  1. No, its not working. Go back out, and back into Tacan page, and select A/A TR mode. then type the tacan frequency number, and you will see it's not showing direction. And set the EHSI to tacan as well. Tested that a couple of weeks ago. I hope ED fixes this issue before plane goes out of EA. We had a lot of discussion about it (link in post above).
  2. aim7m also lost track (3 times in a row). Tacview-20250105-aim7_2.zip.acmi Tacview-20250105-aim7_3.zip.acmi Tacview-20250105-aim7_4.zip.acmi R-77 and PL-10 are fine, can't evade them with a barrel roll.
  3. ok, did as you said, coming into no escape zone, 2 successful maneuvers (and 1 not successful). Good enough? Have to try other missiles as well. Tacview-20250105-aim120_3.zip.acmi Tacview-20250105-aim120_2.zip.acmi and @Xhonas I said 15nm, which is far different then 20nm. But ok, its still out side of MAR.
  4. Just evaded 3 missiles with a barrel roll (online on GS server), 4th one got me, because I wasn't expectinmg it and wasn't pulling Gs anymore, for a test: I know, that was never my intention, but if amramm is shot from 15nm from you at cca 20k feet is not considered as max range.
  5. Incorrect. I evaded all of the Fox1 and Fox3 missiles in DCS for my very 1st time. I wasn't killed from any of the missiles (don't counting some 2nd shots). See my example track how the mission was set. So I wanted to show that any of the missiles can be evaded with the right barrel roll maneuver in DCS. The problem of DCS's missiles is that they drop the speed way too fast while trying to keep up with the aircraft in the barrel roll. They simply do way too much Gs whats necessary. At the end they drop way too much energy (speed) and simply cannot follow the aircraft any longer. Or while high above, when still having lots of speed, because of way too much maneuvering (going off the straight forward axis) they simply cannot keep up with the aircraft's flight line also considering less air which means longer reaction time for the missile. Both metods working in quite similar way. Point being, missiles in DCS are turning way too much they would need to and also their reaction times is most of the times very slow, if not too slow. And maybe just because of that missiles need more turning. We can say it's so called vicious circle. Its DCS missile issue in general. All missiles seems to have same code for the seekerhead or how they are guided as Fox-1. f-16_barrel_roll_aim-7-sparrow.trk
  6. Qala e Naw strip seem to be a bit tilted (not flat): https://lca.logcluster.org/2211-afghanistan-qala-l-naw-national-airport But still whole runway is straight, not like in DCS.
  7. When pressing OVRD button on any of the MFDs crashes the game. It happened ones few mins ago, and wanted to test again and it happened again. Attaching both crash zip files. PS: It also crashed with the most simpiest mission with a clean F-16 in it. Pressing that button crashes the game instantly and each time. dcs.log-20250103-093223.zip dcs.log-20250103-092357.zip
  8. Merry Christmas to you two. Why is the slug mouse good for? I heard about it before. found it
  9. Now I have constant 72 fps thx so much mate, really appreciate your help.
  10. So this PD in OQL to 1.3 and both others (in DCS and OTT on 1), right? in OTT on 1:
  11. Its 1.0
  12. I have, 3rd pic 3 posts above. In OpenXR Tollk have these settings: CAS upscaling Inner ring 60% Middle resolution 1/2 Outer ring 75% Outer resolution 1/8
  13. Thx, will do as you told me. Btw, Can you show me your Nvidia 3c settings of DCS? Those are still on default. I frogot to save them (or write them down, before reinstalling new OS).
  14. I don't have them maxed out, far from that. As said, all these settings, I used to have at least 50% of the time 90 fps with previous system (10700k). -- Can you show me your Nvidia 3c settings of DCS? Those are still on default. I frogot to save them (or write them down, before reinstalling new OS).
  15. ASW... I remembered, its in OTT app, I have it set like: And this is how I have it set exactly before (in the old system).
  16. Meta Quest Link But as said, VR can do a constant 90fps, which I am gettihg in Le Mans Ultimate racing simulation.
  17. Is that in DCS? Before I had 90fps with old system (intel 10700k) and didn't touch a thing in DCS.
  18. Btw, and how will I know if the system is performing as it should? Sorry, never done that before
  19. Not yet, will do it now. In Le Mans Ultimate it runs perfectly fine at 90 fps in VR. And the game is very demanding.
  20. 1. For Memory I have chosen EXPO (for AMD, or is it not OK, should I choose XMP?). 2. cooling is ok, cpu is max up to 48 degC, GPU max 45 degC. 3. MSI X870 Tomahawk MOBO has 5.0
  21. Using same old settings for 4090 in game and in OpenXR Toolkit (before with intel 10700K, and now AMD 9800X3D). In OpenXR toolkit I have these setting: CAS upscaling Inner ring 60% Middle resolution 1/2 Outer ring 75% Outer resolution 1/8 -- Before with an old CPU it was mostly running with 90fps, and now with 45fps allover. What could be the reason for not having 90fps with state of the art hardware? Also fresh installation of OS Win11 with latest Nvidia drivers and up to date BIOS (for MSI X870 Tomahawk MOBO).
  22. MSI Afterburner monitoring features causes the dips. I turned them all off, and dips are gone.
  23. 400% means 4-times more. Which is practically nearly impossible. NM textures by now are 4096x4096 (up to 30MB) as far as I have seen. So having 4-times bigger? Come on.... would be also completely useless. All over-ground objects look like they are made 10-15 years ago (mostly are squares with low poly textures), so why making some aircrtaft looking so much better? Waste to time and pc resources. I hope this is typo.
  24. I have VR headset (Quest Pro) as well, but still didn't try it yet in VR. So far only on monitor. I also have steady 180 fps and 5-6ms FT. But here and there I have these dips as mentioned. I have a clean Win11 (on new M.2 ssd) and new latest Nvidia drivers for 4090. What I did in BIOS is PBO undervolt it a bit (-20). For example, I also do car sim racing, and game Le Mans Ultimate runs with no issues what so ever in VR and also in 2D.
