  1. Nothing wrong with current pricing.
  2. Downloading and seeding. It'll be up for a while after it finishes. Which may be days from now at the current rate. I guess it'll get faster after 1700 US Eastern time.
  3. Made up a table of frequencies that combines Shu77's and HiJack's tables. Thought it might be useful to have it all in one place. DCS Table of Frequencies.pdf
  4. Thanks TH, I'll give it a shot.
  5. What was that all about? Dude just asked a question.
  6. Hey folks, a question. I downloaded and installed FaceTrackNoir 1.6 and it works fine with DCS:WH 1.1.1.1, but I can't get it to work in DCS:World 1.1.2.1 with DCS:WH 1.1.2.1 (I think all those version numbers are right :ermm:). I'm running Win 7 64 and using a Logitech QuickCam Orbit/Sphere. DCS:WH, DCS:World and FTN are all set to run with administrator permissions.
  7. Just stumbled across this. Well that explains a lot. I thought the pots in my controllers were going bad.
  8. Pretty cool, but holy schnikes is that app pricey. 30 bucks goes a fair way toward a second screen and a DIY software solution. Just an observation on the business side of things.
  9. I was successful in getting it to fire at other armor, but not in getting it to fire at a designated point, or enemy structures. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if there's a bug.
  10. In case you haven't seen them yet, Shu77's DCS Airfield Diagrams also contain all this data, and show the layout of each airfield. The same diagrams are also included in the iWarthog HD app, which is tremendously handy to have if you happen to have an iPad. edit: it doesn't have the alternate airfield data or id numbers, but the rest, yes.
  11. The hog basics guide by Andy Bush is pretty good. You can find it here
  12. +1
  13. Disregard. I was mistaken about the disc.
  14. Stupid content companies and their patchwork licensing. Distributors and network providers should force content companies' hand, and make them deliver under a unified licensing scheme, or find another way to get their products to market. Big content has billions of dollars. If they want to play games with access, they should do it on their own dime. I'm sick of seeing "company x has not licensed this content for viewing in your country". Google/Amazon/Microsoft has the clout to stand up to these shenanigans. Wish they would do it. /rant
  15. Cool, I'll try again and let you know.
  16. DCS:Space-A. How many folks would be disappointed when they find out it has nothing to do with orbital flight?
  17. There's a distinction? "War is the continuation of politics by other means."
  18. Ubisoft is the bane of simulation franchises. First LOMAC, then Silent Hunter, then IL-2. They consistently push simulation products out of the door in a completely decrepit state and expect the fanbase to fix everything for them. And their IP rights are still haunting ED.
  19. Hardcore PC simmers are a small tight-knit bunch, compared to the audience for FPS games and such. Word of mouth and publicity on dedicated forums like SimHQ count for a lot, I think. Much more than general purpose gaming publications and the like, which are targeted to twelve year old males with short attention spans.
  20. Spain plays like they have one mind. That takes some phenomenal coaching. It's not easy to train players to be so unselfish.
  21. I'd like to have the materials that come with the individual missions, such as diagrams and charts. Seems illogical that they're not already included in the campaign, since they're the exact same missions. If I download the individual missions, will the campaign install key work for the mission files also?
  22. Negative. There's only a .jpg file for a splash screen.
  23. Where are all the support materials (checklists, charts, etc.) that are supposed to be included with the campaign?
