  1. Reminds me of Silent Hunter 5 ...
  2. This is a long standing issue. AI aircraft still don't seem to be affected by damage in any way when landing. For example, when the landing gear is completely destroyed, AI aircraft will land on "invisible" wheels as if nothing ever happened and merrily taxi to the HAS ... The same goes for other damage, such as elevator, rudder, ailerons etc., it doesn't do a thing for AI units. It's quite an immersion killer ... Moreover, when you damage an (AI) aircraft to the point where it cannot properly land, and crashes while trying to, you should get the credits for the "kill" ... I'm pretty sure IL-2 did this properly ... :smartass:
  3. It does here ...
  4. The names of the files are important. It looks like you downloaded the installer twice, which resulted in "(1)" being appended. When you use the file with "(1)" in the name, it fails to find the data files due to the difference in name. (as indicated in your PM) According to your PM the other installer file didn't work. I suggest you delete "DCS_World_release_en_1.2.2.7122_19" and then remove "(1)" from the other file's name so it becomes "DCS_World_release_en_1.2.2.7122_19". Try running it then. If it still doesn't work, check the file sizes of all files.
  5. Can you post the file name of all files which you have downloaded for DCS World 1.2.2?
  6. Perhaps autoupdate.log contains clues.
  7. Very strange ... You could try deleting your current X52 control configuration and configure it again. To be sure, only configure the axis assignments, and don't import X52 settings using "Load Profile". The file is in the following directory: C:\Users\your-user-name\Saved Games\EDBackups\DCS BlackShark 2\Config\Input\ka-50\joystick\ PS: it seems you are still using the standalone version of Black Shark 2, instead of DCS World with Black Shark 2 module. I recommend trying out DCS World 1.2.2, it may fix some issues.
  8. Post a (short) track where you move the controls through the entire range.
  9. You're referring to information from over 5 years ago. A lot has changed since then. Everything is subject to change. ;)
  10. Run "Update DCS World" from the Windows Start menu.
  11. Reminds me of that A-10A pit ...
  12. And the best looking cockpit in FC3 :D
  13. Elaborate. Most of those airshow mishaps involved MiG-29's ;)
  14. You can restore the P-51D tab by using the file that ophiuchus posted. A-10C doesn't have a "special" tab.
  15. This fixes it. As expected, take-off assistance was enabled (auto rudder was disabled)
  16. You need to run DCS_updater.exe with a parameter, as KillaALF explained. When you run it without parameters it will only occasionally check for updates and otherwise launch the game. To force updates to be downloaded, the parameter "update" must be specified. The full path is thus: "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe" update There should be a link in the Start menu for this.
  17. If you have the P51 module installed, please post the options file: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\P-51D\Options\optionsData.lua
  18. I lost the P51 tab after auto update to 1.2.2 but don't have FC3 installed ... so it's not FC3 per se.
  19. Run "Update DCS World" from the Windows Start menu.
  20. It may have been the intention to include the Su-39 (Su-25TM) at some point during Lockon's development, but it didn't make it.
  21. I believe the "vanilla" Su-25 got the AFM upgrade when the Su-25T (first AFM flyable) was released in Flaming Cliffs 1.
  22. Legacy_AFM_Su39.dll is probably used for Su-25T ...
  23. So, if it was (already) made for a dedicated DCS module, you'd rather they didn't use it in FC3? (all speculation of course ;))
  24. Perhaps the F-15C is the next DCS flyable and the cockpit was recreated with high detail to allow cockpit interaction ...
  25. FYI: I don't think this "issue" is new.
