  1. Precisely. I have lost faith in ED's dedicated server and that we ever will get one. We will struggle with this single player core a long time I think. Makes me sad though as the MP community lightly will not grow much. :( But as the server is now you just add a mission that is using Nevada in the mission rotation list and it will load, so that's simple. What ED should do on the dedicated server front first is to just strip away all the front GUI graphics and create a "light" interface that only can run MP and is incapable of running as a client. That would help much I think.
  2. It is not working in multiplayer mission either.
  3. Sometimes the mission rotation does not follow a rotation path you have selected (sorted the list to) but randoms the selection even if the random button is not selected.
  4. Just select a mission that is made for Nevada (you see the map in the mission file list). It is really simple but you need to have your eyes open.
  5. Yes but you must select the country first to get the individual units to select from. Adding and removing countries works fine in the mod.
  6. I don't understand this priority either. This is essential for keeping the Multiplayer mission going on bussy servers. It should be a priority for ED to work on multiplayer features.
  7. Awesome read. Specially happy about the FC4 confirmation. Will the FC4 aircraft now have AFM when released? And I hope that all FC4 aircraft will have al radios working, clickable and adjustable. That should be possible to get through the licensing and would make the modules better suited for radio mods.
  8. Should be using the same code as the one removing and displaying the stick and be fixed.
  9. To be more true to the real kneeboard it should be fixed somewhere around the seat. But having it "patched" on the pilot body and at the same time usable would be a massive programming job. Now moving it to a fixed location on the seat so you would have to look down on it to use it should be doable.

    DCS МИГ-29A

    какая красивая птица
  11. Yes, I guess you are right. I suppose the MiG-29A should have been used for deterrence against neighbouring countries and protection of a peaceful border. Forcing pilots in to a plane that have lots of failures before start should not have happened either, poor chaps.
  12. Yes, same problem here as well. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3468189#post3468189
  13. Thanks for sharing, have not seen these before. War is never fair and definitely not a "balanced" fight. Let us enjoy the MiG-29 for the stunning features it is well known for. Of course it was outdated in 1999 but it is still a sexy beast! :)
  14. I have a set of missions running that ends with “end mission” trigger. These missions do not rotate in the mission list after updating to 2.5.1. I have created a set of new missions for test and tested them on 3 different servers but the same problem exists on all servers updated to 2.5.1. When running the missions in 1.5.0 everything rotates normally. I have attached the list of test missions that can be used to investigate and recreate the bug. PS! If you test the mission rotation by letting the mission rotate after just 60 seconds everything works but not if the mission runs for 20 minutes. So the bug maybe located in relations to the new memory unloader. EDIT2: I also tried the "load mission" trigger but same problem there.
  15. Your server have a GPU with 4GB memory or more?
  16. Yes, you need to be on same build.
  17. Yes, for the port to be responding to connections there must be a service running, like DCS.
  18. Yes. Search google for "Port Checker, A simple tool to check for open ports on your computer." Then fill inn your IP address and 10308 and press "check"
  19. You need to port forward 10308 UDP in the ASUS router. https://portforward.com/asus/ Select router type and follow the guide.
  20. Yes, you need to buy the maps.
  21. Really good interview! Thanks for sharing.
