I put a Troop, Truck, HUEY down with waypoints to HUEY. Troop with waypoint #1 set with Task to Embark Truck. Truck Put Down with Waypoints all setup to drive to HUEY's Side. The Truck pulls up to the Troop location at its set waypoint with same Waypoint Task to Embark Troop, He stops the troop loads on the Truck. Truck Drives to HUEY. Both Truck and Troop have waypoints to Huey Remember. Both have the last waypoint with task set as fallows. Troops waypoint is set to Embark to Huey Truck is set to Disembark. Troops get off truck go to HUEY This is when you use the Radio Comms to pick Ground Troops. Embarking then pick the action embarking troops then the name of the group for the troops then the Troops Load on the HUEY. I just find this cool you can move them that much so I can have a truck pull up troops get off the trucks load on the HUEY. You move them to a point replacement troops could swap on and off this way. I just think this is a cool thing for my Mission I'm working on.

Good Points on both sides. If I was part of a Group flying missions and that was a issue I would go with the flow and not make waves. Unless I was told my Plane Livery had to be a Aname Livery then I might leave the Group. We all have a limit.

It is overwhelming to start to build it yourself for the first time. you run into things like Motherboards and if they are next gen ready or will not be. all motherboards need the firmware updated and cmos Bios setup to get the most out of the parts you just installed. Power supply will be looked at and over looked and we all do it different but I always over build on my Power supply because I Know I will make changes down the road. Crazy but I have a 1000w Power Supply I run a Power hungry RX 9600XT Red Devil GPU, VR, LED, Liquid cooling Large Fans, The Case is important there is junk ones so your going to educate yourself on them and airflow. Memory can't just be put into any memory slot so your going to be forced to educate yourself on your motherboard a lot. From the front of the case to hooking up all the wires to the motherboard for start button, reset button, USB ports, lights (Option) Wire management in the case. Crazy stuff to think about when it comes to how it looks because stock power wires are ugly so you can buy fancy clean looking wires and on and on. For the First time if done right and setup right who cares what it looks like as long as it is setup right. then Hard drives I have 5, 2 NVMe, and 2 SSD, and a WD Black. Games are crazy big then if you do a lot of video or digital art and Sound file editing the junk piles up fast. You need to go into a DIY project knowing ahead of time all the looking up reading and educating you are going to have to make yourself do if no one has opened your eyes to the amount of all this stuff. The Crazy Part is it is so easy to do IF YOU KNOW what NOT to do wrong and HOW TO DO IT RIGHT. Best of Luck I built my first Computer over 25 years ago. I still have to Educate myself every time I build a new Computer. I am always Shocked by what I need to learn. Sometimes you pay more to build a DIY unit but ODDS are nobody is building one like it better. Manufactured Computers are over priced and corners Cut that you did not CUT in your build. I was Wrong about the 5 lights they do not light up like that. I have stopped using the THRUSTMASTER for Helicopters only for fixed wing now. It works fine with no Curves for fixed wings.

Beta Version of DCS Never ever happened before. I honestly don't know how this is happening. I start a Mission in VR I am working on at some random point in the mission (never the same place) I see a Volume Speaker come on screen then it flash 100% for about 1 second then changes to 50% for 1 Seconds then the Volume will change from my VR HP G2 speakers to Nothing then on to the Speakers if I leave them on as I found out from a test. VR Head set is off. Only in DCS other VR games work fine. I'm about to reinstall DCS back to Standard Version lol I have more then 1 mission I am working on so I tried them and same thing.

So I am setting up the VIRPIL Collective and wonder how you use it in the setup. I just put it on a Slider with the AXIS Inverted went in game to test it and Noticed a small amount of lag time in the IN Game Collective movement to what I am doing. SO this is my first stop to ask Collective users What are your AXIS settings for the VIRPIL Collective? Do You have this small amount of LAG? I am Going back into the set up to do more testing and will check back here in a short. Thank You.

Good job makes me happy you did and posted that video that was cool. It does happen I have it happen to me also and it is dependent on just how bad it rocks at any given time. HOWEVER I have ONLY had this happen to me on an Airport Parking spot NOT a FARP. and only in MANUAL start not Auto Start. Might not matter I do not know. I just had to deal with this on my computer after buying this P.O.S. Unit. Do NOT Buy this. It burnt up my Internal Card after plugging it into it and turning on the ports I wanted to use. null YOU need to buy this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0838XY4D2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details You will need the Type C and the Internal Card that is POWERED If your VR has a Type C plug like the HP G2 has. I just put this card in to replace the one the HUB screwed up. around $38.00 better that then a Motherboard this plugs into the PCIe x1 slot on the Motherboard.

My Custom Chair Mount Idea for my new Virpil Collective.

