Because your Avatar is so high. If you post 1 line, and with a high avatar, the box on the left builds the remaining space. No avatar, and the total height of your posts would have been smaller.

You must select 'CAP' as flight type, or one of the correct ground roles. It should do the trick.

According to my observations, these rules seem to apply to the DCS FTP servers; - May have a bandwidth / or max number of concurrent users threshold - after that it blocks new requests until enough bandwidth / connections are free. Result = Username & Password prompt. - May limit to 1-2 concurrent connection for 1 PC. - after that it blocks new requests until your previous D/L is complete and connection is freed. Result may be; Username & Password prompt, or 'infinite wait'. - There's no limit on how many times you D/L the material from ED. So if you get "username & password" either wait for your own DCS D/L to complete before queuing the next. Or wait a bit - until someone else free up bandwidth / connections to the servers.

Joey, OP was hinting at the lack of open servers. You're talking about your technical issue - so two different things. ;)

I've seen this too, 1 monitor only. But it's hard to grasp how to reproduce the problem. Solving is easy - alt-tab back / forth - and you'll be good to go. Still under investigation, although not at highest priority (easy fix).

Hello Smokin_H. Perhaps you can assist us a bit. 1.Is it a converted misson from your own saves? Can you attach the mission please? And attach a DxDiag as well please. 2. Does it replicate every time, by looking to the right, on your hardware? 3. Can you avoid the crash by looking to the left - or flying somewhere else? 4. Assume this was in SP?

What improvements are you looking for? What was lacking previously? We had an aussie flying with us, 400ms ping, and was still able to fly, aim hit and enjoy the P51D dogfights the other night.

Oh my goodness, I learnt quite a lot flying against you - good fun! Thanks for sharing :thumbup: There was quite alot of talented people on the server that night, and frankly - much better pilots than I. Sorry, I don't remember all your names right now, but I watched in amazement how people were dogfight eachother, so many skilled pilots. You all kept whipping me and others - I've not had so much fun in a long long time. :D And all the BennyHill moments such as 3 on 3, all trailing eachother. :lol: We need to do this again some other night, for sure.

As long as you have a valid serial-number, it's what matters. Where you bought it, standalone, update, steam - doesn't matter, it will work.

Just in case you missed another trick: * RCtrl+Enter = show controller axis & centering. Can be quite helpful when you adjust your input midflight.

Okai, to recap - c0ff mentions a regfix (p 2 here), using the serial from you DCS A10. It may work / not work - depending. ED is still off from work for a day or so. And as he mentioned - they may be able to fix this a bit later this week. Sorry for the inconvenience, gents.
