That's only in Multiplayer. Singleplayer tracks should be fine.

SU-25 and SU-25T (last one is free in DCS World) do NOT have an clickable cockpit. (at this moment) As for the manuals, you can find em in your game root folder; DCS World/Mods/aircrafts/SU-25T/DOC DCS World/Mods/aircrafts/A-10C/DOC DCS World/Mods/aircrafts/Ka-50/DOC DCS World/Mods/aircrafts/P-51D/DOC For combined armes you need to look in the DCS World/Mods/tech folder Which folders you do and don't have depends on the modules you have bought and installed. Thing is, ED Testers have an variety of different versions of DCS World and any of the modules to test at any one time. By supplying a .trk file the testers can replay this track in the different internal testing versions of the game to see if the behavior is still present in the current build. Mind you, there's no need of proving how it works now in the released build. There's only there desire to make sure it works better in the build that will be released next. Hence, watching how its currently working in tacview is useless in regards to the development of the game and testing internal builds. Hope you understand the need for a track file better now. ~S~

The multiplayer login you mean? Pretty sure its linked to your digitalcombatsimulators account. So if you log in here and change your PW you should be all set.

Don't you mean they will not support 32 bits in future???:music_whistling:

Crap, the whole point was inserting MANPADS/STINGERS to key points in the hills by helicopter. Let them walk a bit then spawn some tent and "make" them a mini base. Any work around? i mean, in Ground Commander mode if you set a path they will follow it. So the MANPADS/STINGERS are capable of moving around.

Is it just me or do Vikhr missiles not make any sound? Just played the quick start ground attack mission and noticed the vikhrs didn't make any sound when watching in F6 camera view. Please let me know if a track is needed.

Next DCS (US) Fixed Wing Aircraft Wish List
159th_Falcon replied to diecastbg's topic in DCS Core Wish List
and even more whit modern AND old planes. Keep in mind its not just older planes ED is modeling, in fact they are not. 3rd parties are like Beczl. And most planes in the pipeline can be considered modern. SU-27SM, F-15E being two excellent examples. So really, what's the problem that a 3rd party developer is making an 3 or older gen aircraft because they like the aircraft or think the can make money out of it? What harm will it do us? If you don't like it simply don't put em in your missions, its that easy really. -
What i don't get though; KA-50 happened because they had done work for KAMOV A-10C happened because they had done work for US Air National Guard But the AC-130 cant happen because there developing it for the USA???? I would say it CAN happen because there developing it for USA. Also mind, Wags is specifically referring to the IR operator station, not the entire plane.

Bumperdiebump, has this been noted in the bug tracker yet?

If you have an infantry group in your mission that gets activated using a trigger. Then the infantry won't follow there assigned waypoints. They just spawn into the mission and sit there looking pretty. See attached mission for details. Oh, the group is supposed to spawn after the MI-8MT lands so you can fast forward about 2 or 3 minutes. infantry activation bug.miz

What's that Mower? MiG 21 TO hardcore for you?:D

No idea why it would solve anything but did you try the repair function? Maybe some files got corrupted. Hit start all programs eagle dynamics dcs world repair dcs world Make sure to run as Administrator. Also, to aid others in trouble shooting, could you post your system specs? And maybe more importantly windows version and 32 or 64 bits?

Did you remember to give them your phone number?:megalol: Sorry, just couldn't resist.:D

What you are talking about is already being realized, al be it in a different way. Each unit is divided in section's each section having an amount of hitpoints. Front is typically toughest. Followed by the sides Rear and Top are weakest. Don't know all the ins and outs but the basics are already covered.

