I found where that was written roughly an hour after my question. I felt stupid afterwards.

Am I missing something here? I've installed this twice now and still all it is, is an AI. Meaning, It shows up in my Model Manager, my wallpaper screen with clickable icon on bottom, and also on my aircraft selection in the mission editor, BUT... it's not in yellow so I cannot fly. Just use it as AI. Is there something I'm missing here?

Is there another video player that I can download that will play my replay saved videos(tracks) from my ...saved games/DCS/tracks folder.? The player open up but gives me a message about codecs. Thank you

I am carrying both Openbeta and Stable version. Having both takes up quite a bit of storage. Also whenever I download a mission, skin or anything, I have to install on both versions. Should I keep both or just use one, and if the latter, which version should I keep? Thank you for your advice.

I want to thank you for the info. It worked. It made an exact clone but made a D and E drive. The clone went t D and the remaining 497 GB turned into E drive. Maybe when I switch SSD internally it will all be C drive Thank you again for the info. You guys are great

Greetings, I needed to increase my storage so I purchased a larger SSD M.2 NvME, but my rig only has 1 slot and is being used as the main. So I bought this adapter (see attachment) and thought, just copy and paste C DRIVE to D DRIVE (external). WRONG. Then I thought CLONING. Tried downloading cloning programs, going thru all the set-ups, FREE is not FREE anymore. My computer skills when it comes to details such as this are slow. What I want to do is copy the entire existing C DRIVE (SSD M.2 500GB) to a new bigger SSD 1TB which is my D DRIVE now, then when complete, swap out the old SSD with new SSD in the original internal slot. Do I need to do a fresh install of WINDOWS first using my product key? Please help this old NAVY retired Catapult and Arresting Gear operator out. Much thanx

One Senior member had drafted up a Cheat Sheet if you will, which listed Exactly which thread anything should go, from liveries to a module or mission add-on. I printed that and stuck it to my desk. My only other issue was the Administration authorization and how I can edit to match mine to allow me to do things. Thank you again

Thank you sir. I try to stay away from the main program. But often the instructions say to. And then that's when I get the message about 'Administrator Authorization' I know that you can change this on your system, but I can't get it. I fond in properties where you can edit, but when I try, I get declined. Then I really get frustrated. What am I doing wrong?

CT68, Good afternoon. I tend to read everything and this answer woke me up. It seems whenever I place something in the ED/DCSWorld folder as directed by installation details, i.e. liveries into Coremods/Bazar/aircraft.... I get a message stating I have no permission or if it allows me, then when the updates happen I get a message saying it was erased. That's what happened to my A-4C Skyhawk from openbeta. I even tried copying the whole folder back in. Again I have no permission. So your response to pulo is how exactly do I change this? I looked at my permissions in the standalone and tried to edit accordingly, but no joy. Please sir, could you expound on the solution? Greatly applicative.

Where did it all go. It worked this morning. My MODS that I own: FC3 M-2000 F-18 F-5E A-4E My maps I own: Caucas HTTR Persian Gulf So after downloadng the free Tomcat I wanted to go into TRAINING mode. Not there. And as a matter of fact nothing is there. No F-15, No F-5E, etc. Plus what little training is available, is only Caucass. but only Su-27, at least I think it is because no mods are identified. So where did it all go. By the way this is for both openbeta and standalone. Please help

And if it IS a bug, it's very isolated or just maybe no one has tried it, or because they know about compatibility between two dissimilar machinery. DC builds their products 'true to life'. Just like you can't land your F-16 on a carrier. In real life it would destroy the entire landing gear, and the Mod was built ;True to Life;, therefore if attempted, the struts would be destroyed immediately upon hitting the deck, Try it, so in the future, I will not try to answer anyone factually with closure, and once identified will be fixed with next update, and let them think it's just a bug n a side note, you all are a great and helpful group. and my questions have been answered and understood each time. From the F-4 and A-4 which used cables called Bridles to launch, to the A-7, A-6, et al, using the launch bar/holdback bar with the color coded tension bar (T-Bar) designed to snap after aircraft was in final tension at that time the Shooter giving the signal (their personal kneel, touch deck, and point signature) to Deck Edge Operator to push the Fire Push button. Sorry, got a little carried away. It happens when I start talking about it. Gets me all excited. I still think I had the best jib in the world, and you can imagine how excited I am about the new Supercarrier MOD. I bet I was the 1st one o the list.
