If you fly mostly on modern jet rudder pedal is not really critical to have. I have Thrustmaster TFRP while probably its not the best but it does the job well enough and I have no complain so far. Try adding an extention for the stick it'd make control movement much more precise and convinient. I searched the design on the web and asked someone to 3d printed it for only less than $10. Any joystick (non arcade) would be enough for a start. But why not buy a Hotas for long term if you're sure enough with the hobby. I'd suggest CH Product, the price is nice, precise enough and arguably the most durable product I've ever had. Oh.... I almost forgot : its made in USA [emoji1]

TWS will come in phase 2, IIRC. As long as it has not been implemented in the Hornet we can assume its not going to happen to the Viper soon enough.

Its not something new but when it happens frequently then there's something seems not right. But look at bright side, we can use it as troll tool for F-14 launching Phoenix. Couple days ago I made a quick mission against Tomcat BVR 50 miles separated from me (I flied Su-27). I shot down Phoenix in vertical scan mode with Archer. No need crazy maneuver and fancy notching just straight level heading to it. You only need sharp eyes and strong nerves lol.

Probably because its DCS World...... subject to changes lol. Seriously you cant expect something complex with free map. Area with mosly desert, sea or forest here and there would be better suit.

I can confirm the bug is back. After being shot down then respawn the right engine didnt start no matter I tried. Exit DCS the only thing could bring it back to normal.

Finish the Harpoon then TWS, just guessing.

Plus it can be a challlenge for performance (FPS) particularly when flying low.

Its not Hornet exclusive. It also happens on all Fox 3 fighter jet. I did team killing numerous times in the Eagle with 120 due to my stupidity for not realizing there were friendlies nearby.

In DCS, you actually can fire your missiles on it. Try it. I've had success with it. As the real purpose of the LTWS I'll let other that has more info explain it for you.

That is quite true. I know some of our Air Force Generals play DCS and he has played it since Flanker series while he was Liutenant Colonel. Now we have a bunch of Su-27 and 30, Su-35 is on the way to join :D

Apparantly its smart enough to differentiate which one is military ship and which one is not lol.

Its working fine and new update gave it more convinient way. I just need to press the trigger and not needed to hold it. Tracking moving (point track) target was fine. Got my GBU-12 destroyed moving Neutrashimy yesterday before patch and I admit have not tried it after newest update but I believe it should be ok.

Just tried in SP from different altitude : 15k ft, 20k ft, 22k ft, 25k ft all of them met their target with auto. No idea what you guys problem with it.

So far minimal. Just tried couple of times against excellent Neutrash ? (dont remember the exact name, the one with TOR SAM) launched 4 at it and all of them intercepted and destroyed. I could do better with Gbu-12 , climb high and drop it from high altitude.