Not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes anyway's In my mission i made i noticed a column going off-road and driving trough buildings were they were supposed to just follow the road. Turned out to be quite easy to replicate so see attached track for details and the exact issue. The AI behaves as if there is eiter an object on the road they need to avoid, or as if the road has a different path then what we see. ~S~ on road bug.rar

True, but; DCS is already underway on becoming multicore. How long this will take though is still very much the question. Could be 6 months, could be 5 years. So it depends on how long your system has to last. If its 2 years or longer i'd say go whit the i5.
-
All it means is the following; No immediate change if you already run 64bits If you run 32 bits your out of luck whit the new version DEVS now only have to make one binary, making live easier in many area's including bugfixing It opens up new possibilities cause new features don't have to work under a 32 bits system anymore

FYI, the S300 side can be deployed whit a variety of Radars. Some good for high flying targets, others specifically designed to detect and track low flying target. So the capability of the S300 to destroy incoming missiles/planes/helicopters will most likely depend on the side's layout.
-
Correct, some made by moi. And was actually quite surprised to read the Patriot does engage these missiles now. Slowly moving in the right direction. For those that think the Patriot is not capable of this, currently some Dutch and units are moved to Turkey to protect it from potentially incoming missiles from .......<insert correct country here please, i forgot For reference; Tor M1 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=95713 Buk S11 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=94576 Have stopped updating the threads since updates happened quite quickly after each other. Making it hard to say if it was in current version or not. Guess ill wait till 1.2.4, which shouldn't be very long either and test some more. As for the S-300, its supposed to engage incoming ARM's by itself, those that manage to get into the S-300's minimum engagement zone should be taken out by the sites TOR's i believe. Could have been an other system to though, been a while i looked it up.

Saitek X52 flight stick profile
159th_Falcon replied to CrypticVillain's topic in Controller Profiles and Problems
Sure, not a whole lot to see in the A10C profile i'm using though. Only thing i added are keybindings for the ministick so i can use that to slew the TGP around. For the rest, i have happened to used SFJackbauers setup as well. (just took over the assignments thouh, made the profile myself). Anyway's, profile in the attachment. Not sure if i hearth of the problem your describing before. Been a while i had any troubles myself. Ill see if i can dig trough the SAITEK support forum though. Once you manage to get an account there its quite an useful place. ***EDIT*** Ok, just found something. Not sure if its related though. ON the x52 you can hold a button and then switch profiles using one the HAT switches. When you use this button, it starts to flash, as well as the light of the relevant HAT switch. So maybe your using this so called "clutch" button unintended? Personally i hate it and disabled it, so i can use it as a regular button. To do this rightclick the HOTAS icon, and hit "control panel" Go to "MFD" tab and in bottom right UNcheck both checkboxes called; "Enable Clutch Mode" and "Latched Clutch Button" Don't forget to hit "apply" once done. No guarantees but this might just fix it. Also, if you look in the "about" tab, what version numbers are listed there? DCS A-10C.rar -
Saitek X52 flight stick profile
159th_Falcon replied to CrypticVillain's topic in Controller Profiles and Problems
The fact that a lot of people are not patient enough to set things up properly doesn't make the software crap. Its working FINE. I am controlling all planes in DCS using the SST profiles whit an exception for the A-10C. (which also uses a profile for example the speed brakes) If you need any specific help whit setting it up let me know and ill tell ya how to do it. Also i suggest to take use of the 3 different modes your offered in the profiler. (6 including shift state whit the pinky button) i personally use up to 5 modes using shift states for a given airframe by category; Ground handling and take-off NAV for basic flying around and navigating Air to Air for Air-Air combat Air to Ground for putting warheads to foreheads Aerobatics As for the controls, its quite finicky to set em up right. And i noticed that especially key combinations are tricky to get right in DCS World. So you probably have to redo the profiles to get em to work since they were most likely made for FC2 or standalone versions of DCS. For example, some buttons i had to assign in the profiler as "advanced command" to get it to work. Anyway's, the SST software is great and very useful if your willing to put some time into making profiles. If not, by all means use the ingame menu, but you will be severely limited by the possibilitys and run out of buttons soon. -
Yes and no. Yes it will roll you back No you will fall on your tail coming to a halt. Your call on weather its yes or no then.
