change your profile settings. i think the default one is to show the last threads over 24hours or something. I changed mine to a month or so and they are all back again.

Silenteagle ... just a thought here, but could it be that you've got the F16 mod on your system and because the server now forces its settings on you it is flipping out?? Has anyone else using the aircraft mods been able to join a game online?

the Ch Manager is the way to go. another good tip is to make a cmc file which you essentially put all the key commands in ie Gear = G and then when you make your profile rather than putting "G" in the window you can select gear. this makes it easier later on to see exactly what key each button is assigned too without having to learn them all. i'll put my profile up for you guys to download and mess around with (it has a cmc file for lock-on 1.02 asi am yet to update it to 1.1 standards but hope to do so very soon.)

I have answered my own question 3. i logged onto the main site using my mates log on info and just used my paypal details to pay for him. I then logged off and he logged on and downloaded FC. Too easy. Does anyone have any answers to the first two questions?

I cant see why not but even if u lose the copy from your hard drive and didnt back it up you can download it again from the web again.

1. Do we need to purchase a second copy if we wish to host 1.1 using a second computer so we get a psuedo dedicated server? 2. Also how do i go about buying a second copy of 1.1 using the same username. I noticed that it gave me a registration number on my profile now, but am unsure of what will happen if i try to purcahse 2 copies. 3. Can i buy a copy for a mate as he doesn't have paypal?

It said all current aircraft to get the afm so i assume they would bring them up to the Su-25T standard. Which would be a big improvement for the F-15.

can anyone confirm how realistic the fuel flow gauge for the F15 in lock-on is? i find it very hard to believe that the gauge would be unable to register the fuel flow when in afterburner (as tracker said, it gets pegged.) also on the subject of fuel and gauges. it seems there are quite a few more functions to teh fuel gauges on the F15 by use of the slector knob just below them (not sure of the three settings off the top of my head) but it seems we only get one which it is stuck on by default.

i thought in 1.1 the server determined what was allowed to be exported. personally i thought it sounded pretty cool, but if you were doing a comp or something then as long has the server has the ability to dis-allow the information being sent then i cant see a problem with it.

that would be a great addition to have. a few approach plates for a few various airports would be great. (i'd love to see the plate for the southern main runway at Sochi, as, if you fly the ILS it puts you into a hill lol.)

Can you please turn avatars and signatures off by default for all profiles so that those of us who wish to use them can, without unduly affecting those on dialup. Each user has the option to see sigs and avatars in their control panel so i dont see the need to force everyone down to the lowest common denominator when there are options available to those who dont want to see them available. It would certainly liven the boards up for the lucky ones of us on broadband. Thanks in advance.

I just did a few quick test flights with the F-15 and here is what i got. Config: F-15 with full internal fuel and no external stores. Cruizing at FL350 300KIAS at the start of both tests then an idle thrust descent. 300KIAS = 66nm 250KIAS = 78nm (flew level @350 till speed bled to 250KIAS then commenced descent) To give you something to compare it too: B737-800 from FL350 flying: .78/280/250kt = 125nm or .78/250 = 130nm but what is most interesting is that flying a descent with the GEAR DOWN they reckon you will get 77nm!! The F15 must be one draggy beast even without any external stores!

i'm considering the 6800GT. why are you selling yours to get the X800XT? one of the reasons i am considering that card is to allow an easy upgrade with a second 6800GT in the future as my mobo is SLI.

Thanks GGTharos, this is the sort of info we need. When you say 11 degrees do you mean flight path angle or nose attitude? I might try a few idle descents and see what sort of fpa (and distance) i get maintaining something like a .85M/300kt descent from FL350.

i think you may be right Kula in that drag seems overmodelled. try a glide descent from altitude and you fall out of the skywhich doesnt seem right. i'll ask an F18 pilot what sort of glide ratio he reckons they would get at idle thrust.
