  1. It's like the controls are crossed and the rudder kicks in all of the sudden when you are trying to stabilize the wobble. Maybe I need to get used to it but it just doesn't feel right, makes me wonder how they shot anything down back in the day. I'm going to keep tweaking my controls and keep practicing though, figured I would put my two cents in as well. Love the Jug though, excellent work. I hope this makes more people fly Warbirds and leads to large scale re-enactments of battles like in other games. The UFO AI needs to go, 7-10 continuous loops is just insane, we're not on Titan for crying out loud lol.
  2. Your hard work is very much appreciated. Thanks!!
  3. Why Mavericks first? I'd rather have HARMS and be able to standoff and tackle air defenses so I can get in there with dumb bombs or LGB's. You still have to get close to employ Mavs which leaves you pretty much where we are right now with dumb bombs and LGB's, vulnerable to SAMS. My comment is neither here nor there but just my two cents. If it's going to take the same amount of time to develop and release I'd rather have HARMS.
  4. Thanks Guys, I appreciate the responses. I will more than likely go with a Reverb I think it's time to upgrade from the Rift S.
  5. I currently own a Rift S and I've been interested in the Reverb. I've been told that the head tracking for DCS is bad and it's not as good as the Rift S. Also, what is the difference between the Reverb and Reverb Pro? I just want to make sure that it tracks well and looks good for DCS, I read a few comments back about a small sweet spot and flat colors. In regards to the sweet spot how does it compare to the Rift S? Is the screen door effect minimized? I've only owned one VR headset so I don't have anything else as a comparison.
  6. Hello, How long does it take after you order to receive your FCU's? Also, is the total roughly $60 U.S.? This sound like an interesting product you have here, very tempted to try. Look forward to your response. Thanks
  7. Thanks! I will check the switch!!
  8. Hello, I tried the JF-17 during the trial, I liked the module for the most part but then I tried a mission in a server and did a cold start. The TPod would not calibrate or let me turn it on, I loaded the tape and had ground crew do their data thing. TPod was on center mount. I read this was a bug but it was fixed, am I doing something wrong or is his still a bug? I was having fun with the module until that bug came up, really disappointing.
  9. Thanks guys, I appreciate the response.
  10. Hello, Is this setup used by some people if any at all or do most just get the Warthog throttle and stick? I use a T1600M as of right now which I am happy with but a replica F-16 stick would be a plus but that Warthog throttle doesn't really appeal to me plus the T1600M throttle has tons of buttons, I currently use modifiers and have everything I need and then some mapped. I was looking a Warthog stick on Amazon and decided to ask to see if this is something that has been done often or if there are drawbacks. Thanks!
  11. Ah, I see, I should've noticed. I will upgrade to the Reverb one day.
  12. I've noticed the same, if you do get to the S-J page fron another mode (A-G perhaps?) once you are done and back out it will take you back to NAV as well I've noticed.
  13. I get where you are coming from and agree, to each his own. Do you play in VR or 2D? If VR, which heaset?
  14. It certainly helped me out with my system (i9 9900K, 2080 Super, nvme, Rift S). I get a lot less stutters and it's overall a lot smoother than it was before, it even allows me to stream in VR which I was not able to do before. It also seems less "soupy" than before, I tried the mod with 2.5.5 and didn't notice a difference, I decided to try it again with 2.5.6 and I was pleasantly surprised.
  15. So, if I land after a sortie at a different airfield I will not need to realign after a refuel rearm? I’ve been doing the full 8 minute alignment since I figured the stored data was for another airfield/parking spot. Wanted to clarify, if I’m doing it wrong or not. Thanks
  16. I am not very familiar with the mission editor but didn't think too look in there to try to correct the problem, I will research how to change the TACAN and make the needed changes. Thanks for the heads up!
  17. I appreciate all the input from everyone I learned a lot. I will go practice, practice, and practice some more. Thanks!
  18. LOL This sounds like auto correct out on the war path...hehe Lemon.
  19. Are you able to try a multiplayer PVE mission if only just to align with stored heading and takeoff to see if it works for you? Those servers all have stored heading information. my two cents.. hope it helps..and hope you resolve this issue.
  20. From what I've experienced the AI JF-17 is like an F-5 on crack, it's impossible to get anywhere near them, they just go into that endless loop. There are only two fighters that I've had a tough time against in my 4v1 Excellent AI dogfight mission I have setup and it's the F-5 but most of all the JF-17 it's UFO to the max with AI. I Personally don't take anything the JF-17 (weapons/fighter characteristics) does particularly to heart. To me the JF-17 is an FC3 fighter with a clickable cockpit and friction-less missiles/weapons. How can it's flight characteristics be verified or believed given how little those countries want information on that relatively new fighter to be out there. There are manuals and general information online for most other DCS fighters. (not sure how prevalent JF-17 info is online but I would imagine it's scarce if non-existent) The JF-17's selling point is its many OP weapons which are all available on upon the modules release, Deka themselves said they worked on it for two serious years out of three. (or something similar) I could be wrong but this is my assumption and the general premise I am under due to my own opinion on the matter. I apologize if I am wrong or if someone is going to say DCS would do their do diligence, it's just how I perceive it from seeing it's performance since release and given where the plane originates. That being said I am happy that there is a module that can attract more people to DCS and therefore keep this game alive. What I said above are just opinions not backed up by anything other than my own feelings so again, apologies if I've offended.
  21. What are the degrees for the bank angle bars in the HUD per bar? I"ve been trying to look it up but I cannot find it. I know I'm not explaining it right but I usually bank lets say Left for example until the third bar from the left, so there are two bars from where my marker is...I know that doesn't make sense at all but it's the best way I can explain it. I appreciate all the input I will take it all into account and try to make the landing my own.
  22. hehe Well said, I understand. There is some liberty there to do what needs to be done and what fits you within those parameters to get the bird down.
  23. That's kinda where I was at, every once in a while I have a bad landing but overall they are mostly ok. I just wanted to make sure I was opening speed brakes at the right part of the pattern and doing everything I needed to do at the right time but all in all you are correct, any landing you can walk away from. I will stick to my old way of doing things. (Wags vid tutorial) Thanks!
  24. I've been landing the way Wags explained it in that first video just before Viper release. Wags: (Briefly) - At 300 knots start your turn at the opposite end of the runway, no air brake, after that drop gear and air brakes, 8-10 degree nose down, align 2.5 degree glide slope. In Game: (Brieftly) - At 300 knots start your turn at the landing point, air brake, after that drop gear, 8-10 degree nose down, align 2.5 degree glide slope. (in game tutorial mentions trimming nose up but this is wrong, I've asked twice to make sure) Which is the right way? Both work but I'd like to know which one is the actual way to do it.
