Hello I just Got the G2 V2 Cable I was having Blue Screen and Crash. IF you have a Outdated Motherboard Firmware Bios You need to Update that first. I had the X570 Gamers x Motherboard that was the Root of this problem with the Cable. I Have a USB HUB and I HAVE a USB POWERED Internal USB and TYPE C PCIe x4 Card and still BOTH of them gave me the Blue screen. I was able to STOP it by using the HP TYPE C to TYPE A Adapter that came with the G2. I have Other Type C to A adapters but They would not POWER the Headset. I HAVE to plug the HP C to A USB into the Motherboard ONLY This is the only way for it to work. All My joysticks are plugged into the USB POWERED HUB. I removed the Internal card because It was just in the way after all of this. Good Luck

As I said originally I might Get this Wrong When the Map was announced and first came out I was trying to remember if it was said that the 1st Marianas map would be free and a 2nd WWII map would fallow as a Pay to own version. BUT I can not recall if I am Correct I do NOT want to speak for ED in this matter because I could be very wrong. I thought ED would jump in and give a voice in the matter. I am Fine with it coming out Free or Pay to Own. I've seen some people say they have some issues performance wise with this map but I don't. Not sure why I do have 64G of Ram and a 16G VRAM card. I hope to see this map added to me Game as soon as it is Finished. I did not intend to stir the pot with you please understand that.

I have NOT used it but I would try something like Silicone Paste. Used some at work in the Maintenance Dept when I was working it always was good. We used Silicone Oil to it never left residue. Thinking outside of the Box here.

I have a hard time navigating the new Menus so I try to look long and hard to get any post in the correct area. I can not find a DCS General Discussion room. If you have Game related Problems or want to report Bugs you are fine Got a Room for that but If you just want to talk about the DCS Game I'm lost can't find a room. Where is the correct place to post General DCS Game Topics?

I will not Speak for ED and I am thinking to myself a Question: Do I get everything Wrong? I thought when the Marianas Modern day map came out the talk was we get this one free and the WWII map would be Pay for use.

I honestly had to do nothing to the Stick for setup on the Axis. Do you have Thrustmaster's "Target" software installed? Have you Installed the Firmware updater Software? Have you run them on your gear yet? https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/cat-joysticks-en/ Pick your Gear from the list lookup what to do first on YouTube with the Software so you are not going into it Blind. do the Firm Ware update first. Then the Target Software. Hope you get this working. Thank You.

Hello I put this post up on about my Thrustmaster HOTAS Throttle I was using for the Collective. I found it to have little to no through then I set it up like the Picture shows and I felt it worked out way better for me. If you are talking about the Stick and not the Throttle then I had no issue with the sticks Axis. CLICK on the "Huey and Warthog Throttle" link.

You're so right. I went from a X56 Rhino HOTAS (Lol) all Logitech gear to all Virpil but (MFG Crosswind Pedals) My Constellation Grip on the VPC WarBRD base was a SHOCK to me. it gives so much Micro control ability I can leave it dead center and apply just enough Collective to get the Very fine point of Lift with left pedal input applied then move the Cyclic to its needed position. I am always watching other people fly and how much they are moving the Cyclic around. I am amazed at how little is truly needed with the Virpil Gear. I thought I might regret the Collective but OMG it has turned out to be just as Wonderful as the Cyclic and base. I am also a VR only Pilot want to be. I use the Virpil Switch Panel 1 in this setup also and Love it just as much. My MFG Crosswind Pedals with Damper are high res and I just love them. The Huey is a Dream to fly.

I downloaded a Program from the Microsoft Store Called EarTrumpet This solved my problem. It turned out to be a Windows 11 issue after updates and something making Realtek go crazy on my x570 Gaming x Motherboard (also firmware updated) Maybe not a problem but I did it with all the above events. As far as I can tell EarTrumpet detects what is on plugged in and active including the VR headset and keeps the default from changing to non default devices like it was doing. Crazy My monitor has built in speakers. I have a Speaker bass system plugged into the Mother board, headphones and VR headset a second Recording Computer with a Elgato 4K Pro. EarTrumpet keeps track of all of them now No Issues. And fixed the Elgatos issue with no Output to my Game computer when the Recording Computer is on sending game output Volume to the Elgato.