I Did a Custom Chair Mount with my New Collective I needed it to be removable not a lot of room for my computer area. So this is what I did. forgive the AI voice but Mine is like put you to sleep Buller, Buller, Buller monotone.

Also I would hold off on the GPU if you can Prices are dropping and Gamers Nexus is saying in just a few more months this will happen again because there will be some new high end cards coming out and prices will drop more. Nvidia cards are just now starting to drop a little but will drop more if you can wait.

I also run with every VR MOD advantage I can get my hands on to reduce Memory hog programs loading in the background to run VR. Like your VR HOME...no matter what VR you run. So for me Steam VR is GONE Openxr tool kit And Openxr Tool Kit Companion and Openxr Composit and WMR and SkySpaces (low mem loading VR home environment) 3gb is used for just your VR home page you only use to launch DCS from Why let it eat your GPU Memory up. My point here is No matter How HOT a system you have VR will kick it's Virtual Butt. I will NOW admit with all of this I still need to run with Motion Reprojection on in VR in DCS For no other reason then to just not have to deal with video problems so I run 45 FPS with it on no less then 45 My settings I will say are on High I fly low to the Ground in the Huey 99% of the time. IF I go WWII flying I can turn it off and get as high a 90fps in the air up high. At ground level it will drop back to 50 or high 40's if the map is not a problem and the airfield is stock. I went with AMD this time as a test because they were making what looked to be a good card. Is it the Best for DCS? I will not say that but what I have is getting it done for now in VR with no Regrets. I don't think I would go lower then a RX 6900XT in the AMD and would go with a 3080 Nvidia Card from all the testing done by Gamers Nexus alone will prove it is a better card when tested overall. If you must stick with the 2 cards you have picked go with the 3060. MY RX 6900XT RED DEVIL is a power hog requiring a 1000 watt PS to run. It looks like a CON ED substation electric wires are a full 3" wide mass of power wires to power it from the SP. Lol I am very happy with it but not sure a RX 6700XT could make me feel that way in VR in DCS. Flat Screen games my card Rocks Ultra Settings all the time.

Small Time single player with just a few missions for the Huey made. I have had a few downloads and just a few request to put text in the mission and I have not done that because I fly in VR and I am small time and I never even thought it would be a problem (for me or English speaking people) as a small time low download mission maker. I understand other people all around the world enjoy this Sim. I just don't think I need to add the text all the time. I like my VR with little to no text. Could the Kneeboard be used to add text pages to open and close for this when needed? Well what do I know, like I said I am a small time single player mission maker in VR and do not care for text on the screen. I make my missions for myself first then post them if anyone finds value I'm happy with that. It is okay not to like my work or how I do it. You have a very good question about text. Hope you find a Answer to it.

@Flappie Thank You very much for educating me and finding the information to help me understand this, I know from your past involvement with other Items I put out about the Huey how helpful you are in our communities outreach to E.D. with our concerns and need for help with any Model and this one. Thank you for all you do. I hope to see official News statement of some fix and bug patches for our Huey community. Patience of waiting for things is what we do best. With total Respect to E.D. and all of us Huey Lovers Price for the Model is at 49.99 By Belsimtek Never sorry to pay that for the Fun I have had. To Quote a line from Dangerzone "I don't think there's much being done on the Huey anymore." I wish I could say I don't feel the same way but I do and I am so sad by that. IS Belsimtek even in business any more? I honestly do not know. Is E.D. responsible for all needed updates and bug fix issues? Again I honestly do not know. I do know a lot of us have reported a lot of issues with the Huey. I can honestly say when reported we had a genuine honest concern to report and take the issues to the People that take the issues in hand. Not faulting this process at all. It has been a Good part of the process. Thank you. Sad but we have no movement in the area of patches to help us out yet with the Huey. So I do feel Dangerzone is right. I can say for myself "only" This issue and the very sad startup and shut down body rocking are 2 of my top of the list issues. like 1 and 2 on the list. Because I love this Model so much I have made Liveries and so I know of the sad long problems with the Shinny body and dull tail bug that a wonderful user named ams999 figured out was a 1 file fix to the ab-212.lods.Json file and it alone returns all Liveries to the intended way a livery was meant to look. Very easy fix that could be added into any patch at any time. The Only point I think I am dragging you into is If that is so easy and left to go not fixed. I am sad to say we may never see any patch fix for our beloved Huey. But I hope I'm wrong.

I took the Poll and was Honest. I like polls for our Passion on Flight Simulation. Matters not how it was designed to me. I will comment on how and Why I voted. Vote was No reason is because I fly Single Player and this would have to be a Multiplayer with full multiplayer crew to be a functioning playable model (Or so I am Thinking off the cuff) This is my first exposure to the idea so I am thinking off the cuff with no real ability to add a lot to the topic.

