You guys were correct. I can do it now and not get a hot start. They must have tweaked the settings for starting this bird up because before I was fine and then when I tried a the other day I got the hot start issue. I've fine tuned my throttle position a bit when starting and have no problems now. Cheers gents.

Has this been confirmed as a bug? I'm getting the same thing and I know how to start the Huey from cold ramp. Here are some screenshots of the issue.

Testing one of my mission last night. Noticed when I was starting up the Ka-50 that when I went to turn fuel meter power on, it was already on. Cannot turn it off.

Was testing a mission I made last night. AI aircraft when taxing at the airport at night do not use their navigation lights or taxi lights. They are all dark when moving to runway. Test was for a night mission.

Thank you for the tips and I'm glad you enjoyed the movie. I will experiment with your tips but warn you my movie editing skills are extremely basic, thus the reason for why my movies are the way they are. :pilotfly: I'm learning but it is a slow process.

I'll have to get back to you. I don't know off-hand because I've got them mapped to my HOTAS system, one of the buttons which wouldn't be used for anything else. Lowering the HUD glass makes a big difference in the angle in which your gun/bomb pipper shows up. Most helpful with a lower angle attack. :pilotfly:

I believe that is the same way in old 1.2 and 1.5 beta. I know when having airplanes and helicopters on same field I could not put them in any old slot. There were certain ones each could not go into but the other could. Yes, it is a well thought out idea. :thumbup:

I didn't know if the aircraft was targeting me or one of the AI wingmen. I also wasn't sure if it was close enough and had launched ET's or 60s or 73s. So just to be safe I pumped out some flares etc. in the hope that if those missiles were indeed coming at me maybe a flare would save my ass. I also, as you may have noticed really stayed low and tried to put a hill or mountain wall between me and those Mig-29A's. Frankly, I was surprised that we all survived. In flying this variation and the others during testing, I've died more than I survived. Mission is very randomized. There are Igla teams placed around target as well but they are randomized to only show up under certain conditions etc. This particular flight they were not there...much to my delight. :smilewink:

This may have already been asked but here goes; with the Ka-50 we can give our wingmen commands to "recon" a distance and direction and they will do so while feeding us back data in what they find. Will there be a similar function for us in the gazelle? Will there be a "recon" command?
