Yes i was. Also, there were multiple SM2 ships at 2 different locations, and the EWR indication light was also on on the RWR. Didn't check if it was a friendly or enemy RWR though. (would it be useful if i made a mission to recreate the circumstances?)

AWESOME, so when will it be done?:D Have fun modelling it, btw isn't someone over in RU part of forum making a SU-34 flyable mod? Own model and everything.
-
Bump, would like to know cause one of the most fun parts in this simulation is DEAD. Or at least, it used to be, back when appropriate sam systems where still able to shoot down incoming ARMs etc etc.
-
SAM SM2 as shown on SU-25T whit phantasmagoria pod. (O Perry ship, whit RIM-66 standard missile) Killed me without giving a launch warning, or even having a continuous lock. Is it supposed to do this or are sams even more bugged then before now?
-
Sounds very plausible.
-
Pardon my stupidity, but what does LOBL mean? Has it to do whit passive radar homing missiles like the R-27?
-
There should be a youtube video explaining on how it works posted by Matt Wagner. Maybe try looking that one up? In the meantime, consider yourself lucky already having updated,:D

Maybe in the future, and maybe it is whit a really good host. For now this is what we have to deal whit though, and at least we now have an idea on what the code can handle. Anyway's glad i could make you lough. Would it make you feel any better if i waited till after installing the patch? (sorry, just couldn't resist)

I know, you can have 80 pilots online in DCS to, given the right circumstances. Don't forget that the simulation of ground equipment in DCS is unlike anything else in the gaming (simulation) industries and requires a lot of bandwidth. Also it doesn't mean 16 is a hard limit, only for complex missions whit about 400 units, if mission is less complex it can be more, if you have less units it can be more even still. 32 players should be possible no problems, just don't accompany them by 3 S300 sites and 3 Patriot Sites as well.:D
-
Ground object ≠ Ground Unit DCS has thousands of ground objects to btw.
-
One impressive list whit bug Fixes. Well done and on to the next update.

GPU should do just fine depending on gfx settings and resolution ofcourse. Don't try and run the game whit 16x AA for example. And i agree whit the rest that 32bits version of windows could be causing the issue. Another thing though, did you install AND run the game using Administrator Permission? (right click, "run as administrator)

Ah right, thanks for the reply. /closed please.

I see the forum has gotten an update whit an icon for each DCS W module. Which is great. Except its showing i have not bought any of the modules while i actually own all of them. Is it possible to somehow link my forum account to my ED Shop account so the icons actually show what someone does and does not own? ~S~

Hmmm, have similar tests been done yet whit trees? or are those not objects ingame cause there not collidable?

Setting the afterburner threshold
159th_Falcon replied to Crescendo's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
There's a dropdown box for all planes and besides it there's another dropdown box. Select "axis" and the list will be filtered to only include axis. Works like a charm on all airframes. Or do you actually mean the name of the X axis for example on your joystick? If that's the case no need to know it, just hit assign, then move the axis you want to use and it should recognize it automatically. -
Updates 1.2.3 Wags, just wanted to hand a "thank you" for the continuous updates on the 1.2.3 patch. Good luck to the team on ironing out those last issues. ~S~ ps, anything new about Nevada/EDGE???

Cause DCS World has received quite some improvements in mainly the graphics department. Explaining a loss in FPS. Ofourse a lot of code is also changed to make World happen in the first place and this probably is also related to the lower FPS your experiencing.

SU25t allways lose both hydrolic pumps/lines
159th_Falcon replied to TeeJay82's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
I think i have seen it. Don't recall whether that was in FC2 or in FC3 though. But, given the fact that the frogfoot was designed almost 100% whit survivability in mind i am pretty certain it doesn't only have 2 separate hydraulic systems. The lines will also be routed differently where ever possible. But that's just my personal logic combined whit what i think to know about the frogfoot. -
Believe buddy lasing between Sharks and Frogs is not possible due to different laser types/codes. If memory serves me right that is, which isn't often.

Didn't read the whole thread, but would be nice if the seasons would be calculated in. In summer time the ground can be quite hard because of little rain. (or very soft because of lots of rain, not sure what will be the case in the caucasus) In winter though, its sub zero for month's making the ground very hard and thus supportive to higher loads. So maybe keep the current effect for summer time and make it a bit less for winter??? Just an idea.

In the "Server" screen of the multiplayer GUI make sure the following is set; Server Type: should say "internet" interface should have an IP address in your network. (for me it is 192.168.0.104) Port should be set to "10308" Make sure that firewall settings are not blocking the connection when hosting.

Maybe try the Russian part of the forums? http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=54

Incorporate NATO naming conventions into database
159th_Falcon replied to mjbrennan99's topic in DCS Wishlist
Nah, i like the Russian designations better. Prolly cause i don't know any NATO ones other then; AIM-120 AIM-9 MK-82 GBU-97 you get the idea, use NATO designation's for NATO equipment and RUS designations for RUS equipment. But that's just my preference. Also, i wan't my RUS cockpit back, especially nagging nadia. -
Thanx for the compliments Smil. We were having some hardware issues whit our server the past months and finally got it resolved. So as of now you should be able to see it open to the public a lot more often now. Aircraft availeble in the missions can vary greatly for the moment but given the nature of our squad, eventually all missions should have the following aircraft; SU-25 SU-25T KA-50 A-10C SU-33 SU-27 As OPFOR expect; A10C F-15C MIG-29G ofcourse, nothing set in stone and can vary per mission. ~S~ And don't forget to use our public Team Speak 3 server; IP: 78.129.193.145:10119 PW: jacksparrow (might be a CAPITAL J not sure)