First off I am looking at this part of the Forum and it makes me kind of sad that not much action is going on here with new posts. Today I will post a outlook of some new Gear I have been using and looking forward to some more new Gear on the way. (time to babble) So I got a New Thrustmaster HOTAS Stick and Throttle "SAD VERY SAD" So I got a new VIRPIL VPC Constellation ALPHA-R, with a VPC WarBRD Base, and a VPC Control Panel - #1. I have been using them for about 80 days now and I am Very happy with all of them. I love the Control Panel. It fills my button pushing needs in VR and it just makes VR that much more fun with touch and feeling my needs to NOT remove the headset to look at the key board. STICK and BASE: This is just my JOY omg The best inflight control I have ever had. The words Micro input for a micro output of control surface movement to control the placement of the aircraft is the fact I have in my hand now. Before you had this and it was good and you just don't think it matters or could even get to a point you could ever tell how much better it could be. My Virpil WarBRD base and the Grip are So good when I take off in The Huey my Stick is almost Dead Center still to rise into a Hover. Just a Micro amount of Aft and Starboard placement will get it to hover now. No Product makes everyone happy 100% of the time. My Joy may not be your Joy. My View of this product for personal use I paid for it and I am so happy with it I just ordered the VPC SharKa-50 Collective Grip, VPC Rotor TCS Base. THRUSTMASTER GEAR: I did buy this first because my mind was not right. SAD VERY SAD truth. I waisted my money. Thinking in my cheap ass way it don't matter and covid shutdown everything and this was still for sale and I just got it. It is NOT TRASH. It is "Spring Heavy" SO it is hard to use for flying a Huey in a desk mount setting. I have a Desk it is not for just gaming BUT I do Game. I want the gear NOT locked down in place all the time. I don't want a sim pit. Nothing wrong with one I just don't feel the need to have one. Lol till I get all my gear out in place then I kind of got a sim pit right? lol anyway I now use the Thrustmaster Throttle as my Throttle for everything BUT do not like it for Helicopters But do enjoy it for WWII flying. Thrustmaster needs to Redesign there Product in my opinion for the price you pay it just is not worth what you get anymore. IT is NOT JUNK it just has now become outdated through Competition of more Functions of new products of the same if not better quality in design. NEW GEAR ORDERED: My need to have a Throttle ie Collective in the Huey that can be enjoyed as much as the Stick has been placed and is going to be shipped soon. The WARTHOG Throttle again FINE for fixed wing use and I will still USE it for that only now. My hope is to mount the Virpil to a Mini clamp and clamp it to my chair's arm rest frame at the screw in point to the chair a small amount of FAB work will be needed to mount the Collective Base to the Clamp and with LUCK (no cheap ass involved here any more) It can be clamped to my chair and removed when not in use. SO FAR VIRPIL: For me has been a very enjoyable experience and I know that is not the case for some other people and I wish them the joy I have had with my new gear will come to them some how some way. MFG CROSSWIND W/DAMPER: I now use the MFG rudder pedals V3 with the Damper added for my Rudder controls and will say I am very happy with them and they have a way better smooth control from my Logitech pedals that over time turned a little janky jerky push feel. SO I went from a X56 RHINO HOTAS with Logitech Pedals to a THRUSTMASTER WARTHOG HOTAS to a VIRPIL Custom HOTAS Augmented with the Thrustmaster Throttle for fixed wing and my New MFG Crosswind Pedals for a lesson learned of I get kinda stupid sometimes don't I? Honest I do not think Thrustmaster WARTHOG HOTAS is Bad or Junk I think it needs to drop in price to the Mid level point on just being bested by Other Brands after never offering any improvements over the years of being King of the Hill.

I have on Order now a Virpil VPC SharKa-50 Collective Grip, VPC Rotor TCS Base, VPC Desk Mount V3 - Mini, VPC Desk Mount Adapter - Control Panel. So I wanted the same thing the Mount on the other side but thought I bet it can't be moved. Thanks for that Confirmed fact. My hope is to Clamp my Throttle on and Off the Arm rest using The Small Mini Clamp Inverted and FAB the Mini Desk Mount Adapter Plates to the Clamp then mount the Collective to the Mount so i can remove the Throttle. IF the PROVIDED Mount could be put on the LEFT or OTHER side it could be attached to a Regular Desk Mount Bracket, Or a home made Custom Mount to get the proper placement. My Chair is a Custom Chair and the Chair Mount Plate will not bolt to it. I know I will need to FAB a small Wood Block to the Mini Clamp then with luck put the Mini Plates to use for the Mount of the Throttle Base.
