Abandoned airfields, major road junctions (like a big crossroads or a railroad crossing a road), bends in rivers, bridges, maybe power plant or other big industry.. Anything that is unique and easy to spot from the air
Also make sure you only have the throttle plugged in and no other virpil products (if you can unplug everything that you don't need as the VPC software can get a little upset).
Because your trying to bind the control called tdc mouse. Look for the one just called tdc slew in axis assign.
Scrap that, that's what I've assumed your trying to do. But you want the one labelled throttle designation controller slew horizontal and vertical.
Mine keys different modes of the push buttons.
From memory it is an option when you are pushing firmware to it in making a profile using the vpc software. Without being at the pc I can't remember exactly but I'm sure there was an option for how you want it.
Sadly it feels with this community you can't win. 50% will moan if you haven't released it yet. 50% will moan if you release and it's not gold plated and perfect. Sadly the loudest 10% want both.
Which throttle do you have. On my virpil I have set a trigger that when I move the throttle out of 0% to 1% it triggers a key press.
The only trouble I have with the f14 method is sometimes if your not careful on where you click on the throttle it will move a switch and the throttle together.
I'm sure everyone has there own reasons.
For me it was seeing them in Afghanistan (I believe they were both Belgium and American f16's as we went to a Belgium silent disco to celebrate the Belgium's leaving). I used to work nights on the flight line, and you would see them taxi past. Then full chat down the runway, big purple cones lighting up the whole place. Any tools or loose screws or bolts on the floor would shake and rattle away from you. Was hell of an experience. I feel exactly the same about the tornado for the same reason.
