  1. Extremely needed update/module. Much more needed than the AI ATC functions!
  2. And of course we will use the F/A-18C in our training also as it is a USA specific fully simulated cockpit. We also need to know it's strengths and weaknesses as we will compete against it also.
  3. I don't think it works as a ticking clock. Sometimes now, sometimes then.
  4. Looking for the HARM today :D
  5. And not to forget. Create a clean profile in the SST program that disables the mouse. I have one "Default clean" that loads up when PC is starting that have no mouse assignments.
  6. I believe you solve this by adding deadzones in the saitek control panel.
  7. From our welcome page: The Art of Warfare (TAW) was formed in March of 2001 by members who played Delta Force: Land Warrior together. From these humble beginnings TAW has grown into an organization unlike any other. https://www.taw.net
  8. I don't think it's wise to put any more logs on this fire. ED knows we are waiting......
  9. BlacleyCole, if you were referring to the "already member of a team outside TAW", then that is for a organized squad with weekly meetings. It will not apply if you fly with some friends that you meet on discord who don't keep you as a signed up member. Don't know if that got any clearer but simply put you cant be a regular member of two squadrons.
  10. This is our squadron page https://tawdcs.org/squadrons/interceptors/
  11. Interceptors is a European squadron and the language is English. Our events during week nights starts at 21:00 CEST (UTC+2) and normally lasts for one hour.
  12. Greetings pilots, I’m starting a new round of training events for F-15 pilots for competitive PvP play. We have had great success with our SATAL pilots and we want to have more competitive pilots in TAW both for internal and external events. The ultimate result of this recruitment will be to build a team of 8 pilots that can play in events like SATAL. It is a long way of training to decide if you will be a good teamplayer or not, this will of course be a big part of the assessment process. For this new team I will accept players of any skill level and we will follow a training syllabus to get all pilots up to the same standard for communication and flying skills. One of you will at the end of this training be offered the position of squadron leader and one or two will be second lead. it all depends on your skill at the end of the training. The primary task during the training sessions is teamwork but we will practice a lot of maneuvers both aggressive and defensive BFM. We will use TAW developed documentation and training missions to conduct weekly specific training segments for everyone to follow. The team will be tested against our best teams in both the F-15, Su-27 and of course the F/A-18C. The first training sessions will start when we have 3 or more applicants so you need to hurry up to secure your spot. Please mark your application with “INTERCEPTORS” to make sure I will pick up the application and steer you in to the training program. This invitation is open for new members and any returning TAW member that wish to join again. You will not be accepted into the training program if you already are member of a DCS team outside TAW. If you like to know more about TAW and our teams before joining you can sign up to my informational meetings this week on discord. There I will give information about the TAW DCS Division and what activities you can attend as a member. Info meeting signup form: https://goo.gl/rbDzrP If you already have decided to join us you should use this link to register your application: https://taw.net/user/application.aspx PS! We are still recruiting members for the NA Battalion also, all aircraft types.
  13. I can update the OvGME version to current.
  14. Vyrtuoz, I bought licenses a while back when they were called "Pro" that is the advanced license now right?
  15. Norwegian F-35A and USAF F-22 refueling. Currently on operation in Norway.
  16. It's in your spam folder :P
  17. If you search the net for "Carrier Landing Parameters from Survey 45, Fleet and Training" you will find an interesting .pdf file that describes a lot of tests for different aircrafts. Check that .pdf for "TABLE 1: DAY/NIGHT MEAN LANDING VALUES COMPARISON" :)
  18. There was one article stating that optimal takeoff speed would be 22 knots wind over deck and recover speed would be 25-30 knots over deck. To see the wind speed as DCS measures it just place a spawning F/A-18 on one of the catapults and join it. The wind speed will show on the status line when viewing outside F2. And why ED made that mission you can wonder with all the help they seem to have from pilots.

    Hot Fix

    Black and white cows?
  20. Universal Radio is dependent on teamspeak to function but Simple Radio works stand alone and has it’s own server. UR also require changes to teamspeak that makes it vulnerable to message spamming. That will most lightly not be a problem on small teamspeak servers but a huge problem on large servers.
  21. Once you have a live active session your IP address will not change. If your router are idling then your IP can change but not when there are active sessions.
  22. I'm not that in to labels but I believe there are several examples of label types etc. here on the forum so use search and browse though all the results.
  23. Awesome :pilotfly:
  24. Configure Dynamic DNS on your rouiter. Search for "No-IP Free Dynamic DNS" and follow the guides there. When specifying your DCS server address you simply replaces the IP address with your dynamic name that is tide to the DynamicDNS. DCS Server: <your Dynamic DNS name>:10308 No one will ever ask you for your IP address again.