I use a Virpil Constellation Grip with a WarBRD base and a Panel #1 This Collective was just added to them and this is how I clamp mount it on and off of my chair. Forgot I use MFG Crosswind Peddles

Sadly I am a HP G2 Owner that got a Headset Never had a Problem with it till I went to a New Computer AMD X 570 Gaming X Motherboard. HP keep this a secret at first till customers all over the world started getting the word out. BY this time My Headset was Just out of its Warranty time limit. I did contact them but was told I was S.O.L. ha ha So I wanted to Buy a New Cable (Sucks to be me) to see They had ZERO in STOCK for months. Then COVID was turned loose on everyone and that just shut this cable hunt down for good. I seen a few times people posting I got one from HP under warranty I'm so HAPPY happy happy joy joy. Happy for "You not for me." I'd See one for sale in a post "Go here get one." Out Of Stock by the time I try it. Lots of post about a few sites in the E.U. and some people saying they got scammed and never got it. (Ouch sounds like my luck) so I felt E.U. is out with shipping to the USA No No I am not doing that. SO the CURRENT time line goes like this. I am so fed up with my cable problems and error codes even with internal PCIe x4 cards Powered and unpowered 3.0 3.1 External Powered Hubs plug and play ready bla bla bla Adapters from type c to A to xyz (joke) My cable problems are getting worse and worse with Driver updates Motherboard Firmware updates system Windows Updates. DCS Kicking the VR ass of all the listed items. (ED not to worry VR is still my love thank you) Wouldn't hurt to give us VR players some better love FYI lol. OH my Point. I feel apart. HP has broken me. NOT 1 CABLE in STOCK for retail sale to us Customers in all this time. OUT OF STOCK is what you see every stinking day till NOW that I couldn't take any more and spent 2 times the In Stock price (If it would still sell if it was in stock) I got The NEW Cable today. It worked just fine. I had no issue with it for the entire time I had it on today. every time I look at it I feel like it came out of my rear end inch by inch with the Devils jalapeno Lube on it with burning ambers for a nice led color effect look. This is crazy this worked perfectly with just 1 troop the second I put another Soldier down More then 1 it all stopped working. All kinds of crazy things started going wrong. Even if I deleted the add ins it still would not work. Still cool but not useable something is so wrong in the editor for this. I'm doing a remove program and a clean install of the Standard version My Beta version is going bad with VR too. Weird screen blurring like my screen is a thin layer of water. Standard Version not doing it. I think I'm leaving Beta. No Big Deal.

Has it been reported that during/after Auto Start The AC Power Dial will still be set to the AB setting and Not AC PHASE. The VM Dial will still be set to Main Gen not ESS BUS.

I put a Troop, Truck, HUEY down with waypoints to HUEY. Troop with waypoint #1 set with Task to Embark Truck. Truck Put Down with Waypoints all setup to drive to HUEY's Side. The Truck pulls up to the Troop location at its set waypoint with same Waypoint Task to Embark Troop, He stops the troop loads on the Truck. Truck Drives to HUEY. Both Truck and Troop have waypoints to Huey Remember. Both have the last waypoint with task set as fallows. Troops waypoint is set to Embark to Huey Truck is set to Disembark. Troops get off truck go to HUEY This is when you use the Radio Comms to pick Ground Troops. Embarking then pick the action embarking troops then the name of the group for the troops then the Troops Load on the HUEY. I just find this cool you can move them that much so I can have a truck pull up troops get off the trucks load on the HUEY. You move them to a point replacement troops could swap on and off this way. I just think this is a cool thing for my Mission I'm working on.
