If so, then no thx. I will keep my Quest Pro.

Are there controllers? Like with Meta Quest headsets, controllers are required in some cases. I don't know how is the case then with Beyond. There is noting on their official website about controllers.

It is, but its only 1/3 of the Caucasus, of cource thats because Caucasus is free. Anyway, after Syria we got quite some new maps, but none of them got popular, none! I would dare to say its mainly because they are way too expensive, and they are also on half done, which means not a lot of user have them (apart from some crazy guys like me). It will be the same with this one, if they will exaggerate with the price. I am around long enough to distinguish that. If map would be sold for hald the usual price, there would be much more users.

If you considering buying Quest PRO, a must have are these 2 upgrades: 1. Headstrap (best one there is) 2. Full light blocker (way cheeper then the original one, which costs over 40€) I have both, and its an amazing experience in flying planes or racing cars. Without headstrap, your head starts to hurt very soon, I know I couldn't use the headset more then 45min before I didn't get it.

9950X3D vs 9800X3D in DCS World?
skywalker22 replied to Winger's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Is it recommended to have Gaming Mode enabled on 9800X3D? I read few months ago that's not. Not sure if thats the case any longer with new Bios. MSI's words on 9800X3D: https://www.msi.com/blog/msi-x3d-gaming-mode-enhance-gaming-performance-on-amd-ryzen-processors -
If you have some spare money, buy a new SDD or M.2, they are really cheap now. 1TB or 2TB. I have 5 of them already, running out of space Example: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB for $130.

Personally I would just make textures for these brawn soil more green, and problem salved. So there wouldn't be so much of a difference between the spring pure green and summer dry green. Now there is really too much of a difference between these two textures, it looks unreal.

Thank you, all the maps until then were added. I would now like you to ask the team ones again, to add the latest new maps Afghanistan and Iraq + the most anticipated upcoming map Germany.

What ISN'T included on startup with Auto Start (LWin+Home)
skywalker22 replied to BluesRocket's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
If you start hot with F-16, HMD is aligned, its just not turned on yet (turn the HMCS knob to the right). If you have TGP preinstalled (in Mission Editor) it will be turned on at the start (on the ground or mid air) and instantly ready to use. Check here for all you need to know. -
5070 review. For those considering it.

Good one and I believe a true one : -
Here is an example one, which can be found here: N 34°57.363' E 68°57.884' And this for for example: N 35°02.203' E 69°00.246' There are looots of villages with textures like this, would be cool to fix that with some transition textures between the village texture and the surrounding, to somehow blend one texture into another. Now it really looks odd. Would be better to use the google maps (or what ever you use) textures every where. -- What you did in the city areas looks amazing indeed, there is no noticeable difference bettwen two or more different textures, please use the same tecqnique, like on the examples bellow:

Kabul-Jalalabad road missing road and bridges.
skywalker22 replied to Stratos's topic in Bugs and Problems
Everything is still a very low poly, so all will come in the next update. -
Video made like a pro Its a shame ED didn't take it as an introduction to the updated map instead.

Thats not HUD. Its on ICP. @Tholozor was saying if you set the "HUD" on the ICP. With a dobber switch to the right (SEQ) on ICP, you can cycle through various sensors on aircraft. If you have HUD as SOI, then on DED has to be set to *HUD* and you can see on the image above. It works fine for me all the time. In case if its not working instantly (if you maybe press anything else in between), just press button 7 ones again. And then TMS UP.

Changing the eye distance in Quest Pro
skywalker22 replied to VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants's topic in Virtual Reality
I have Quest Pro, just move your lenses by both hands, inwards or outwards (from each other). And if you will look into headset at the time of movement, you will see the numbers changing (between 58 and 72 mm - its called IPD). -
No, it doesn't work. Loaded DCS today, and for the very 1st time loading some custom simple mission (to test F-4E), the game got stuck again for cca 4 minutes on Spawn objects. So that "no_device_hotplug = true" doesn't really work.

Please fix Maverick cursor sensitivity!
skywalker22 replied to Hyperlynx's topic in Bugs and Problems
This is how I have in the settings for years: and the same for the Y axis. But there are still unwanted issues with too fast rate of cursor movement in any direction. No, this does not salve the issues as said. I am always struggling to designate the target, so I try to avoid using the Mavs if possible, although its an amazing and precise weapon, and would like to use it more. Using the Saturation helps, but limits cursor's speed on the FCR page big time, so no go for me using that feature. And I wouldn't consider that post being the correct answer to the thread's title which you designated it so. -

skywalker22 replied to PawlaczGMD's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
Seems to be fine, at least what they say.
