  1. Ok, yes I missunderstood, or better said, I forgot how to use it properly. Thx so much for clarification @Lord Vader. I will rememebr from now on
  2. Did a test my self, and there is something strange, the square (Target Point) is way up high in the air, instead on the ground which I set (in my example at 2950ft). Why is that so? And to answer to the OP, TGP is indeed looking at the Target Point (the square), only in my case is looking straight up into the air (where that point is, but it should not be)! @BIGNEWY can you guys please check it out what is wrong? I did run test a couple of times, and with the same out come. It's just a simple mission and it might be a bug. Thank you. f-16_VIP_targetPoint.trk
  3. In boresight mode there is no onboard radar in use, you can also turn it off, as I did on the attached track. And you can clearly see the auto reacquiring target works, I didn't press anything to re-acquite the target. Maybe you just were doing it wrong. f-16_boresight_mode_reacquiring_target.trk
  4. I have exactly the same situation, and I have MSI X870 Tomahawk motherboard. Have to check the lights on the mobo during that long memoy check (if this really is a memory check, but it seems like it is).
  5. AIM-120C-5 (ours) does not lock any target while it is still attached to the aircraft (it's radar is not powered yet). It's seeker turns on after the missile goes off the aircraft. So there should never be any auto-lock in boresight mode. When the missile goes off the aircraft, the radar turns on, and it tries to find any target (no matter if its friend of foe, IFF doesn't matter to it). We had quite a discussion here 2 years ago.
  6. Agreed, of course it can be useful. I just never use it in this particular case, if the HUD is the SPI then I can use the cursor the adjust the aiming point.
  7. Just to mention, realisticly when using VIP or VRP modes, you have to fly low (to not get shot down by any SAMs), so TGP is pretty much uselsss.
  8. If you press on OSB 10, and set to TGT, it should slew the TGP to the VIP point. Never tried it though.
  9. You need VIP mode, because you are offsetting from your steerpoint towards your target. That steerpoint 3 will be your initial point towards your target. Check how Wag well explains everything here.
  10. My game does not hang completely. Instead I have 3 to 4 minutes of mission loading time when I load it for the 1st time (each new mission). If I load the same mission for 2nd or more times, loading time reduces to 10-15 seconds! Go figure what is holding back the mission to load for the 1st time. I tried lots of things, even with a help of @Special K in the past, but so far nothing seemed to help.
  11. For the game to load it take cca 45sec, for the mission 10-15 seconds (only for the initial boot of the mission it strangely takes 2,3 minutes, it stays on "Spawn Objects" 95% of that time).
  12. I'm sure ED is well aware of how important HMCS is on pilot's head in F-35, and so it's surely gonna be there for us, sooner rather than later.
  13. These are the three airports that need mesh to be fixed: 1. Tarinkot: 2. Qala in Naw: 3. Maymana Zahiraddin Faryabi:
  14. Would be interesting to hear what are other types of researches, when something is classified. Can you give us a clue?
  15. Its a 5th gen, not 6th. What ever ED comes up with this plane, will be not 85% guesswork, but 99%. So, we better forget about it, and focus on 4th gen, and now upcoming Mig-29. Besides, F-35 has no place in DCS, its way too advanced in all regards.
  16. Majority will buy F-35 out of curiosity, I am sure you included (after a week or two)
  17. @NineLine will you guys maybe have a chance of laser scan the aircraft, maybe the exterior?
  18. Thx a lot for taking the time and clyrify everything. Amazing work mate. I am glad its all working as it should. Maybe its me being a bit rusty and "old" and forgetting things Should fly more to over come situatiuons like that.
  19. @Zabuzard, I found the thread about the same "issue", if this is one: Still didn't answer on your last thread there.
  20. Which button to cycle amont stations? Its none from the bellow Pinky switch: ps: about growling tone, I was only using 9Ms, none others. I am aware of other fox2s that don't have any tone. -- @Zabuzard you still didn't answer on of the questions, why there are no HEAT lit lights for all the fox2 onbaord? There is always lit just one. Comapring with Fox1, where are lit (RDR are lit) all the stations with missiles onboard.
  21. Long story short, if there is no fox2 missile on outboard 2L station, there is no "HEAT" light lit and there is no that growling tone. In any other case I have to press the Trigger button twise in a row to bring up that "HEAT" light and to hear the growling tone. -- 1. Why HEAT lights are not lit for all the stations where there are fox2 missiles? Why they are only lit when specific missile is "selected" by the launched sequence? 2. Why fox2 missiles can get launched even without high pitch tone? They can get launched with just that low pitch tone (which is there from the beginning). f-4e_fox2_3_NOK.trk f-4e_fox2_2_NOK.trk f-4e_fox2_1_OK.trk
  22. If I start the mission in mid air, Sidewinder missiles are almost never ready to be used. Sometimes they are, but don't know the combo to turn them on. Missile status lights don't turn on. Missiles are onboard for sure. It doean't matter on which station(s). Can you check it out what might be wrong? I would say that starting mid-air, seekers should be already warmed up, and that's why missiles ready to be used, right? Or am I doing something wrong. You can create just a simple mission with an F-4E and missiles starting mid-air.
  23. @EPKolev coordinates please!
