  1. I cannot remember but does the real Huey use a rudder trim system along with the cyclic trim? In the options menu, should I "enable" trim function for the rudder? What do you guys do?
  2. Exactly, never even entered my mind that this would be the way to do it.
  3. Wow, if I am reading this stuff in the link correctly, one needs to save a profile for each column. I've never done that. I've always assumed that you click on any column, didn't matter and just save because all columns would be treated as parts to one profile. What a bummer. That means I've got to do my profiles, with exception of A-10C all over.
  4. I've had to reinstall DCS World from scratch including my modules. I can't seem to load the joystick profiles I had saved from previous install. :( Is there some sort of trick to doing this? Any help, hint or tip on how to do this would be most appreciated.
  5. Noticed that I cannot adjust throttle anymore. It is still assigned to a slider on my HOTAS but when I slide throttle to lower RPM, RPM does not lower and graphic of throttle turning is no longer there.
  6. Before any of you guys do anything drastic to get your fps back, go into your Eagle Dynamics DCS World start menu and use the "Repair DCS World" executable. Then go back into game and see what happens.
  7. Hope it is nothing serious and wish him/her a speedy recovery.
  8. Same here. Noticed big-time I could not lower the pilots sight anymore. When I press the key which is bound to a button on my throttle, the co-pilots flex sight goes down but not the pilots sight.
  9. Got it and so far love it. Still working on my controls yet. Anyone have pictures as to what controls are on the Cyclic Stick and Collective? I can't find pictures in manual yet to help me set proper controls on those inputs.
  10.
  11. Very cool advice. Will give it a try.
  12. @TooTall You are my hero!
  13. Every time I fly this mission I do just fine. Must be skills difference issue.
  14. Just added points to your reputation. You've shown a lot of class in this thread and issue along with generosity. Cheers to you sir.
  15. Exactly. When you purchase a module now, there is no need to separately download the module files from the website. You only go to website to purchase modules. DCS World will do the downloading and installing for you.
  16. What you need to do is forget about those files you just downloaded. Go into your DCS program and go to the module manager. A window should pop up saying a module is ready for download. Hit button that says "okay" and your new module is downloaded and installed. Have fun flying.
  17. I applaud this effort. It is a great idea.
  18. Here is what I do when flying online with somebody. The mission brief will usually tell you where the enemy is probably located. Use the RWR to get a general sense where obvious threats are. One of us usually flies ahead while the other keeps watch on his six and all-around area. When first draws fire from AAA etc., second pilot moves in for kill while first moves away for regroup.
  19. The cockpits are not clickable in the Su-25A or Su-25T. They are "Flaming Cliffs" level of simulation with the Advanced Flight Model and not the DCS level of simulation. That may come later with some sort of upgrade but if so, that will be a while away me thinks.
  20. Yes.
  21. Stay high. I can't remember the height limit but there is a limit to where they are effective. Stay above that height.
  22. But see, there is the main problem. You are asking people to have a little imagination. :music_whistling:
  23. Interesting. I bought directly from ED and I can tell you there is no manual of this sort included in my module. One would think it would be there with my other manual for my other aircraft. Guess it was an oversight.
  24. Glad to see it has worked out for you. Happy flying.
  25. May I ask where you got that eurofor? I just got the Su-25A myself and could not find a specific manual for the bird in the module directories. I only found the DCS Flaming Cliff's manual. Thanks for sharing this by the way.
