I downloaded a Program from the Microsoft Store Called EarTrumpet This solved my problem. It turned out to be a Windows 11 issue after updates and something making Realtek go crazy on my x570 Gaming x Motherboard (also firmware updated) Maybe not a problem but I did it with all the above events. As far as I can tell EarTrumpet detects what is on plugged in and active including the VR headset and keeps the default from changing to non default devices like it was doing. Crazy My monitor has built in speakers. I have a Speaker bass system plugged into the Mother board, headphones and VR headset a second Recording Computer with a Elgato 4K Pro. EarTrumpet keeps track of all of them now No Issues. And fixed the Elgatos issue with no Output to my Game computer when the Recording Computer is on sending game output Volume to the Elgato.

I use a Virpil Constellation Grip with a WarBRD base and a Panel #1 This Collective was just added to them and this is how I clamp mount it on and off of my chair. Forgot I use MFG Crosswind Peddles

Sadly I am a HP G2 Owner that got a Headset Never had a Problem with it till I went to a New Computer AMD X 570 Gaming X Motherboard. HP keep this a secret at first till customers all over the world started getting the word out. BY this time My Headset was Just out of its Warranty time limit. I did contact them but was told I was S.O.L. ha ha So I wanted to Buy a New Cable (Sucks to be me) to see They had ZERO in STOCK for months. Then COVID was turned loose on everyone and that just shut this cable hunt down for good. I seen a few times people posting I got one from HP under warranty I'm so HAPPY happy happy joy joy. Happy for "You not for me." I'd See one for sale in a post "Go here get one." Out Of Stock by the time I try it. Lots of post about a few sites in the E.U. and some people saying they got scammed and never got it. (Ouch sounds like my luck) so I felt E.U. is out with shipping to the USA No No I am not doing that. SO the CURRENT time line goes like this. I am so fed up with my cable problems and error codes even with internal PCIe x4 cards Powered and unpowered 3.0 3.1 External Powered Hubs plug and play ready bla bla bla Adapters from type c to A to xyz (joke) My cable problems are getting worse and worse with Driver updates Motherboard Firmware updates system Windows Updates. DCS Kicking the VR ass of all the listed items. (ED not to worry VR is still my love thank you) Wouldn't hurt to give us VR players some better love FYI lol. OH my Point. I feel apart. HP has broken me. NOT 1 CABLE in STOCK for retail sale to us Customers in all this time. OUT OF STOCK is what you see every stinking day till NOW that I couldn't take any more and spent 2 times the In Stock price (If it would still sell if it was in stock) I got The NEW Cable today. It worked just fine. I had no issue with it for the entire time I had it on today. every time I look at it I feel like it came out of my rear end inch by inch with the Devils jalapeno Lube on it with burning ambers for a nice led color effect look. This is crazy this worked perfectly with just 1 troop the second I put another Soldier down More then 1 it all stopped working. All kinds of crazy things started going wrong. Even if I deleted the add ins it still would not work. Still cool but not useable something is so wrong in the editor for this. I'm doing a remove program and a clean install of the Standard version My Beta version is going bad with VR too. Weird screen blurring like my screen is a thin layer of water. Standard Version not doing it. I think I'm leaving Beta. No Big Deal.

Has it been reported that during/after Auto Start The AC Power Dial will still be set to the AB setting and Not AC PHASE. The VM Dial will still be set to Main Gen not ESS BUS.

I put a Troop, Truck, HUEY down with waypoints to HUEY. Troop with waypoint #1 set with Task to Embark Truck. Truck Put Down with Waypoints all setup to drive to HUEY's Side. The Truck pulls up to the Troop location at its set waypoint with same Waypoint Task to Embark Troop, He stops the troop loads on the Truck. Truck Drives to HUEY. Both Truck and Troop have waypoints to Huey Remember. Both have the last waypoint with task set as fallows. Troops waypoint is set to Embark to Huey Truck is set to Disembark. Troops get off truck go to HUEY This is when you use the Radio Comms to pick Ground Troops. Embarking then pick the action embarking troops then the name of the group for the troops then the Troops Load on the HUEY. I just find this cool you can move them that much so I can have a truck pull up troops get off the trucks load on the HUEY. You move them to a point replacement troops could swap on and off this way. I just think this is a cool thing for my Mission I'm working on.

Good Points on both sides. If I was part of a Group flying missions and that was a issue I would go with the flow and not make waves. Unless I was told my Plane Livery had to be a Aname Livery then I might leave the Group. We all have a limit.

