    No thats just wrong. The older BS2 is the more realistic one of both. BS3 adds IGLA air to air missiles that the real KA-50 never had and the added Onboard Defense System is also questionable.

    My guess is that the airport has empty warehouses. So there are no weapons and stuff in its storage to mount on your aircraft. The only reason why you have weapons when you spawn is because its a preset.

    Are you overclocking your CPU ? DCS has a history of bad performance when the CPU is overclocked

    Most servers use Caucasus. The biggest DCS server Growling Sidewinder and Enigma with over 60 players are on those maps. Make sure to be on the latest Steam/Standalone open beta version to be able to join them.

    Are you flying a turn while the missile is incoming ? It belive it gets the distance info faster when you turn because triangulation is easier when not flying in a straight line.
