  1. Well I understand now what I did wrong. Not sure anyone will understand it was late last night. I put the raft in a zone then I used that zone named Raft 6 (then me like a boob) I used that name for an explosion that was meant for another zone on the Ship NOT the raft. My fault and rookies like me lol it makes me laugh at myself so I learn the hard way lol. Sorry I found my error.
  2. Please remember I am still learning and so I have problems like this one. I am using the RAFT in a mission and I have 1 guy in it. I am to pick him up for rescue. I hover next to the raft for 20 seconds in a small zone in the HUEY and the Raft and Guy will de-spawn and a new Late activation empty raft will spawn in its place. Crew will then reply We got this one. and I move to the next. What I need help understanding is would the re-spawn cause the HUEY to blowup if I was touching it when it spawned in? I get a random explosion event with the Huey I am not sure why. I will recreate a small version of it if needed but the event doesn't occur all the time. If this has happened to you and you understand why it does please let me know. If the guy is linked to the raft he will de-spawn with the raft or fall into the water not sure what but he goes away and that is what I want. I wish you could Late activation the Carrier Personnel.

  4. I am wondering. Does the Design of the Pedals when placing one foot at a time on them make them tip to that 1st foot side till the other foot is placed on them? I keep seeing the wide pedal width but the base is designed with a smaller width that will cause tipping side to side Only when one foot is placed on or removed first. The back legs look wider then the front but still not as wide as the center point to the pedals. Congratulations on your new Gear. I love Virpil. But I went with MFG Crosswinds they will tip unless mounted.

  6. Truth is I studied this because it was strange to me. I feel like it is a Visual input problem with video only. My use of the collective input is on the money in the sim. So I just decided to let it be what it is and not worry about it. My input to the game function is dead on target. I can live with the Video lag Better that then any Joystick input lag. Thanks for asking.
  7. I have had my Collective now for 3 months. I use it every day. I am retired so I use it a lot I have a wonderful wife lol. I am not having any issue with it. It still works like new out of the box. Other people say they had loss of friction after two weeks of use. I am not complaining just keep thinking to myself When I do - how will I deal with it? One thing I make sure I do not do from day one, I make sure I never pull it collective rod horizontally towards me when moving it. I am SURE everyone does this because the way it is mounted it just can't be a big issue. It is not for me at all. After Mounting a Damper to my MFG Crosswind Pedals I like this Idea best. Question is How would this get done using off the shelf Products and only maybe drilling some new holes or simple mods to get the job done. If you have done this point me to pictures of it. I would like to see the magic you make. I mounted my Collective to my chair with a custom "off the Virpil shelf" goods it's on/off smooth and easy.
  8. True and Thank You. This is why I am here. I have done just that and this Effect I put on the map under the USA BLUE side will not hide. That's okay I will just use the Smoke Zone effect. Thank You Again very much.

  10. If I may ask a question please that has nothing to do with the crash? I am assuming you are using Steam VR for a Steam version of DCS? I don't use Steam DCS so I use OpenComposite to stop Steam VR from running. I think You found your problem and will be fine now. Good Luck tonight.
  11. I have everything hid on my F10 map but 1 thing is not hidden and I need it to be. It is listed as Blue USA but click on it on the F10 map it say's it is Neutral and it will not hide on the F10 map. Any Ideas Why? It is the Effects Big Smoke.

Well with deep sadness I will admit I have just made a Mistake myself and asked for help then it was pointed out to me I Put my Huey down as a CLIENT and not as PLAYER and I was so embarrassed that I did that. So Please make sure you did not do the same thing I did. Check your Huey and make sure it is listed as PLAYER in the Mission Editor.
  13. Is there a way I can check for max RPM at startup on the Huey, To then trigger a action?
  14. Is this a Static ship? I have the Handy Wind ship in a mission and it can be landed on all over it not just the pad. I have never tried to land on a static ship.
  15. Does anyone know the Argument number for the Huey Start Engine Switch? It is bound to the HOME Keyboard button I can get the Perform Clickable Action Number for it that way but I can NOT find the Argument Number. in the Clickable.Lue file. I want the Argument number to monitor when the player pushes it to start the Huey to set up a trigger action. The Button range info would be nice too.

  21. Well It's like this all the time but I found the answer after posting this so I now know it is Argument 219 and the Min=0 and the Max=0 for ON and Min=0 and Max=1 for OFF So it is X: Cockpit Argument In Range 219 Min = 0 Max = 0 Whatever Action you want to trigger with it.
  22. I wanted to be able to tell when the Player turns on the Battery in the Huey. Problem I am finding out is I don't see a way to do that with the X: Cockpit Argument In Range with the Volt Meters or the Battery Switch or any other thing Voltage should be input to. Looks like I don't have the right Logic thinking to find the way to get this done. Can any one help with a way for this to work. I do not know programing so I can not write a file. Lol Sucks to be me. Thank You if You can help.

  25. I can't post the miz file. It is to large. The forum has a 5 meg limit. I made a very nothing mission from it with just the Huey on the pad with the start command that doesn't work I also add the TRK file for when I ran the same file and it did not work for me. Okay I did just that and will go run the game. and see. Did you try my attached files Miz and Trk? It's crazy your Miz worked fine for me mine don't Thank You for the help All.
