Why the F-117 ? It offers almost nothing. No guns and it can only carry 2 bombs. It only looks cool but thats it. Sure modern ones offers modern system but I imagine they are still very classified because its still in active service (yes it is https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/retired-f-117-nighthawks-may-fly-for-another-decade). If I could decide to add a new free aircraft to DCS, it would be the Su-33 that offers carrier ops, air to air refueling, basic air to air and air to ground combat while its also easy to fly and learn (beside the radar) and has great performance. That would be a greater entrance for new player.

Id say the 1 one missed because of desync/lags and 2 and 3 where in the notch and lost track close after launch

Thats actually how the real Eurofighter is. Its a frankjet as well. Each nation got their Eurofighter in the configuration they want and they can upgrade and or downgrade many parts of it as much as they want. Its extreme modular platform.

To be honest, I dont see why its a big deal. Same airframe just with different avionics. Its like a PC with different hardware. Its pretty normal in general aviation that people put anything they want into their cockpit and its kinda the same here with the J-8PP. The documentation exist for the avionics and we see that they have been installed in the aircraft at some point. It wont make the aircraft fly different from other J-8II But they could have installed a better RWR other than the SPO-10 you see in the top left corner

Correct me if I am wrong but doesnt the F-86 Sabre in DCS have some ancient Aim-9 ? Also who knows what missiles the F-4, F-8, A-7 that are in devlopment brings If I remember correctly, the Aim-4 Falon was confirmed for the F-4

Because its much easier to implement a low fidelity radar than a high fidelity one into a mod Lol what ?
