  1. It would be great if there was the feature to manage the aircraft carrier lights other than having to take the airboss slot. Let me explain: In our Squadron, once the pilots are placed in their cockpit, we are forced to leave the aircraft slot to go to the airboss slot. And this destroys the pilots' flight report "Logbook" files. In addition, if the "Pilot" adjusts the supercarrier lights and leaves the server to then take a Pilot slot, the settings made previously revert to Auto, simply canceling the desired settings. So my question is, would there be a way to access Air boss by doing AltGr F9 and have access to the aircraft carrier adjustment controls without taking the Airboss slot? That would be the solution. Thanks in advance.

Whether it's the MT or SP version there is clearly a performance problem and it's really a problem in our squadron we are quite numerous to deplore the current performance drops; and we see pilots taking a break towards War thunder or other games.. In short the new maps or the new modules should become secondary in the face of the optimization in fps and fluidity of the simulator. This is becoming urgent.

  4. It's awful, I'm fed up with these optimization hacks. It worked very well in the penultimate update and since Ch47 and the Spawn dynamics updates it's been a disaster. I miss the stable version. We spend more time making adjustments than flying.
  5. Same here, low fps.. After clean update ( Clean Up / Repair and Update.. Fxo and Metashaders2 empty ) I wanted to buy the Afghanistan Map and the F16, but i will wait to see if the performance improves over time..

  9. On servers loaded with multiplayer, there are even losses of 20 to 30fps... it reminds me of the release of Appache. It's very boring.
  10. It would be really great to be able to evolve in multicrew on a variant of the F18C in version D. Is there any hope of seeing ED give us a multiplayer variant of F18/C? The F14, F15 and F1 allow this. It would be a dream to be able to have the same thing on F18. Please ED, don't think, just do it.
  11. Solo, everything seems ok. But.. Multiplayer impossible.. Test on 4YA Aerobatics. Crash to Desktop. Test in cold and dark and Hot start in air. it crashes. Also in exterior view and in spectator, visually the image shakes, like very rapid micro lag.. Note: Before installing 2.9, I carried out a clean up and a repair + a complete cleaning of the metashader2 files located in Saved game and also cleaned the tracks files. On the server there were players flying, no f18. 1x 29 + 1 av8 + 1 Mirage f1. For them everything seemed to work. dcs.log
  12. I confirm that the behavior of the radar is strange since the last update and this for the Radar of the F18. Not AI. The loss of locking is recurrent in fox 1.   13. Yes indeed the MT version is well provided with Bugs. I also noticed that creating a Mark point using the helmet sight works but when you do waipoint designate, the point created is not in the right place. After several tests it also seems broken. Also in Grid mod Coordinated Mgrs there is also a bug with elevation; when you enter the altitude in Ft, it is noted in meters. And when you select meter it says error in the ufc. Moreover with the supercarrier there is still no long range laser system at the back of the boat. Anyway.. This is "Open Beta" : )
  14. Thank you for your reply. I actually use reshade. Maybe a modification to the shaders would be the problem. But now I use the MT version. I tried lots of different settings and I found my constant 60 fps'; and I no longer have this problem of "Black" windows
  15. I am now using the MT version. After some adjustments and also optimizations in addition to the visual side (Increases). I got my 60 fps back on deck. I observe a small dropout at 47 fps when I get closer to the tower and the lights are on. The volumetric lights effects from the tower lights are definitely the cause of the fps drops. Rain can also be a factor in losing fps, but lights seem to be the real cause. Otherwise still no Long Range Laser Lineup System. (The MT version seems to be the future of DCS, the ST version should definitely disappear in the future IMHO.)
  16. I have a problem with the rain effect. When I turn it off, the cockpit windows are black. I want to deactivate this effect because on the aircraft carrier when it's not raining I have 60fps and when it's raining, the rain effect makes me lose 30fps. A solution ? I'm running on the MT version. Config: i78086k 4.8Ghz 32gb Ram 3200mghz and 1080ti (11gb) Dcs is installed on an nvme ssd 3500mbs.
  17. Yes, indeed in MT version, this bug does not appear. On the other hand there is still no Long Range Laser Lineup System on the back of the supercarrier. Also in my squad there are players who have quite old PC configurations and they don't have multithreading on their processor. And after several tests they have lags in MT version when the map is loaded in units and players. Some have unpleasant jerks with the ground decorations. So the ST version is broken with the supercarrier since the last patch.
  18. If you want I put my PC config. But before the patch I had 55fps consistently on deck of Supercarrier and after the patch I have incomprehensible drops in fps. Example I'm on the deck of Cvn72 , I spawn and I take 8fps which goes up to stagnate around 35/40fps. I taxi around the deck, I look at the tower, no fps drop. I take off, go downwind, look left and fall at 20fps. Anyway.. It's a mystery. There is another post similar to mine, a guy says he went back to the previous patch and got his fps back. Something I can't afford, I fly in a squadron and going back on an update is not very appropriate for all pilots. Maybe the bug comes from the effect of the water on the front of the boat.. I don't know.. But what is certain is that before the patch I was running stable at 55fps even with a bad weather, several players on deck and all on a Liberation campaign. Spec: i7-8086K CPU @ 4.70GHz / 32Go Ram 3200Mhz / GTX 1080Ti ( 11go) and DCs is installed on Nvme ssd "3000Mbs"
  19. very funny..Yes indeed unplayable at 30 fps before I had constant 55 fps. Since the update it's catastrophic. And I'm not the only one having this problem.

It's more stable, I get good fps even on multiplayer loaded servers like "liberation". But the Fps are broken on the Supercarrier (-20 to -30 fps). A patch would therefore be welcome. In my squadron we are 14" FA/18C using the supercarrier all the time and in its current state it is really unbearable. A version with lighter textures and lighter volumetric lighting would also be great. 2 years that the supercarrier came out and the updates are chaotic, the atc is broken in multiplayer on Case 3. In short.. Quick a patch!

  23. Using ST version. "2.8.3 38090" Indeed, I have just tested on the supercarrier and a strange thing is happening. After trying every hour possible to see if lighting effects were the cause of the fps drops, I concluded that was not the cause. On the deck I have constant 60fps, I roll around the deck, I taxi along the tower and no loss of fps. I take off, I land and I lose 15 to 20 fps while the lighting has not changed, nothing has changed. Would the lso note message script take a load of fps? In any case, this loss of fps is inexplicable.
  24. With F18 : Harpoon in Bol mod view F6 / With F14 just during view changing F2.. ( i'm sure the last open beta update is broken.) (Sorry for not posting this information in an appropriate topic.)
