If you set the stick XY axis to sliders and 0DZ you'll notice the stick in the cockpit mimicks your Stick exactly like a 1:1 ratio this is with an X-52 though. I think the curves are unrealistic as they dampen your inputs outside of the game before the input reaches the aircraft some folks will adjust these settings according to they're own preference I happen to think it's unrealistic This is all just observation I could be wrong forgive the lack of puntuation I'm on a mobile:) -

There is a new, world class Mig-29 model in the works, check the "3D Models" thread. Then maybe someone will jump on that SU-33. We'll get one sooner or later, I hope.

I must have AAx16/Wide-tent in Super sample mode. Otherwise I get a shimmering effect in the distance. These settings do effect my FPS sometimes 5-10 fps difference. I'm using a 5850 with the latest 10.4 drivers

I found that, deleting the cockpit reflections, didn't yield any significant improvement. -

Thanks, and no, there are no birds, just catastrophic engine failure to simulate a bird strike. I believe the rudder, and nose wheel, are supposed to be independent of each other, correct? However when you trim the rudder the nose wheel will follow suit, and that's not good, unless it's accurate. I'm for 100% accuracy even if it's bad engineering.

Using FC2.0:smilewink: After I had all of my settings the way I like, I noticed the bird strikes slider, so I set it to what I thought was a moderate 250. This is my very first flight in 2.0, SU-25T Ramp start and NAV mission, I saved the trk. I thought for sure, I would be a flaming heap at the end of the runway:huh: BTW, the nose wheel turns when the rudder is trimmed, I guess that's how it is IRL as well, can anyone confirm?

The A-10 to me, flies exactly the way it did in 1.1, Its always been easy going. And the A/Tfrogs, do seem a bit tame, especially landing the Tfrog. The tires don't pop as easy. If it's more realistic, then I likes it -
I'm not sure what Gfx card you are using, but I have noticed this transparent cockpit effect/bug only occurs, when I have my (Anti-Aliasing mode) set to, (Adaptive Multi-sample AA). I have to set it to either Multi, or super sample AA. Hope this little tidbit helps, Good luck.

Speaking of the Mig-29, Have any of you guys tried going Gunzo with the F-16 in it yet? You'll either love it, or you'll absolutely hate it:smilewink: Try a 15 minute Rolling scissors session, I enjoyed it greatly, and it showcases how much more improved the A.I. is. -
Very informative, Thanks. I have the plain X-52, and the rotatory dials have a horrible twitch, I gave up on them and don't bother mapping them to do anything. For trim I have mapped Hat1+pinky using the SST software, still not a very good solution as it takes a second or2 to achieve "perfect trim" whereas the rotatorys would be almost instant. I'll give this a try. Thanks again.

I'm having an issue. Can anyone confirm if they are able to change the A-10 skins in the mission editor? No matter which skin I select, I only see the grey one. -
