  1. any fixes coming?
  2. Some new image just appeared on social media:
  3. I thought that the seeker head has some servo drives for up/down left/right movements. Nice video btw @SpecterDC13. Now its way more clearer everything. Indeed we can see how hard are the Mavs to slew around and designate the targets. But I think we still have a bit different issue here in this thread. All we want is that ED slows down a bit the rate of cursor movement. Maybe also (at the same time) add that floating effect, which would be really cool and accurate.
  4. I do not see any "floatiness" of the seeker head of the Mav from this video, or maybe I am not looking for the things you do. But the thing is, actually what I can see from this tape, that the pilot could slewed the seeker head around with way more precision then we can with ours in DCS. The movement seems to be way more precise and controled. This is not the case with ours. I also belive that instability is not modelled in DCS, which is more the case then slewing around IRL.
  5. Me neither, although I find it strange that the Mav slewing would be that imprecise.
  6. Why not? You will not take anything to the other world
  7. Did you bankrupt because of it? Come on.... use some common sence please!
  8. Exactly. ps: I am glad someone brought this one up again. I hope now ED does something about it.
  9. Indeed is very sensitive, hard to direct small amounts. I use analog stick on Thrustmaster TWCS. We have been discussing this in the past, but nothing has been done yet. I also struggle slewing the Mav around, despite trying numerous of curves adjustments. The problem is, you have to be very precise with slewing around, and most of the time you don't have much time for adjustments, and you simple circle around the target (overshooting most of the time).
  10. That's not headset's problem, but more of a game. Controls are just not precise and specific enough. I also tried it, it worked quite well on planes with little buttons and switches (like WWII planes), but its almost impossible to get it right on F-16 or F-4 for example. The whole system is just not there yet.
  11. No need of converring. Just copy/paste it into Tracks folder (which is inside of Saved Games\DCS.openBeta folder). Runb DCS game, select Replay from the main menu, and select the appropriate file and click OK button. My track file should run on your pc.
  12. It works fine for me in every mode. @Lixma 06 are you sure you don't have any mods installed? Try to do the Repair thing. f-16_ACM_radar.trk
  13. This review says all about it:
  14. No, its definitely an A.
  15. Oh sorry, NL! It was an instinct reaction, or BN, or NL, it seems that 1st came BN.
  16. Thats an old issue. Some times it works, some times it doesn't.

  18. Ok, yes I missunderstood, or better said, I forgot how to use it properly. Thx so much for clarification @Lord Vader. I will rememebr from now on
  19. Did a test my self, and there is something strange, the square (Target Point) is way up high in the air, instead on the ground which I set (in my example at 2950ft). Why is that so? And to answer to the OP, TGP is indeed looking at the Target Point (the square), only in my case is looking straight up into the air (where that point is, but it should not be)! @BIGNEWY can you guys please check it out what is wrong? I did run test a couple of times, and with the same out come. It's just a simple mission and it might be a bug. Thank you. f-16_VIP_targetPoint.trk
  20. In boresight mode there is no onboard radar in use, you can also turn it off, as I did on the attached track. And you can clearly see the auto reacquiring target works, I didn't press anything to re-acquite the target. Maybe you just were doing it wrong. f-16_boresight_mode_reacquiring_target.trk
  21. I have exactly the same situation, and I have MSI X870 Tomahawk motherboard. Have to check the lights on the mobo during that long memoy check (if this really is a memory check, but it seems like it is).
