You need to turn on your datalink system by turning MDS LVT knob to norm
-

is it possible to undesignate targets in TWS mode completely? Lets say i've bugged a target and want to undesignate him, if i press the undesignate button, it will cycle other TWS contacts, but never drop a bugged contact? Even if there is just one on the scope?

You can toggle this on and off in the DED using the ICP panel. Set your countermesures to standby and then press List on the ICP and go to your CMDS page
-
it works fine here
-
sorry, i wasn't clear in my preious post You first need to set the knob to align, then highlight all 3 lines Also if you set the knob to align, the DED will show the coordinates and the status of the alignment. The first 2 digits represent the time when the alignment started, while the second set of digits show the alignment status counting down was this in SP or MP? small side note is that not all MP servers have pre planned waypoints

at the beginning. Go to your INS page, when its not already in the DED. Press enter, dobber down, enter, dobber down, enter, etc till you have confirmed all lines

Best dog fighting move in a F-16 from a true F-16 pilot
Falconeer replied to oldtimesake's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
The favorite move should be the "slice" according to Pete Bonanni The quickest way to get your nose around on the bandit is by initiating a lead turn slice into the bandit. To do this maneuver, start an immediate 8 G lead turn into the bandit with your nose about 10° below the horizon when the line-of-sight rate of the bandit starts to increase. By pulling around with your nose low, you will gain the use of gravity which will preserve your airspeed and increase your effective turn rate. "The slice is one of the Viper (F-16) pilot’s favorite moves. The reason is simple. The F-16 can out-turn anything in the sky, so a big lead turn executed nose-low will intimidate the bandit. After completing the turn, you will have gained angles on the bandit and still have plenty of energy for the next turn. The disadvantage of the slice is that it is a high-G, nose-low maneuver that places the bandit at deep six and out of sight momentarily. This is not too big a disadvantage if you know where to look for him as you come out of the turn" -
Sorry i missed it, but a feature i like to see is a setting in the config menu, so that the controls for the radar cursor and slewing of the RB75 are the same. I really can't get used to the fact that the up and down function of the controls are opposite to each other. ( i read somewhere, thats actually how it is in RL) https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=232312 Would you consider something like this to add as a seperate setting, for those who run into the same issue?

[ACKNOWLEDGED] Cockpit lights and screens dim after last update?
Falconeer replied to Surrexen's topic in Bugs and Problems
The entire cockpit looks a bit darker too me, which makes the MFD's very hard to read for me, thus barely spending time in the Viper If it was a feature for VR users, why not simply add some sort of setting in the options menu? -
Great sim, love it. Everybody 4th gen outguns and ranges me.
Falconeer replied to DmitriKozlowsky's topic in M-2000
As far for the MLU variants, the Dutch, Norwegian, Portugese and Belgium have internal ECM's Also some Jordanian aircraft have them, but these are ex-Dutch airforce jets -

Yes, you are right. I think the US F16c's today still use external pods, while for example Israeli and MLU versions carry internal jammers -

Falconeer replied to DmitriKozlowsky's topic in M-2000
the models represented in DCS world are "upgraded" versions of the orginial jets which dates from the early 80's. Comparing these jets together makes no sense... Funny fact however when the F16 and F18 came out, the Mirage was superior, due to the Matra 530 performing better than the Sparrow and the F16 could only carry Sidewinders -
Some pointers in general with the F-16 in mind :)

I thought i was a much harder module to master, but i find it very easy to learn and having a ton of fun in it!

Go to INS page on ICP while its aligning (List->INS), after a couple of minutes it should show "rdy", put INS knob to NAV and you are good to go. i have been flying and dropping GBU's all day and haven't found any issues

Multiple targets in a single pass by the IR Maverick?
Falconeer replied to Papacharly's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
IIRC the later F16 variants have this feature and can fire up to two mavericks with the use of the TGP -
I have been flying for more than 2 hours and it seems the rolling to the left issue has been resolved! Thanks again!
-
Many thanks Wags and team!
-
sure i can, then the radar up/down will be inverted and the maverick slew would be correct
-
i bought the Viggen yesterday and yes i think it's great idea to have function like that in the options menu. At first i thought i had screwed my controls for some reason
-
any word on this one ED team? i really hope you guys find a solution for this issue
-
it's called WIP.... Harpoon is useable, but is very much unfinished
-
It happens in straight and level flight without moving the throttle as well, so it cant be that
