There will be an update for OB but I was hoping for Hornet Tpod which is highly unlikely for today update. No new video from Wags means no new feature for the Hornet. I'm happy to be wrong tho....
Whats going on here? Lol
I can only say from my experience in MP. I don't think ED modified TOR capability in DCS recently to appease F-18 users. I dont think ED even modified Tor at all (intentionally at least) I can see Tor reacts properly in MP. it still shoots incoming missiles in its detection range, quite aggresive IMO. My tactic always let it shoot first and at last minute I shoot it back. That way I make it busy tracking me and let my missile slips in. It works almost all the time.
To be honest, I didnt see your track (Im not at my comp). You might be right tho but my experience says its fine.
Need more manouverable A-10C in combat ? Load it up with 50% fuel (trust me most of the time its enough), 2 Mavs and 4 GBU. There you have your maneuver, you can even try to dogfight the Flanker :D
May I suggest just join the GS, BF, or 104th server, pick the one which most populated. Turn your radar off, fly low and watch the SA on MFD. There you have the most effective mission to enhanced your SA.
I don't think it matters what kind of track you use whether it track clip or track hat. What matters is what software it used, how it interacts with DCS. I use open track with 3d printed clip and it works flawlesly in dcs.
Edit : just saw the website. I think it'll work in DCS.
You can dodge both the radar and IR missiles if you fly below 7 meters and not on hover, keep moving. I've wasted countless missiles trying to kill pesky Mistrall flying below 7 meters. The only thing that could effectively kill them is with guns but thats not without risks.
I'm aware Russian fighters kinda like "handle with care" jets but 7 G seems too low for breaking apart. Dunno I might be wrong.
No need to compare with the mighty Eagle, we've been there before. Just wait untill Tharos chime in lol j/k...
120C prone to chasing chaffs right now IF supported with good maneuvering. Wasted 2 120C's in 6 miles head on against Su-27 in MP. I was quite surprised with that.
That is because the AWACS tells them via datalink. AWACS detection seems immune from "minimum" 70 knots unless you're covered behind a hill or something. It can detect you even when you're hovering.
Based on my experience in MP so far I can confirm this. Use the C if you're gonna anticipating rather close combat below 20 nm as the 60 somehow can be dodge. I could not believe myself untill I saw someone did that. Over 20 nm the 60 far superior than C in PK.
