Offline Carrier Operations: I loaded up one of the Su-33 Carrier Training missions and spent the evening in the middle of the Black Sea. Awesome atmosphere for some traps.

You do realize that if that were to happen it would be the greatest thing of all time right? That level of awesomeness couldn't be contained within the software of frankly any computer on the face of the earth. Talk about air-superiority brought up to a whole new level.

I've tried using multiple joystick profiles and different configurations via the GUI but I can't fire anything besides the cannon in the A-10A. It doesn't matter if I have rockets, AGM's, etc selected or which mode I'm in. I've changed the ingame commands for weapons release and fire along with the X-52's profile commands and still no joy. With every other aircraft it works perfectly but with the A-10 it's a different story. :joystick:

Yeah. I heard rumors a while ago but I'm really happy to see it come to fruition. I was also worried that it would look like crap but it should be a good movie. Frankly anything with the Predator can be considered awesome. Twilight? Add the Predator. Telatubees (I don't care about spelling)...add the Predator.

I've always wanted to fly as Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, etc. It would be neat to have some obscure countries in.

I managed to get 11 hours worth of flight-time on a vulnerable profile before I died. I was entering a hover and I entered a vortex and punched out. My pilot still died though after the ejection.

That isn't enough though. Spend the next month combining every weapon. And I mean EVERY weapon in the game onto the A-10A's payload. That way the epicness that occurs crashes the game and a soundwave of sheer awesome annihilates everything within a 1,000 mile radius except for you and your desk. :D

My problem now (I'm running a 1600 x 1200 resolution) is that I'm having trouble finding quality aircraft pictures. I have plenty of them on my hard drives from Airliners.net but I have to have my backgrounds all nice and smooth not pixelated. I have found a few decent photos here and there though. Now I have to improvise :/

I still have to do some tweaking but I've been flying with the Alphasim AS365N Dauphin and Aerosoft Seahawk & Jayhawk X for a couple of weeks. It's a lot of fun even though FSX absolutely kills my PC. I get great frames on DCS, Crysis, COD5, etc but man my FPS gets shot while flying. That and the virtual cockpit on the Seahawk drives me crazy with my TrackIR.

This thread delivers. Whether its the hilarious Engrish skills or the raging this one should be stickied. You would figure after 17 pages someone would actually get an idea but I guess not. Next time I fly I am definitely spamming AMRAAMs even more than I do now just to spite my opponent.
