Thank you so much! Mi-8 please

The Tacview issue happened to me also. I went to Tacview and in the second menu (the one with the globe), I deselected "Record DCS World flights", closed Tacview, open it again and reselected "Record DCS World flights" and voila! sorted out. I hope the explanation is clear and it works for you guys.

What I did was to add a range of IPs, from XXX.XXX.XXX.1 to XXX.XXX.XXX.X10, I never connect more than 10 devices to my network so whatever IP is assigned, it will work anyways. Besides, as per my previous post, if you have more than one iOS device, you can use all of them (I tried with 2)

Wow, you can connect more than 1 device!!! I connected the iPad and the iPhone, both worked independently. Just add all the required IPs and that's it.

MiG-29A as a Third Free Aircraft for DCS:W
Tucano_uy replied to TheFurNinja's topic in DCS Core Wish List
How can a company survive giving popular things for free? I already consider that having the Su-25T for free is a LOT. Free stuff should work, in this case, to see if the program runs well on your machine, as a showcase and a teaser. And that's it. A limited time trial for the modules would work, but I guess there are security issues around that. -

I want all modules to be free. And the hardware too. -

New Installer painfully slow
Tucano_uy replied to Frogfoot1606687865's topic in Installation Problems
Something curious: When downloading via torrent, it says the update is more or less 1GB, if I cancel and go the HTTP way, the update is 1,8 GB. -

New Installer painfully slow
Tucano_uy replied to Frogfoot1606687865's topic in Installation Problems
Well, in my neck of the woods internet access is mediocre at best. My internet is metered, something that people in Europe or North America might have forgotten of, so I pay for both download and upload traffic. I'm not sure if I'm happy with the change. -
Did anybody else's Su27 Hud / Betty change to russian?
Tucano_uy replied to Elo001's topic in Su-27 for DCS World
I had the same language issue. Not a bug but a feature. About the RTN thingy, I read somewhere that 1.5.1 messed the assignments, have you tried to remap the key? -
cockpit in Chinese for Russian aircraft
Tucano_uy replied to wolle's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
Got it. Disregard. Hadn't gone through all the options. -
cockpit in Chinese for Russian aircraft
Tucano_uy replied to wolle's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
I've seen the option but for every module it only shows "default" and can't change the option. Maybe a corrupted config file. Any idea how can I fix this? Many thanks -
In the second picture, the radome it seems to be made of a brown material, most probably not metal but some composite. Besides, "bagging" all the air straight head onto the airflow, will probably crumble/tear it all the way to the mounting, wouldn't it?

After last patch, 27ER's performance is very weak again
Tucano_uy replied to Chimango's topic in Su-27 for DCS World
No, I suggest they can't do it better, let alone realistic. Not to fool anyone, just because they would be representing something they are not allowed to do. For example, let's assume that IAGTSG's work is 100% correct, if they implement it, they get in trouble. -

I suspect they actually do have a lot of information on Russian hardware and, from what I've read in this forums, they unfortunately can't use it without getting in trouble with the law. That's why I believe there's a ceiling up to where Eastern machines can be simulated. Apparently different political doctrines between the east and the west, released data, propaganda, marketing, counter-intelligence, will translate in better/worse performance of a given aircraft or weapon. What do we know about reality? What they want us to know. Are the Russians so stupid to be flying for decades with a missile that can't hit anything? Can they only shoot down an F15 if they hide behind a mountain? Surely not. But they won't come to tell us. It is what it is guys, DCS can only be as realistic as the reality they portrait to us. -
New member (ex-LOMAC), has FC 3 doubts.
Tucano_uy replied to Top Jockey's topic in DCS: Flaming Cliffs
Hi Top Jockey, Just a short word of advise. Since you seem only interested in the Mig-29, buying FC3 will not give much more regarding flight modelling than you had with LOMAC, AT THIS POINT IN TIME. But since it will probably will be upgraded in the future, I would wait until ED puts FC3 on sale and get it for a good price. Think of it as an investment for the future. It seems that the Mig-29 is the last aircraft being updated, so the PFM might still take a while. About the nose point capability, I wouldn't worry about it now as it will surely change with the new FM. -
Multiplayer datalink for the Russian birds Missile dynamics and guidance Get all modules off beta then move forward
-
Ah OK, so it's a known issue then. Thank you
-
Not at home and I can't check the .acmi now. From what I recall, they were higher, hot-hot. If you have a chance to see the attached file, you'll see the missiles suddenly losing speed and dropping "like a bomb".
-
Hi guys, I know it is not a RAZBAM issue, but I believe people in the know might be around here. I was fooling around in a Su27, fighting against 2 AI Mirage 2000-5. I've noticed that they shot early and the missiles suddenly ran out of energy and dropped from the sky. I didn't manoeuver, kept flying towards the Mirages and the missiles didn't even reach mid way between them and me. Something seems to be wrong. Either the Mirages shot waaaay to early or the missiles should behave differently. Maybe as this weapon is only used by the AI, ED hasn't put too much work on it. Attached is the acmi file. I would appreciate any comments, Thanks MICA.zip

Native voices or English voices for campaigns ?

Thanks, enough said. It is so obvious... This was discussed years ago, I can't understand how it's still a topic... -

I am up to my balls with, "adim adim nol, wachirian" etc etc Operating in a language that one doesn't understand is not realistic.