It is overwhelming to start to build it yourself for the first time. you run into things like Motherboards and if they are next gen ready or will not be. all motherboards need the firmware updated and cmos Bios setup to get the most out of the parts you just installed. Power supply will be looked at and over looked and we all do it different but I always over build on my Power supply because I Know I will make changes down the road. Crazy but I have a 1000w Power Supply I run a Power hungry RX 9600XT Red Devil GPU, VR, LED, Liquid cooling Large Fans, The Case is important there is junk ones so your going to educate yourself on them and airflow. Memory can't just be put into any memory slot so your going to be forced to educate yourself on your motherboard a lot. From the front of the case to hooking up all the wires to the motherboard for start button, reset button, USB ports, lights (Option) Wire management in the case. Crazy stuff to think about when it comes to how it looks because stock power wires are ugly so you can buy fancy clean looking wires and on and on. For the First time if done right and setup right who cares what it looks like as long as it is setup right. then Hard drives I have 5, 2 NVMe, and 2 SSD, and a WD Black. Games are crazy big then if you do a lot of video or digital art and Sound file editing the junk piles up fast. You need to go into a DIY project knowing ahead of time all the looking up reading and educating you are going to have to make yourself do if no one has opened your eyes to the amount of all this stuff. The Crazy Part is it is so easy to do IF YOU KNOW what NOT to do wrong and HOW TO DO IT RIGHT. Best of Luck I built my first Computer over 25 years ago. I still have to Educate myself every time I build a new Computer. I am always Shocked by what I need to learn. Sometimes you pay more to build a DIY unit but ODDS are nobody is building one like it better. Manufactured Computers are over priced and corners Cut that you did not CUT in your build. I was Wrong about the 5 lights they do not light up like that. I have stopped using the THRUSTMASTER for Helicopters only for fixed wing now. It works fine with no Curves for fixed wings.

Beta Version of DCS Never ever happened before. I honestly don't know how this is happening. I start a Mission in VR I am working on at some random point in the mission (never the same place) I see a Volume Speaker come on screen then it flash 100% for about 1 second then changes to 50% for 1 Seconds then the Volume will change from my VR HP G2 speakers to Nothing then on to the Speakers if I leave them on as I found out from a test. VR Head set is off. Only in DCS other VR games work fine. I'm about to reinstall DCS back to Standard Version lol I have more then 1 mission I am working on so I tried them and same thing.

So I am setting up the VIRPIL Collective and wonder how you use it in the setup. I just put it on a Slider with the AXIS Inverted went in game to test it and Noticed a small amount of lag time in the IN Game Collective movement to what I am doing. SO this is my first stop to ask Collective users What are your AXIS settings for the VIRPIL Collective? Do You have this small amount of LAG? I am Going back into the set up to do more testing and will check back here in a short. Thank You.

Good job makes me happy you did and posted that video that was cool. It does happen I have it happen to me also and it is dependent on just how bad it rocks at any given time. HOWEVER I have ONLY had this happen to me on an Airport Parking spot NOT a FARP. and only in MANUAL start not Auto Start. Might not matter I do not know. I just had to deal with this on my computer after buying this P.O.S. Unit. Do NOT Buy this. It burnt up my Internal Card after plugging it into it and turning on the ports I wanted to use. null YOU need to buy this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0838XY4D2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details You will need the Type C and the Internal Card that is POWERED If your VR has a Type C plug like the HP G2 has. I just put this card in to replace the one the HUB screwed up. around $38.00 better that then a Motherboard this plugs into the PCIe x1 slot on the Motherboard.

My Custom Chair Mount Idea for my new Virpil Collective.

I Did a Custom Chair Mount with my New Collective I needed it to be removable not a lot of room for my computer area. So this is what I did. forgive the AI voice but Mine is like put you to sleep Buller, Buller, Buller monotone.

Also I would hold off on the GPU if you can Prices are dropping and Gamers Nexus is saying in just a few more months this will happen again because there will be some new high end cards coming out and prices will drop more. Nvidia cards are just now starting to drop a little but will drop more if you can wait.

I also run with every VR MOD advantage I can get my hands on to reduce Memory hog programs loading in the background to run VR. Like your VR HOME...no matter what VR you run. So for me Steam VR is GONE Openxr tool kit And Openxr Tool Kit Companion and Openxr Composit and WMR and SkySpaces (low mem loading VR home environment) 3gb is used for just your VR home page you only use to launch DCS from Why let it eat your GPU Memory up. My point here is No matter How HOT a system you have VR will kick it's Virtual Butt. I will NOW admit with all of this I still need to run with Motion Reprojection on in VR in DCS For no other reason then to just not have to deal with video problems so I run 45 FPS with it on no less then 45 My settings I will say are on High I fly low to the Ground in the Huey 99% of the time. IF I go WWII flying I can turn it off and get as high a 90fps in the air up high. At ground level it will drop back to 50 or high 40's if the map is not a problem and the airfield is stock. I went with AMD this time as a test because they were making what looked to be a good card. Is it the Best for DCS? I will not say that but what I have is getting it done for now in VR with no Regrets. I don't think I would go lower then a RX 6900XT in the AMD and would go with a 3080 Nvidia Card from all the testing done by Gamers Nexus alone will prove it is a better card when tested overall. If you must stick with the 2 cards you have picked go with the 3060. MY RX 6900XT RED DEVIL is a power hog requiring a 1000 watt PS to run. It looks like a CON ED substation electric wires are a full 3" wide mass of power wires to power it from the SP. Lol I am very happy with it but not sure a RX 6700XT could make me feel that way in VR in DCS. Flat Screen games my card Rocks Ultra Settings all the time.

Small Time single player with just a few missions for the Huey made. I have had a few downloads and just a few request to put text in the mission and I have not done that because I fly in VR and I am small time and I never even thought it would be a problem (for me or English speaking people) as a small time low download mission maker. I understand other people all around the world enjoy this Sim. I just don't think I need to add the text all the time. I like my VR with little to no text. Could the Kneeboard be used to add text pages to open and close for this when needed? Well what do I know, like I said I am a small time single player mission maker in VR and do not care for text on the screen. I make my missions for myself first then post them if anyone finds value I'm happy with that. It is okay not to like my work or how I do it. You have a very good question about text. Hope you find a Answer to it.
