  4. Ah yes, one of the more obvious issues - I'll check to see if I got a report & status of that one. Thanks for the reminder. EDIT: Thanks, found a issue in the db.
  5. Thanks Mastiff, I've seen this on other servers, forgot about it back then. I'll try to reproduce and assign it to the bug database. EDIT: That track was 50 mins +, sorry to say, it's too long to make any useful out it. Are you able to help us out and make a shorther track you think? Reproduce it in the shortest amount of time & mission? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
  6. I would assume "no" for Config\Inputs - BS1 to BS2 required new Config-files. Same for DCS A10C if you skipped a few patches. FC2 was also using the 'old' Config\Input methods. So the trend points to a big 'no', sorry. Not sure about the logbook, it may have to be done manually. I haven't checked the format of it.
  7. BS2 upgrade is a valid product - even when upgraded from BS1. And since it is, starforce should have no problems detecting your product & license.
  8. There's no real content here except flamebait. Closed.
  9. I'm going to close this thread now - it seems the topic has been exhausted. It's time to pick up the pieces and move on.
  10. Grimes, Memphis, Pikey - all good reflections. I'm enjoying the read, don't be afraid to toss out ideas. I think you made a quite good point with this question, Grimes:
  11. Oh, thank you for testing that - I haven't gotten around to it yet. So much to do these days. Many thanks to you. :)
  12. I'm not sure the sales department would like that, loosing out on the sales for all the SP customers. Surely someone clever must have some ideas on how to solve it though.
  13. Thats a protip, turbo. Thank you.
  14. Yes, but that probably means quite a few manhours (weeks of production, testing & QA) - and those certainly aren't for free. However - reusing the standard product from FC2 and upgrading to fit into the world it is quite cheap in labor terms. The net result is that you & I get a free flyable - as opposed to 'you need to buy this DCS world upgrade to get a cheap flyable. No freebies'. If one wants the full quality - then you have the remaining DCS series, which is intended to cover just that requirement. But then again, it's just my opinion - not to be confused with ED's opinion. ;)
  15. Gents, give the OP a time to settle, please be respectful. Please treat others as you be expecting others to treat yourselves. ;) It's quite possible to reply back in respectful manner. I've cleaned out a few instigators - the rest of the quality posts remain. No warns issued. Cheers. o7 Davis, welcome to the forums.
  16. Full install. I've not tested yet, still downloading that one. Going to try direct install on top of the old.
  17. Well, we all want two seaters :) Not sure if I followed the old discussions on the topic, but it's probably a real challenge because you would have to solve: - All players who fly SP, need to have a backseat AI. - All players who fly MP may need to allow for human backseater - or AI. And not that the AI should be just a noodle who aim weapons and pulls the trigger. The integration with the human needs to come along way: - The AI need to be operating a fully working cockpit (or at least emulate it). - The AI may not be allowed to do things without prior consent of the pilot. - The DCS cockpit doesn't have any 'simplified' interface to allow for watching / controlling the backseater. Normally you use Voice for this (in MP for humans - or in real life). Any other obstacles? And how does one go about and solving these? A 3'rd party would not only have to build a cockpit / airframe / FM (standard DCS 3'rd party addon) - but they would also have to make changes to how MP & SP is working, and build a new AI for the task. But of course - we still want dual-seaters! ;)
  18. I've cleaned up after the little incident of abusive language. Warnings have been issued. Please think twice when you post - there's not reason to use abusive language. Please see forum rules 1.2.
  19. Lobo & Eth - you're doing it the hard way. It's much easier to observe when the vapor stops flowing from the holes in the wings.
  20. Just in case there are any doubts left - no, you shouldn't do that, if you don't break the DCS (crash) right away, it'll certainly not work inflight. You have to reassign the profile from start - using a fresh setup & config.
  21. Then try to get the x86 C++ 2010 version as well - there's been issues in the past when you install the x64 it doesn't work properly until you add the x86 of the same libraries. And mine is installed on my E: drive, but I have all the C++ libraries (x64 + x86) as well as updated them afterwards using Windows Update.
  22. start with all files in the same folder, then run: 1. dcs world 2. p51
  23. I assume we're seeing the same amount of space? Member info cannot be lower/truncated - hence the post-area must stretch until the bottom is aligned. We're talking about the same thing? However - you lack a signature, so your post-area appears to be larger than mine. See?
  24. Please keep separate issues as separate topics. Made a new thread for you. Make sure you use the serial, and not the order-number? See here for some examples regarding A10C, not sure how it matches the output for P51D, but it should be similar: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=57556 Is this the cause maybe?
