil changes these pot for some hall sensor, there's no reason for such a great product to use those cheap pots anymore.
  12. :megalol: We got a free awesome plane (obviously with some understandable mishaps) and there's always that silly dude. You're right about this guy, they should have raised the placenta!
  13. I've read that Virpil allowed 50mm extensions. By Tapatalk + Samsung S9
  14. Looks like that Real Simulator is cooking something too.:music_whistling: http://realsimulator.com/index.html
  15. Sorry for my intrusion:lol: I highly recommend you to use a extension because the T-50 base travel is not the same of the Warthog base. I'm using a 50mm extension and the soft center cam and springs that came from Virpil factory and the results are awesome!
  16. As a Skywawk lover, I think you should open at least a paypal account to get some funds to complete this project. The level of detail and attention it's outstandind! I would definitely pay the full price for this module. Think about it and thanks for the effort!
  17. Got the same problem here too. Just noticed when I was trying to landing on the Stennis and the button that I use for activate the arresting hook was not working  At least was just my HOTAS Throttle and my T-50/Warthog Stick, my MFD's setups are ok.
  18. Perfect combination! Another satisfied customer for your account, Virpil. This base is a masterpiece!
  19. Got mine today, after some fights with the software everything is working perfect. Awesome piece of hardware!!!
  20. Hi, guys My T-50 base is about to arrive and I would like to start the modifications on my wheelstand pro plate to secure into it, but I was looking for some guidance about the size of the screws and the distance between then to make the correct holes. Is there some kind of chart about the dimensions or any kind of instructions available? Thanks in advance!
  21. Got my tracking number today! Thanks, Cyph3r for all the support!
  22. Wow, thanks Cyph3r, also I received a mail about my refund for the throttle, thanks. Waiting for my T-50 base! [emoji16] By Tapatalk + Samsung S9
  23. Luck you, I'm still waiting for my T-50 base that I ordered on 06/25 :music_whistling: I asked for a refund for the throttle but Cypher told me that even so it would not change the shipping time.
  24. Well, the good news is that I quit and now you guys that still waiting are one a step ahead on the row. Now I'm just waiting for my T-50 base that I order while was available. Enviado de meu Samsung S9 usando o Tapatalk
  25. I noticed some jitter/spike on the Z axis at 3:34 min on the video. I think that this axis doesn't have a hall sensor, must be some kind of potentiometer. It sux if you want to use this scroll wheel for a precise radar antenna elevation.
