Thanks for the advice. You have really made a fantastic mission tool here.

Just ran this through its paces and what a great job! Thank you!!! I noticed in the video that red units appeared to be spawning. I tried adding spawning zones for the red side and adding them to the example.lua and it doesn't work. It does state that it wont but I figured if I added them it might. Can there be more than one staging area? I was thinking that I could stage ground troops closer to the combat zones and ferry troops to assist in the fight. Of course that is when CTLD works again with the new DCS version.

Tacview holiday sale: 40% off on all Tacview licenses!

I have never used this before and I am just amazed. I am watching my new Spit flights. I like it so much I bought it for my dad as well. Thank you!!!!! -
I should read more instead of only looking at the pictures.

We all have very different ways of flying. Your notes are much appreciated. The RPM lever restricts your RPM, as in the Mustang, so you wont go into the red. I did state back off the throttle to lower boost. I can see where this thread is going so I will bow out now. Good luck all. PM me if needed. Ta!

This is what I do: 1. Set rudder trim so the word "STBD" is at the 3 O'clock position on the trim wheel. 2. Set the RPM lever about 1 inch back. 3. Set the pitch trim to neutral. Sometimes up one tick. Either or... 4. Taxi forward a bit to ensure the tail wheel is straight. *Very helpful* 5. No flaps. 6. Stick full right. I don't pull it back for takeoff, only for taxiing. 7. Jam the throttle to 3000rpm immediately. 8. Minor rudder adjustments. 9. When I feel the plane start to roll right I gingerly bring the stick to center. 10. Plane lifts off all by itself. Not kidding about this. 11. Maintain positive rate of climb to 140mph. 12. Bring throttle back to operating boost pressures. 13. Raise gear and have fun. This is what is working for me. Watch the boost pressure. You will blow the manifold and lock her up. Landing...I suck at it still. If anyone wants my curve settings for my Hog just let me know.

Wags, I watched the video and that helped. I do my run up checks and adjust the Engine RPMs. Once centered on the runway, center pitch trim, and then I jam the throttle to 3000 RPM quickly. That gives me good rudder authority right from the get go. I do seem to be doing a right wing dip at times, easily recoverable. She does lift off on her own. A couple of times I didn't even realize it. I adjusted my my Buttkicker and now can feel the smooth air once the wheels leave the ground. Landings...Still working on that.

Resetting the saved games folder has helped me three times in the past two years. It is incredible how that can help many issues. -
Ka-50 Cockpit Systems overhaul Mod (WIP)
Scooternutz replied to Nero.ger's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Installed the HUD mod and I really like it a lot. Thank you! -
I fly with my dad almost every day, I am 47. We started in the Falcon 2.0 days when I was in my early 20s. It is just amazing what we have now. We never dreamed that we would have something like DCS. The future looks bright. Take a look at my setup. I could not even dream this, back in the 1990s.

I have been waiting for this for so long! Due to my MFDs I had to copy the engine gauge and place it in a place where I could see it and I added the Airspeed Indicator in Knots. I copied the side panels and are running them on another system. All touch screens. Thank you so much! I use all of your profiles. I attached a pic of my system.

UniversRadio / multiplayer radio simulator
Scooternutz replied to tacno's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Doesn't seem to work for me. Very frustrated. I have attached a picture of my pit so I am no slouch when it comes to this sort of thing. This is for another sim setup that I tested last night. I primarily fly DCS. -
UniversRadio / multiplayer radio simulator

I have it installed and can't get anything to work right. I will look at the website and see if If I can find detailed instructions. Done for tonight though. Like the concept so far. I have the plugin activated on TS and have my export file done. I also have the PTT button set. Two A/C are set to 251.000 and nothing. Ugh.... -
