The tail rotor is implemented incorrectly.
DishDoggie replied to Tim_Fragmagnet's topic in Bugs and Problems
Good Discussion and awesome facts. I will add just a few things from ED's Web Site and From the Museum of Flight. It looks to me like Belsimtek "MAY HAVE" I can not speak for them and I may not have it right. "Belsimtek is not around any more" Belsimtek use reference material from many people and many years for the model. I have no idea how it was used for the making of the UH-1H. So a point I will make is just the Big one that stands out for me. and that is the TYPE of Huey we are talking about. The UH-1 Iroquois NOT UH-1D or any other upgraded version. P{lease read the Museum's facts on production years and numbers made. Making me still feel we are pre 80's for the Huey Iroquois version we have in the Sim. -
The tail rotor is implemented incorrectly.
DishDoggie replied to Tim_Fragmagnet's topic in Bugs and Problems
I know you know way more then I do about the subject. When I worked as a State Certified Laboratory Analyst in the Water Industries a valid point to watch for and then Question is coming to be asked. Your reference material is without a doubt true and can be trusted as Factual. From 1972 and 1988 going forward but what about before that time? The UH-1h is from before the dates used and I have no Idea if that matters but I must question what is was for this model from a earlier time line. Even so you can tell by flying the Model that you are correct that i fell it is not modeled correctly when real Huey pilots have said so as you do. I am impressed with your knowledge and the information display you have presented. Very Good Job. -
I'm All for the 1st Picture. I mean Come On it has Ashtrays on Both sides. So Hell Yes. 2nd one is a updated modern non Vietnam era dash and the easy way to tell is they took out the Ashtrays.

The Huey is a Cold War era Aircraft and I hope it will stay that way. They can make a new Modern day Bell if that stuff is needed. Lol I want my Vietnam era Huey Bug fixed but not updated to new avionics. I think I would Cry you know like a BIG OLD BABY if they do that. ED call the Wambulance I think I have lost it again. lol

fixed External hardpoints always present on AI Hueys
DishDoggie replied to Ian Boys UK's topic in Bugs and Problems
This is a Wish List of AI control of Helo Aircraft placed for wingmen or just AI in general. Hard Points as you said. Side Doors are Always Shut even when the Skin has Custom Arguments for them to be Open Even with custom ROE command. Navigation Lights are always on in combat and enemy territory day and night. Lol Kind of a joke for a Combat Sim. Your AI group are like here we are Kill us all. I know it is not easy to do it all as fast as we want it. How long has the Huey been out? Wish List right? -

I paid full price for Item A and was given Item B for FREE. I paid full price for Item B a long time ago. I do not want Item B so Give me free money for Item B that I was given for FREE and paid ZERO amount for. You give me $5.00 to buy a Hamburger for lunch. I tell you I will pay you back on payday. Payday comes and the Burger Joint has the same Hamburger on sale at 50% off so I pay you back $2.50 With Respect Sir. I applaud your point of view effort. This Idea went down faster then I do in a Dog Fight.

Profile for T.16000m FCS Flight Pack
DishDoggie replied to johnt7303's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Sorry to say that you are going to have to do this by learning how to set up your gear. DCS after you learn how, is one of the best control menus made IMO. Ask yourself this. Do I want to start out as a Game or Simulation. This would be a good time to tell you your going to learn way more then just the control setup menu. Sorry. DCS is a Combat Flight simulator, as real as it gets. If your passion to do this runs deep you will learn this and Please ask for help on the Forum like this. So if you setup the base game settings for Simulation (as real as it gets) then setup your gear for Helicopters Cyclic = Joystick Collective = some kind of axis like a Throttle HOTAS then rudder pedals = Tail Rotor you will use the (if Huey) Huey Sim profile in the control setup menu. Sorry to say this is not all the information you will need to learn. Watch videos. Force yourself lol Sorry Maybe someone here has a setup to share with you like your gear but then AGAIN learn how to install and load that setup is and could be harder then setting what you have and doing it yourself. BASIC control Cyclic, Collective, Tail Rotor Taking off and flying is easy. NOT killing yourself on landing is the Learning curve from hell. Sorry but DCS just is not a Plug and Play Combat Simulator. I wonder how I made it this far so if I can You can too. I am still learning. -
X56 Throttle/Stick bindings mixed up
DishDoggie replied to guggenheimer's topic in Bugs and Problems
This is hard to say just what the problem could be. I use to have the X56 HOTAS system and it gave me fits till I found out my X570 Gaming x Motherboard was a big part of the problem. Back then The USB ports went nuts with the Throttle plugged in. I had to Install a PCIe Powered USB card and only plug the Throttle into it never on the motherboard. If it was plugged into the mother board I would have ghost switches turning on and off and other strange things. I would think the USB Hub would of cured your problem. -
