  1. Here a work arround until its done
  2. You dont need the now the pressure for that. When you know at which altitude the airport is, just adjust the barometic altimeter until it shows the altitude for the airport you are standing on.
  3. Out of curiosity, are you using the DCS open beta version or stable one ? Asking because the infinite loops are supposed to be patched out with DCS 2.8.0 A new standard flight model for AI is devlopment that should improve the way the AI flies. ED only has limited resources and man power so this will take a lot of time: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/newsletters/a134f231fe8269e1c78dd6d0dd8c3c9d/ Also many AI updates were released over the year.
  4. That stable is getting later updated is nothing unusual. Here a overview of patches and how long Stable and Open beta stayed on the same version number in days during the year.
  5. The KA-50 was built in so low numbers that it was considered to be just a prototype. Because of that, ED allowed themself a little bit more freedom regardes "what if" Source: "I just wanted to make my own modification of the Ka-50ED. Those who do not need Needles can simply not use them. Also on servers. Since the Su-25T and Ka-50 are initially non-combatant, test aircraft, we can afford to experiment with them." -Chizh
  6. The reason why ED gave it IGLA's was that the KA-50 was built in so low numbers that it was considered to be just a prototype aircraft. Because of that, ED gave themselve a little more freedom regardes "what if". Also its not that unrealistic because the Ka-52 uses more or less same wings. Source:
  7. There seems to be small offsets here and there but other than that, I ..... love it !!!!
  8. No It wasnt stated in any changelog. However, there are user graphs of the radar changes Source:
  9. Block 2
  10. Yeah but most people wont realise that because they do not care because they have no interest into a cheap third world aircraft
  11. Relative unkown aircraft and so there is no much interest into it. Many F-16 pilots dont want to get a (cheap & inferior) copy of the same aircraft for 80$
  12. Via module manager. You can access it by click on the Rubiks cube in the main menu at the top
  13. Looks to me like the missile was notched. Missiles are using a doppler radar that detects targets by speed difference against the ground. So they only can detect objects flying towards or away from them. However, if they fly rectangular and the closing speed drops near zero, there is a high chance they it will lose lock.
  14. Pretty sure they will search for a solution even though it wont be high priority
  15. DCS doesnt have realistic damage models. Ground units uses health bar system and missile lonly do 2 kind of damage which is all not enough for realistic damage models.
  16. It wasnt Still not a official manual and who knows how much Deka was involved in that guide
  17. Jup, they are currently building and testing a new version of it https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/chinas-j-10-fighter-spotted-in-new-big-spine-configuration
  18. Actually you can start the whole aircraft in almost less than 2 minutes (Forgot to turn on taxi lights and to set up IFF and datalink but that can also be done quickly during taxi)
  19. That is correct but you can start the engine in under 1 minute
  20. That is not correct. Fighter jets fly much higher where turblences get much stronger too. Also dont forget that from 1980 through 2008, U.S. air carriers had 234 turbulence accidents, resulting in 298 serious injuries and three fatalities and that with big airliners. https://www.faa.gov/travelers/fly_safe/turbulence
  22. Bottleneck ?
